When an album starts out with a track that repeats ‘where time becomes a loop’ for nearly TWO MINUTES, you know you’re in for a banger of an album 🙄. Hot garbage.

I remember hearing Eyeless on the radio for the first time in the truck with my cousin and asking him if the drummer had 10 arms..close he said, six. My love affair with the band began that day and has continued since.

I very rarely dig the international albums. It’s just hard to discern the lyrics and meanings of the songs without speaking the language. From the opening track of Chan Chan, you can tell you are in for something special. I listened to the album twice today while hanging around the house and added it to my collection.

The last Sep album with the brothers Cavalera. What a run these guys had and one of the best metal bands of all time.

Look, I understand how popular she is and how she’s the new ‘queen of pop.’ That being said I’ve just never been able to connect with her songs at all. A very boring ‘meh’ album to me.
I received a notification a couple of weeks ago that I had rated my 900th album of 1001. I have never skipped an album or song no matter how bad it’s been. I’ve listened to German noise, spoken word, foreign language, mediocre British pop and everything else. I did not think the streak would be broken and by Springsteen nonetheless. This is like how 4th album on the list, he is incredibly boring and sucks and I saw it had a run time of nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes and I noped the fuck out.

When I first saw a three hour run time I was about to nope the fuck out but then I saw it was broken down into three 23 track albums so I listened to 1 a day. It’s at least listenable too but definitely an exercise in endurance.
