3.75/5. This album rocks. It's some solid rock, I liked it.
The thing I don't understand about these types of albums is who actually enjoys listening to these? It just seems the artists are trying to make it weird, and not trying to make it good.
Not good, could not listen, who the hell thinks this is good music.
This was enjoyable. Although I did not understand what he was saying, I really liked this album. Some parts of this remind me of The Zombies' Oddesy and Oracle.
Enjoyed the first 15 minutes, but then it went on for another hour
3.5/5. Not the worst alt-rock I've been thrown, but by no means is it amazing. Overall it sounded better than other alt-rock albums I've listened to.
Really a 3.5. Solid album, enjoyed listening to it. Nothing on here blew my mind, however.
Not bad, not my taste. I would never desire to listen again.
4.5. I really liked this, will be visiting this again. Great folk.
Just another subpar alt-rock album. Not something I would choose to listen to. To me, it is average. Nothing stood out to me.
Generic, unenjoyable, alt-rock
One of the best albums ever made. Every song is the best on the album. A true classic, one of my most listened to in my collection. The cover itself is amazing.
3.75/5. I liked this. It’s was weird, different, and good. I would not mind revisiting this.
same old same old. Post punk. Not a fan.
4.5/5. Solid stuff here. I have not listened to a lot of Elvis, but I am a fan of this. If I saw this at a record store, I would pick it up.
I did not find anything special about this album, it was fine.
3.75/5. This album rocks. It's some solid rock, I liked it.
2.75/5. It was fine. Nothing special, kind of dragged on.
3.5/5. I liked this. I haven’t listened to much west cost hip hop, so it was nice to hear some new things. Definitely more violent than east coast.
3.5/5. I don't know what to think of this. I have never listened to anything like this before. It did not sound bad. I didn't necessarily enjoy listening to it, but I also did not dislike listening to it. Interesting stuff for sure.
1.5/5. I don't understand how people enjoy this type of music, very unenjoyable, makes me a little insane listing to this stuff.
2.5/5. Same old new wave. Maybe when this came out it was considered good, but it definitely did not age well. Sounded generic, most of the songs sounded the same.
It's ok, I don't really like the sound of this type of music.
Nothing that stuck out to me, it's ok.
This was alright, I don't really have a strong opinion about this album.
Good stuff here. I always knew Lou Reed for "Walk On the Wild Side", but a lot of the sons are here are great as well. I would pick this up if I saw this at a store.
It was fine. Just an average alternative rock album with some touch of indie rock.
3.75/5. I enjoyed this. I thought there were some funny lyrics throughout the album. I also thought most of the songs sounded good. I will have to listen again.
This is some really classic bad 80s music. I did not enjoy this, however, I think they could have made it worse.
I loved this. I love Bob Marley and the Wailers. This is a classic. Something I will listen to again.
3.5/5. It was different, but good. I liked the sounds on it. I need to listen again.
3.5/5. Not as good as the other Leonard Cohen album I listened to (Songs of Leonard Cohen), some sounds on here that didn't really work for me.
2.5/5. It wasn't bad, but it sure wasn't good. Is this what Nu Metal is? It was like metal with some rapping. Very interesting but by no means enjoyable.
I did not enjoy this, It just seemed too long and dragged on, not to mention the music did not appeal to me.
3.75/5. It was fine, too intense for me. I think as an album it is good, but I just do not enjoy this type of music, and that affects what I think of an album.
3.75/5. I liked this, some songs are better than others.
3.5/5. I liked this album, nothing really stuck out to me though.
It was fine, all the songs sounded similar. Was not the biggest fan of this.
One of the most well-known Jazz records for a reason. It's not my first listen, and it won't be my last. I have not listened to a lot of John Coltrane, but this is a great album.
Good stuff, enjoyed this. I would pick this up if I saw it at a record store.
Good stuff. Her voice is different, that's not a bad thing. Definitely need to revisit this one several times more.
3.75/5. Interesting stuff here. I liked the sounds on this album, and I liked the format. Pretty experimental.
Good stuff. I've seen this album around and never got around to listening to it. I enjoyed this, I would pick it up if I saw it at a record store.
Good stuff. I don't listen to metal, but this is some good music here. Pleasantly surprised.
3.75/5. I know Queen Latifah was in the naive tounges, so I was pretty confident I was going to like this album. Most songs on here were good, however, there were a few that did not work for me. 'The Pros' was very unenjoyable. Most songs fell right in line with the native tounges sounds, so I like most of the album.
Pleasantly surprised. It had relaxing sounds while not sounding boring, very good.
3.5/5. Good country rock, pretty average, but good. I've heard of The Flying Burrito Brothers before so it was good to listen to them.
Not bad but not good. Wierd is the best word I could use to describe this album. Read on Wikipedia that Zappa is the frontman of this group which makes sense. I could imagine this gets better with each listen.
Meh. Sounded like typical 80s pop stuff, not really my cup of tea. I think most of the songs sounded a bit stale.
3.5/5. Pretty decent, I would have to listen to it again to get a better judgment and thought about this one.
2.75/5. Gets old fast, and makes me think of the scene in 21 when Channing Tatum is having a happy trip and Jonah Hill is having a depressing trip. This album would be playing in the depressing trip. Some songs are decent, I just cannot listen to them back to back
3.75/5. I liked this, it has sounds of normal boring techno music, but they add something else to the songs that make it less repetitive and more enjoyable to listen to, although there are still some repetitive songs on the album. I am excited to listen to more of their stuff.
Good. I have heard of this artist and I have seen this album cover around. Glad I got to listen to it because I enjoyed it and it was good. The features were all good, along with the songs.
3.75/5. Enjoyable. I am always cautious of punk albums but this one was good. The songs were nice to listen to.
Good stuff. Definitely different, and that is why I like it. If I saw this at my record store I would pick it up.
It was alright, I definitely was not blown away by it, and I definitely won't listen to it again.
Annoying 80s new wave music, not enjoyable.
I liked this a lot, it was a good mix of folk and country. I have not listened to that much out of the genre so it was enjoyable. Would listen to it again.
The thing I don't understand about these types of albums is who actually enjoys listening to these? It just seems the artists are trying to make it weird, and not trying to make it good.
4.5/5. Very good. I expected nothing less. Not my favorite doors album, however. But that doesn't mean it's bad.
Classic and timeless. There’s a reason almost everyone like Sinatra. Listening to this makes me feel like I’m in New York City.
It was alright, kind of strange. I don't think I would listen to it again.
Only a few songs were on Spotify, but from what I heard I did not like it. Boring, annoying 80 RnB.
Not good, not enjoyable. The voice is really annoying and does not sound good. The instrumentals aren't even that great.
3.5/5. Pretty good and different. I liked the guitar on Memphis. I knew a few faces songs before but have never heard any off this album.
3.5/5. Pretty good, definitely a little out there. The singers voice was also a little out there, but that’s not a bad thing. The album art is also interesting.
It was fine, nothing really stuck out, however, I think on more listens I could like and appreciate it more.
It's alternative rock from the 90s, pretty average. I have no strong opinions about it.
Not a fan. Classic 80s music that I don't like aka new-wave.
Solid. Not as good as Electric Ladyland, but still very good.
Not good, bad, make it stop.
Good. I usually don't enjoy punk, but this album was very enjoyable. I also really like the album art.
No thank you, could not make it through half the songs.
3.5/5. The more I listen to Leonard Cohen, the more I realize I have to be in a certain mood to really enjoy his music. I also realize that most of his songs sound similar. I don't know if I could tell the difference between two of his albums.
I liked it, good stuff. I've always heard of Peter Frampton but never listened. "Baby, I Love Your Way", along with a few other songs, were very familiar.
3.5/5. You know, it wasn't all that bad. I don't always like punk but this album was alright.
In the genre list on Wikipedia, it lists noise rock. And that it is. Just noise. This album sounds like the singer is crying over loud and annoying instrumentals.
This was one I was waiting for. Any song off of this album could be the best song on the album. I liked everything about it, although the last song was a little strange.
I liked this. Very different sounding and I was engaged the whole time. I would pick this up if I saw it at my record store.
3.5/5. Different and good. I like the instrumentals throughout the album.
Very enjoyable and easy listening. Nothing that stands out on this album, but solid all around.
Good, classic. Who doesn't like the dead?
3.5/5. I liked it more than I thought I would, I would listen again.
It was fine, kinda of weird. I liked some songs, but then other just seemed repetitive.
Meh, it's not bad. Sounds like pretty generic early 2000's hip hop though, and it is a little boring.
3.5/5. Good, unexpected. Usually, with this genre I feel it's hard to listen to, however, this album was rather enjoyable. 'Song 2' is definitly the most popular off this album.
This was alright. Prety easy listening. I felt like a few songs dragged on for a bit. The only song I knew off here was 'Walk Of Life', which everyone probably knows.
Meh. Wikipedia describes this as Folktronica, I guess I can see that. It's honestly pretty boring, but necessarily bad though.
It's ok. I found it a little boring and hard to listen to at some points.
Good. I liked all of it, "You're my best Friend" being my favorite. I don't enjoy this as much as I do their earlier works. Still solid, though.
3.5/5. I've never listened to a Buddy Holly album, but this is kind of what I expected. Easy listening, not bad.
3.5/5. I guess I don't really understand Tom Waits. I don't really like his voice, and I find it hard to listen to. I think I just need to get more adjusted to it. For me, that takes away from the music and makes it less enjoyable. I do think the songs on here do have great artistic value and I do appreciate it.
3.5/5. Pretty average. It’s good music, not much sticks out to me.
3.5/5. Surprised me, I liked it more than I thought I would.
I liked this. If was kind of like jazz, but not like jazz. Most of the songs were good.
4.5/5. Great album, enjoyed every song. I would definitely pick it up if I saw it at my record store.
This was ok. Some songs were good, others were not. Overall, it was average.
This is fine. It's a little too dated for me. I don't think this album aged very well, and the background singers get very old, repetitive, and annoying. The songs without the background vocals are pretty decent, however.
3.5/5. This was alright, nothing really stood out to me. I liked it, however, because I have not heard a lot of music like this.
3.5/5. Pretty good, better than average. I liked the general vibe of this album, 90s RnB. The track that I liked the most was 'Diggin' On You'.
One of my all-time favorites. Probably my favorite Zeppelin album.
Meh, not great. Pretty average noisy post-punk. Nothing really stood out to me.
Good stuff, very nice to listen to. Would pick it up if I saw it at my record store.
I don't really like Bruce Springsteen. I don't really like this album.
Not much here imo. Kind of just a generic post-punk alternative album. I think it starts off strong, but just doesn't keep it going for all of the album.
Eh, this is fine. Nothing bad or good about it.
Pretty average, honesty not what I really expected for Paul Simon. Easy listening for sure.
Really surprising. Loved this album and the instrumentals.
I'm just glad it's over. I did not like the lyrics or instrumentals. Could have been worse.
This was not good. Very boring. Every doing sounded very similar.
I didn't really like this. It sounds somewhat psych but not good, and more new-agey. The vocals were not enjoyable.
3.5/5. It's alright. I think it's pretty average. I liked the opening track. I never really understood people's obsession with Bob Dylan. I think he's a good songwriter and singer, but I don't see why people give him so much praise, maybe I'm missing something.
Meh. It's Michael Jackson, but it's heavily influenced by the 80s. Some songs are great, others are not.
This was alright. More weird than good. My favorite song on this album was definitely 'I heard It Through The Grape Vine', however, I knew that before listening. That song was the reason I was excited for this album, and it was not that.
3.5/5. I liked this. It reminded me a little of the early Beatles, but a little folky.
This was very good, I liked it. I knew a few of the songs off here. I would listen to this again.
Meh. It's not bad, it's just boring. The songs all sound the same.
Very good, possibly their best album. I know there is a lot of historical context with this album, and I believe that adds to it. It's a pretty political album.
3.75/5. Honestly, I expected more. This album was definitely more experimental than I thought it would have been. The sounds are definitely different and cool.
This album is alright, I guess average. It doesn't sound bad, I just feel like most of the songs sound similar and it goes on for 70 minutes.
This album is weird. It's like new age and rock, very strange. It makes me uncomfortable. Not very good, pretty average, and uninteresting.
3.5/5. This was pretty good, nothing really stuck out or blew me away. I like the vibe.
This was alright, kind of ambient, but I liked the sounds. The cover scared me a little.
BONGO BONG!! I liked this album, it was pretty enjoyable and easy to listen to.
2.5/5. Very monotone and boring. I feel like I didn’t really listen to anything.
Not good, could not listen, who the hell thinks this is good music.
Didn't really like this. Pretty boring and it just sounds very similar. Also very long.
Very good, I liked this a lot. Nina Simone never disappoints.
3.5/5. This album is pretty good and strange. It has a lot of energy. Paper Planes is by far the best (next is Jimmy). Some songs are also not good though.
Prety good pop. Not really my kind of music, but I can appreciate it.
I really enjoyed this album. It was very pleasant. I would pick it up if I saw it at my record store.
This is average. Kinda bland and boring, but also good.
3.5/5. This was alright, a little better than average. I thought most of the tracks sounded similar, however, they were good.
This was good. Easy listening. Sounded like most music from the 50s
I liked this. It's classic. I don't really have much else to say. If I saw this at my record store I would pick it up
I'm not impressed by this. It is really just not good. Just sounds like bad 80s music that's trying to be funky.
2.5/5. This album was strange. It is folky, but also a little 80s, which isn't the best combination. I liked some of the instrumentals, partially the violin in some of the songs. However, the vocals are off-putting and there is the occasional '80s sound' that I don't really like.
Stupid 10's music, that really is just straight bad. If I had to show someone what a bad album was, I would refer them to this. While it had some sub-par beats, the lyrics are some of the stupidest I've heard.
This is not really the type of music I enjoy. although it is not bad, I don't like it.
I liked this. It was very enjoyable, and I liked every song. Definitely pop, but there are small hints of psych.
Kind of strange, not the best. It sounds about average, and nothing really sticks out to me. It is a little different, but that doesn't make it great.
I was not really expecting to like this, but it was better than I thought. The cover was definitely offputting. I usually don't really like 80s/new wave, but this was alright.
Not bad, but pretty generic. I’ve said this before, but I feel like most albums from this time sounds the same.
From the half that I listened to (only half is on Spotify), I thought it was alright. I can definitely tell this was made in the 80s, but I liked it. I feel like this is more R&B than soul.
Pretty average soul. I liked it, I don't think it is anything special, however.
Really liked this. Nick drake is good. I would pick this up if I saw it at my record store.
I liked this. It was simple and nice. I don't really know Country, but I would like to call his Classic Country.
This was ok, I kind of expected more. It sounds pretty generic for the time it came out.
I didn't really like this. I just don't like how it sounds. I find it very hard to listen to.
Meh. Not bad, not amazing. Pretty average album IMO.
This was good. I did not reall expect this from Joni Mitchell.
3.5/5. This is some pretty enjoyable soft rock. It’s not particularly freak, but it’s also very easy to listen to.
I don't know what this is. What the hell is Glam Rock. It is so strange. It is like David Bowie + rock. I think it's fine, I just don't get it.
Boring sounding and generic. I don't think it's necessarily bad, I just don't think it's great. Like I said, boring and generic, it kind of all sounds the same.
3.5/5. This was alright, I would say average. I liked the live aspect of it. Jazz is always good.
4.5/5. This was a very good album. You can tell that he has a lot of musical talent from this album.
This is not good. What the hell is this? Do people actually find this enjoyable? It is like a worse Bruce Springsteen.
This album really did not age well. This was bad. I did not like this. I feel like all the songs sound the same and they all sound bad.
3.5/5. I was expecting more, but it was good. I like how unique this sounds.
Very good, very solid. Classic blues-rock. Free bird is the track I knew the most, however, I don't think it is the best off this album. Could easily be a 5, I just don't know how re-listenable it is.
It's a shame not all of this is streaming on Spotify because from what I heard, this was great. Really good funk-soul, I would pick it up if I saw it at my record store.
2.5/5. This was fine, kind of annoying if I'm being honest. I just don't really like the arty/glammy type of rock.
This is one of my favorite albums. Almost being 10 years old, it still holds up. By far one of the best albums of this century.
This was very enjoyable, I liked it a lot. It was a good day might be one of Ice Cube's most well-known songs, but I think any song on here is just as good. I also like how he addresses political topics.
3.5/5. Good. Not as good as Pieces of a Man, but certainly a solid album.
This was average. Nothing bad about it, but nothing outstanding about it either.
Not the biggest fan of this. Sounds kind of whiney. It's not necessarily bad, it's just not for me.
This was enjoyable. Although I did not understand what he was saying, I really liked this album. Some parts of this remind me of The Zombies' Oddesy and Oracle.
This is alright, nothing amazing. I liked the other Stooges album (self-titled) I listened to on this list.
This was alright, I'm not the biggest fan of it. The thing with most Punk bands is that you can tell that they have a lot of musical talent. However, most of the punk I've listened to is not very enjoyable. Maybe that's the point.
3.5/5. This is very different from most things I've heard. It's kind of punky and also kind of garage rocky. It's alright, not really my taste tho. Objectively, I think it is a good album, subjectively, not so much.
3.5/5. This was pretty good. It's not exactly what I like to listen to, but I can appreciate it. I think the last song is too long, however.
3.5/5. This is a fun album. Makes me want to dance. It is a little repetitive, but other than that, very enjoyable.
This is just so boring. I do not like Bruce Springsteen. I do not like this album.
This was good, pretty straight forward in my opinion.
3.5/5. This is pretty good. I had no problem listening to it, however, most of the songs seem to repeat themselves. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it were a little shorter. That being said, by no means did I not like this. This album is more enjoyable than others on this list.
This was good, but it was also very long. Every song on here was of quality, however, with a runtime of 104 minutes, this album becomes somewhat of a hassle to listen to. My favorite track from this album was "Isn't She Lovely".
Not the biggest fan of this. I don't really like new wave, so I was not expecting to like this. Time After Time is one of the only songs that I enjoyed on here. The last song was abysmal.
This is fine, it's not bad but it's definitely not good.
I was very excited when I got this album. It seemed like something I would really enjoy. However, a few songs in, my excitement disappeared. There is just something about this album that doesn't hold up today. I think the instrumentals are good, but at times I feel the vocals are lacking or boring.
2.5/5. I did not really enjoy this. All the songs kind of sound the same, with the singer kind of yelling the same words over and over again.
This was weird, and I loved it. This music is very different from most things I have heard, and I really like it.
Amazing. I was blown away by how good this record was. This album has been on my list for a while, and I’m glad that I listened to it. Will be buying this if I see it at my record store.
This was alright, kinda felt like I was listening to a Pixar soundtrack. Overall it was kind of a boring listen.
Yes, this is it. This album has some true classics. This is quite the debut album for a group. I will say, not all songs are on the same level. I thought New York City Cops was the worst song on here, all others are great.
2.5/5. This was not enjoyable. All the songs sounded the same. Would not reccommend.
This was good, I enjoyed it. It did not blow me away, however.
This is weird music. It is like Bruce Springsteen, but more 80s and new wave but also more country. This album really confused me.
Was not a big fan of this. It’s pretty droned out and all the songs sound pretty similar. However, it was not unbearable.
This was fine, nothing special. I enjoyed listening to this, but I really don't feel compelled to listen again.
Not as bad as I was expecting, however, still not great.
This was actually very good. It is exactly what I was expecting and it was exactly what I wanted. There really is not a bad song on here.
This album sounds like average 90s Hip Hop that has not aged well. I was not the biggest fan of this, however, it was not terrible.
I’m not sure if this is a different band named Velvet Underground, But this is some of us disappointing music I’ve listened to. I had high expectations going into this and was extremely disappointed.
3.5/5. Stevie Wonder is very consistent, and this album is no exception. It is exactly what I would expect from him. It's good, however, it's not the best thing I have ever heard.
Average, nothing really stuck out to me. I'm not really going to remember this album.
This was fine, somewhat enjoyable. It is kind of plain, but that's not a bad thing. It could be worse, and it could be better.
This just sounds so generic. It sounds like the music a fake band in a movie would play.
2.5/5. I did not rally like this. It was just sad and boring.
This was very enjoyable. Some great funk and soul. If I saw this at my record store I would pick it up.
This was alright, kind of slow and empty, but in a cool, artistic way. I did have higher expectations for this, and they were not really met. Overall, it is just everage.
I was not the biggest fan of this. It was a little out there for me.
4.5/5. This album is a classic. I put this on whenever I am not sure what to play. It has such a fun feel to it while also being very good music.
3.5/5. This was good, and just about what I expected. This is not my favorite Steely Dan album I've heard, but it is definitely enjoyable.
This was definitely artistic, I don't think it was that good, however.
This was good, and I expected that. It doesn't beat Ziggy Stardust (nothing will), but it is definitely better than most music.
I never really understood people's obsession with Van Morrison. I don't think his music is bad, but I really don't think its any thing special. Maybe I'm missing something.
This was fine. It was more weird than good.
This was good, definitely one of the better albums by him that I’ve listened to.
Just average to be honest. I know some people think Bob Dylan is the greatest, but personally, I don't find him to be anything special. I do think his music is good, but it is nothing that blows me away.
3.5/5. This was better than I initially thought it was going to be. At first, I heard the first few songs and was not really into it, but then I started to get into the weird electronic sounds. The is different and it is good.
This was fine, nothing special, average. A lot of synths, and very new-wavy.
This was very good. It is different from the music I listen to, and I enjoyed it a lot.
4.5/5. I have listened to this before, and on this listen I found this album more enjoyable than the first. It is a very solid album, as most of Wonder's albums are. The funk and soul go so well together, and it makes this a very enjoyable album.
An exceptional album. Really displays how talented the group is. This one is in my top 3 for Beatles ablums.
This album is so fun. Just makes me wanna dance. Definitely going to look for this at my record store.
2.5/5. There are some parts of this album that are decent, and there are other parts that are not. Some of the songs I somewhat enjoy listening to, but then others I just keep asking why it going on for so long.
This was fine, nothing amazing. It’s definitely more of a main stream and less extreme type of punk.
This was not very good. It was boring and lousy.
This was just average. Nothing really blew me away here, and it did not exceed my expectations.
This was fine. I liked how all the songs were short, but it really did not give me a lot to love about this album.
Poor Rufus, imagine having a name like that. It sounds like dog vomit. This album is just a guy singing with a whiney voice-over instrumental. Not very good.
3.5/5. Pretty solid, I was not really blown away by it, however. 4 of the songs were not streaming on spotify.
One of my favorite albums. Every time I listen to it I like it more. I don't have much more to say. It is amazing.
3.5/5. This was good, not amazing. Selfish is my favorite off this album. This album is better than average, however, some songs were not my favorite.
This was fine, not bad. I did not take much away from this, however.
Just a bunch of weird noises on loop.
This was good, solid. I enjoyed listening to it
Not very good. Very techno, but it's not terrible to listen to.
Great, solid. Filled my ears with sweet soul for 75 minutes.
This was fine. Kind of weird, but in a boring and not interesting kind of way.
It's new wave. I've heard worse, and I've heard better. I liked that doing from Stanger Things tho, Elegia.
Did not really like this. Very political, however.
Solid, no complaints. Every song on this album rocks.
2 hours?! No. The only good part of this album is the orchestra.
2.5/5. Not the worst alt rock I;ve heard, but definetly not ejoyable.
This was fine. I was a little underwhelmed, however, I expected each song to be as groovy as their most popular tracks, but a good amount of the songs on here were just not that good. But the tracks that are good, are very solid.
Great. Best Sinatra album I've listened to. Historically, this album is very significant.
Not bad, I don't know if it really qualifies as music tho.
3.5/5. Good. I liked this album. It was fun and fast. Panama, what a great song.
3.5/5. Above-average 60s pop. It's nothing amazing, but it's not bad.
3.5/5. Pretty decent grunge alt-rock.
This is good. I am not the biggest fan of this style of hip hop, but it's certainly good music.
2.5/5. Let’s just say I have heard better bad music.
This was fine. Nothing amazing, but it wasn't terrible.
Very good. Exactly what I expected from Paul Simon.
3.5/5. This was good, not amazing, however. Definitely some of the better punk I've listened to. I would have no issue listening to this again.
3.5/5. This album was fun, I liked it. All the songs were enjoyable.
3.5/5. Slightly above average pop-rock. I have heard better from The Kinks, but this was still a good album.
4.5/5. Better than I remember. The first half of the album is amazing. Great songs and great features. I felt that the second half of that album, while it was by no means bad, it lacked in song quality, compared to the first half. Overall, a really good album.
Certainly not bad, but it is somewhat repetitive. It can be a little boring at times too.
3.5/5. This was rock. I mean, the first 3 songs of the album are pretty good, and definitely some of their most popular. I felt the rest of the album was rock. Nothing really special about it. I can see how people can like this, however.
This was weird, and not very good. The first song certainly did not need to be 20 minutes. And the rest of the songs were about average.
Very plain, and empty. It's also pretty generic for its time. And I do not like this girl's voice that much. Overall, this album was not easy to listen to.
Very loud punk and alt-rock. Not very good, I did not enjoy this very much. All the songs sound the same, it's terrible.
It's not terrible, but it does not really blow me away. I would say it's pretty average. I did not mind listening to this, but I don't know if I would choose to listen to it again.
This was fine. It's certainly not my style of music, but I did not mind listening to it. The songs were fun to listen to, but they all kind of sounded the same to me.
I did not like this. Very repetitive, and difficult to listen to,
This was alright. It was kind of boring and repetitive, but it was not terrible.
3.5/5. Good. I like Supertramp, and I like this album. It's enjoyable to listen to.
I love the instrumentals on this album. It is very spacy. The songs on the second half of the album are certainly longer and not my favorite part of the album.
3.5/5. It's Elton John. It's good, I'm just not the biggest fan of this type of music. This album is also pretty long.
Kind of boring. It's pretty emotionless, with weird and kind of boring techno beats. I guess it's not bad though.
Look at the album cover. That is how this album sounds. A mess of sounds that make for unenjoyable listening.
3.5/5. Very disco. Very groovy. The opening track, Good Times, was my favorite here. The album was good, it was just a little stale, and didn't blow my mind.
3.5/5. Pretty good, easy listening. Reminds me of Bowie. The Passenger was definitely the song I enjoyed the most.
This is fine. It's rock, and it's not much else. I don't have much more to say. It was fine to listen to.
Meh. It's fine, it is just plain and boring. It is not bad, but I don't think it is anything special.
4.5/5. Very enjoyable album. This is a cool, experimental mix of rock and electronica. It is interesting to see how the group got to this point, seeing how their previous albums were more rock than electronic.
This is fine. I feel like the majority of the songs are similar. It’s not bad, it’s just a little boring.
This is fine. Nothing special about it in my eyes.
This is fine. It’s some decent rock, somewhat generic for it’s time, but it was enjoyable to listen to.
Not for me. It’s like a musical, and I don’t like musicals.
2.5/5. Only enjoyable song on this album is Drive, and everything else sounds like generic alt rock noise.
Not bad. Not my style of hip hop, however.
Meh. Not bad, not great. Kind of boring.
This is good. I like the instrumentals, and I like the guys voice. The lyrics are also pretty solid.
3.5/5. Some solid rock from the 70s. It’s not mind blowing or anything, but it’s enjoyable to listen to.
Shit... not this guy again. This was fine, I don't like this style of music.
4.5/5. This one really caught me off guard. From the album cover, I thought this would be some not-so-great rock, but it turned out to be a really nice soul. I enjoyed this album, it's good.
I love David Bowie. This album is very enjoyable.
3.5/5. It’s Bob Dylan. So it’s pretty good, but not as good as people seem to make it.
Hmm. Lots of sounds. Some of the songs are good, and enjoyable. There are a few songs where I’m not sure what going on.
This was good. I know there's a lot of history/story to this album.
I do not think this is good. The lyrics make no sense to me, it's so strange. Also, this music is just so boring.
3.5/5. This is good. I didn’t know what to expect coming into this, but I was pleasantly surprised.
2.5/5. This was kind of boring, but I didn't mind listening to it.
This was good, but I found it underwhelming.
Not the worst 80s music I've listened to, but certainly not the best. Overall, I would say it's average, kind of boring.
2.5/5. Not a big fan of this. It is boring and not that enjoyable. I found the music to be subpar as well, very 80s.
3.5/5. This was fine. I was an interesting blend of Bossa Nova and class Sinatra. Overall, this is decent, but nothing mind blowing.
This is like Leonard Cohen by way better. It's very acoustic and simple.
This was fine. It's a live performance, so it's pretty "jammy". Songs were kind of long, and as someone listening it as an album, I do not think it was amazing. I bet it was great live, though.
Was not really a fan of this. It was pretty boring.
3.5/5. Not bad, honestly. It certainly is a lot, but I don't mind it. It gets me pumped up. Most of the songs do sound pretty similar, however.
This is very boring. I wonder if they tried to make it sound like that, cause they did a great job.
Meh. I found this boring and not that good. But I guess it wasn't terrible.
3.5/5. Best Elvis Costello album I've listened to so far. It's kind of fun, light and enjoyable.
3.5/5. This is alright. It's kind of weird, and a little lengthy, but it's enjoyable.
This is good. I like Arcade Fire. This album isn't as good as Funeral, but it has similar sounds, and it's still above average.
Meh. It's above average new wave, but it's still new wave. I didn't suffer listening to it, which was nice.
This is good. Nothing amazing happening, just good music. When I saw it was on Blue Note I kind of knew it was going to be good.
Not into this. It's just sounds like loud, unorganized, weird stuff.
3.5/5. I feel like this album is somewhat inconsistent. Some songs I really enjoy, and then others I have no interest in listening to. "Alright" is by far the most well-known song on this album, for good reason.
Meh. A very long album where everything kind of bleeds together and sound the same.
This album has not aged well. It really sounds like it's from the 90s. But I guess it's not terrible? I also hope you're not listening to this album for the lyrics: "You took me out to wind dine 69 me".
Not to say this is a bad album, but I remember liking this album more a few years ago. I guess my taste has changed. Definitely not their best (or my favorite) album by them, but a solid album in their discography.
2.5/5. This is some real subpar late 90s rock. It is really boring.
I didn't really get much from this. It's not bad, but I don't care for it.
I had to listen to this on YouTube, so maybe I didn't get the full "experience", but I did not enjoy this. I'm not the biggest fan of this type of music, and this album is no exception. I found it somewhat generic, and boring. There was a live performance of one of the songs from '87, and I actually (kind of) enjoyed that. But then again, live music is almost always better.
This is good. I didn't know what to expect coming into this, I've never heard of this guy. But I liked it.
Boring, generic, not for me. But I guess its about average.
4.5/5. I love this album. It comes from my favorite era of music, and is in my favorite style. While it is kind of out there, I still find it great.
Meh. Pretty boring but I was able to listen to it.
3.5/5. Pretty good considering one person did everything. I do think some of the songs can be a little plain, but others make up for it. Overall, this album is above average.
Really good. This might be one of my favorite albums from this list. Everything about it is great.
3.5/5. This is alright. I like his raspy voice in this album. It is a pretty relaxed album, and can drag on in some spots. Overall, I like this more than some of his other albums.
Every song on this album should be 1 minute, but the artist decided it was a good idea to loop it for 6 minutes. It was nice to hear a song from one of the Oceans movies though.
Not a fan of sonic youth. I don't get it. I mean, just looks at the album art.
Not that good. Just weird/bad instrumentals and vocals.
Meh. It's not bad, I just don't like it that much. It also kind of all sounds the same.
4.5/5. I like garage rock. Simple, nothing crazy going on, but good.
This was not easy to listen to. Man, I do not like this. Good to know that industrial rock is just as bad as it sounds.
This is the definition of average. Not bad, not good. I didn't have a good time listening to it, and I didn't have a bad time.
2.5/5. This is fine. Not the best I've heard from them, and kind of bland and boring as a whole.
I really wanted to like this more.
3.5/5. Pretty good. I think my only issue with this album is that it is kind of boring. There is nothing amazing happening here, and nothing I haven't heard before. But I enjoyed listening to it.
This is a great album. Defiantly in my top 4 albums by them.
3.5/5. Pretty good. Definitely not as good as their earlier stuff, or Rumors (can't beat that), but it's fine. I would be ok listening to this again, but I wont seek it out.
3.5/5. It's disco. So it's catchy and easy for me to listen to. Nothing amazing though.
This is... not good. At first, I could tolerate it, but then it kept going. There is just something about punk that I cannot stand.
3.5/5. Weird, but not bad. From an instrumental point, it's pretty good. From a musical point, its also pretty good. I don't think I would ever seek this out, but I have definitely heard worse albums on this list.
2.5/5. Did not really like this. I guess it's not bad, but it's pretty boring. Most of the songs sound the same.
This was fine, I didn't think its anything special. Take Me Out is a good one though.
Not really a fan. I've always heard people saying how good Prince is, but I don't really like it. Seems like a pretty average 80s album to me.
2.5/5. This music is strange. At times I get some Beach Boys sounds, but then some of their other songs are just not that good. Overall, this is fine, just a little boring for me.
Meh. I like this era/genre of music, so I didn't mind this. The lyrics were pretty repetitive, talking about the same thing. Overall, it wasn't bad, easy to listen to.
This is ok. Definitely a little strange, but better than I would have thought, considering the genre.
I liked this more than I thought I would. It's not my style, but I think it's good music.
This was not really for me. It wasn't bad, I just found it kind or boring.
I don't get this. It is bad. There are some parts where it's actually decent, but then I feel like the Artists intentionally make it bad. The instrumentals are fine, but with the lyrics on top of them, it becomes bad.
Eh, it's The Killers. I feel like this rock for trashy people. It's from this era of bad music, and it really does not age well. While the songs on this are not terrible, I don't think they're good. Even "Mr. Brightside" with over 1 billion streams on Spotify is not good.
2.5/5. This is different. The album cover is really something too. The only song on here I actually liked was Groove is in the Heart. I guess, at the end of the day, it's not bad.
3.5/5. This was fine. Some songs were good, others not so much. Overall, a little above average, but nothing amazing going on here. Something I did not expect to come out of 1989, sounds kind of like 2010s indie, so that was neat.
Pretty good. This is so simple, but so enjoyable. Solid album.
This was fine. DLZ, the song from Breaking Bad, was really the only song I enjoyed on here, but I think that's because I'm not a big fan of this type of music.
3.5/5. This was alright. Not bad, but nothing amazing.
No thank you. This album makes me hate music. The intro and outro tracks are stupid. It's a great representation for the rest of the album.
3.5/5. This was alright. Very heavy rock, but it's from a time where heavy rock is good.
3.5/.5 This was good, a little above average for me. It went by pretty fast after that 9 minute song. Nothing amazing going on here, but it's enjoyable.
Weird, not very good. But I didn't hate it.
This wasn't really good, but I think it's kind of artistic, which I can appreciate. I haven't heard much else like this, but that doesn't mean it's good.
Not his best album I've listened to. I thought this was about average, not anything amazing.
This is different for The Beach Boys, but it is good. The title track is one of my favorite by this group. Overall, a solid album.
I mean, it's jazz and it's Miles Davis. It's great.
This was good. I am not crazy about Neil Young (like some people), but I enjoyed this album. I would consider purchasing this since I can't stream it.
3.5/5. This was good, although I found that some songs dragged on a bit. But overall I enjoyed it.
3/5.5. This is definitely an AC/DC album. Honestly not bad, just not my favorite music to listen to.
This was fine. Very country/folk, so not my favorite.
3.5/5. This was good. Not my favorite Radiohead album, but good.
This was not that good. It is certainly more art than it is music. There were some songs that I liked, but others were just too out there for me.
3.5/5. This was fine, not really sure why it's on this list. I think this is not the groups best album, and I found it a little above average.
I did not find this that enjoyable to listen to. The songs did not really seem or sound a lot like music to me.
3.5/5. This was good, I had no issue listening to it. It was nothing mind blowing, but it is a solid album.
4.5/5. This is a really good album. Not much else to say.
4.5/5. Solid album, one of my favorites in my collection. Very enjoyable to listen to.
This was fine. I enjoyed listening to it, but I didn't think it was anything special.
I'm not a huge fan of the Pixies, but I actually thought this was alright. It's not my type of music, but I did not (overly) dislike this album.
3.5/5. This was good. Not may favorite by the group, but I enjoyed it.
I don't really get it, but it's not terrible.
4.5/5. Really enjoyed this. Eye Know is a great song, probably my favorite off this. There are some brief points in the album where it's a little weird for me, but I kind of like that. Overall, very good album (I wish it was streaming).
Not really into this. It sounds pretty generic. There is just something about this album that makes it sounds low effort.
Good. Very different than other Pink Floyd albums that I have listened to.
3.5/5. Good, bit not their best. This album certainly sounded like a debut album. I prefer Paranoid over this.
2.5/5. Some parts of this were good, but it feels pretty dated. I think this album does not need to be an hour long, 40 minutes would have been good.
2.5/5. This was not good, but I guess it could have been worse. I found most of the songs on this album stale and dated.
Really good, and really fun to listen to. All the live albums I've heard from Johnny Cash I like, this one included.
Not for me. "I'm English, I rap, and my phone sucks". That's what I got from this album. The rhymes here are decent, but the lyrics itself are confusing. At some points, this album makes me think this is a satire album. But he seems to take himself pretty seriously.
Weird, crazy, but very good. I found this album very enjoyable to listen to. Every song was great.
This was kind of boring. Overall it was fine, though. Nothing amazing, but I didn't mind listening to it.
Meh. I hate to be that guy, but I like his earlier stuff more. This was just average.
Not really into this. Weird club/soul music that is pretty boring.
Good. This would be a 5 if the last song wasn't so weird (and not that good).
Good, different. I thought this was slightly above average.
3.5/5. This is pretty solid. I enjoyed listening to this. There is not anything crazy going on here. Overall, a good album that I would not have an issue listening to again.
Solid. I liked this a lot. Not sure what else to say, it's good music.
3.5/5. It's Neil Young, so it's a bit above average, but overall fine.
This was fine. It's not really my type of music, but I had no problem listening to it.
This was fine. I enjoyed one of their other albums, Seventeen Seconds, more than this.
Only about half of this was available on Spotify, but I got the idea. This was fine, pretty 80s.
This was ok. I don't usually like punk, but this was fine. I wouldn't listen to it again, however.
3.5/5. This was decent. Nothing amazing, but I enjoyed listening to it.
I did not really like this. Kind of boring and then it gets a little weird/bad at some points.
This was fine. The instrumentals are nice, but the songs are pretty long. I get that this is more experimental.
I was not really into this. It was fine, but I didn't think it was good.
3.5/5. This was good. Pretty easy listening and enjoyable.
3.5/5. I liked this. I thought it was pretty good.
Only select songs were available on Spotify, but I got the idea. Not really for me.
This was alright. Very disco, which I kind of like.
Very good. One of my favorite albums to listen to.
I had to listen to this on YouTube, and the quality was not great. But I thought this was fine. I have not listened to music like this before, so it was new for me.
Not quite sure what this is, but I didn't really enjoy it. It's just a bunch or weird 80s sounds.
Good. Not all of it was streaming on Spotify, but I enjoyed the songs that were streaming.
Meh. Very 90s, so I'm not too into it. But , objectively, it's fine.
It's... artistic. I was not really a fan of this. I had a hard time listening to it at times.
3.5/5. Good. I found this easy to listen to, and I enjoyed it.
4..5/5. Good funky jazz. I like this one a lot.
The first half I did not mind, but then the second half really lost me. Frankie Teardrop I could not stand.
This was fine, I did not get much out of it.
