I haven't ever listened to Elvis outside of like, what you hear on the radio or in movies, so this was an entirely new experience to me. I can see why people were head over heels for him. What a voice, on top of these melodies, super nice. Do-whoppy, songs about love and longing, just overall a great album.
Elvis doesn't play a character on this album, which means it's probably his best one. Best track: Fever

Nothing to write home about, but nothing to whine about necessarily. I don't think this is his greatest work. However, I still found it enjoyable. 3.5 but I'll give it a 4.
4.5/5. Solid stuff here. I have not listened to a lot of Elvis, but I am a fan of this. If I saw this at a record store, I would pick it up.
I mean Elvis is Elvis, I didn't expect it to be super different, it was still enjoyable but not a album I would put on to chill to on purpose.
Standard elvis…. Few too many ballads to mark any higher!
