1001 Albums Summary

I lost interest after a few songs. They all started to sound the same

Bland

Nice and mellow

Every song sounds the same. We get it, a girl broke your heart. Maybe this would be interesting if there were an arc to the album but it's non-stop blubbering. It seems to be an album designed for people who feel bad and want to sulk in that feeling...I don't see how this album can actually be enjoyed as a whole. It's just depressing, repetitive and boring. How much longer is this album and how many more times is he going to use that fluttering bullshit? I have to take a break. What a shit ending to a shit album. How many people killed themselves to this soundtrack? I wish I could give it zero stars

Smooth and mellow. I've heard several of the songs before on their own but they sound even better listening through the entire album.

Loved every song, but it's Bowie so... that's to be expected

It started out well but felt a little contrived by the end. I still enjoyed it though

I have heard covered versions of lots of these songs but didn't know that they could all be attributed to one band. It was good to hear the originals but the lead singer has a crutch on that woo scream and every single song

This guy is hard to get a read on. Sounds like Pink Floyd, Chicago, and what I imagine Randy Newman thinks he sounds like.

Really stupid shit. It's hard to believe that people want to listen to this and harder to believe that someone paid for it to be made
