I mean... it’s The Wall. One of the greatest “modern” albums!
I’m not mad at it.
The album does ooze a little bit of pretension, but, having read the bands origin, I understand why.
I enjoy the vibe of this. Very folk. Almost jester-like. Get a little monotonous after awhile, but, pretty solid.
Like the vibe. You can tell it’s right at the turn of the 80s sound becoming what become grunge in the 90s.
One of the best albums of the 90s! I enjoy the smashing pumpkins.

This is a fun album! Kind of folksy, kind of artsy and experimental.
Kind of Jazz, kind of pop. I have a sad disconnect since I can’t understand what she’s singing. But, I like it.
Queen! It’s an earlier sound for them. Not quite the queen we know, but, very well done none the less.
Definitely heard this one. One of my favorites. Very cynical, and considered a sell out album by them, but, as a concept album/rock opera style, it’s great!
This Lady was special. You really feel it when she sings. Sad how things turned out for her. Would have been a bright career after this album.

Odd, but it has it moments.
I’m slowly realizing that a big part of the Beatles magic was the mix of their individual sounds together. Paul’s sound without John or George was great, but it was just missing something. This album further proves it. I think it’s the closest John sounded to his days in the Beatles... turns out George was on guitar for a lot of it... which, I think, is a huge reason why it’s as close as it is.
A 60s rock album in the 80s.... who knew?

I enjoy this. You can tell it was slated to be a S&G album but was transitioned after Garfunkel left the project. I miss his harmonies, but, it’s interesting to see the trace elements of S&G in there.
This is one of my favorite albums so far.
