Blue by Joni Mitchell

Respect to Joni Mitchell. Removed all her music from spotify to protest Joe Rogan and his purposeful spread of misinformation on masks and vaccines. I did have to listen to this on youtube, but it still is captivating. Favorite tracks are All I Want, California, and This Flight Tonight.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
May 06 2021

I used to know this for Mr. Blue Sky alone, but wow have I been missing out. This album isnt slept on, not every album is talked about for decades, but this one deserves it. Favorites : Turn to Stone, Birmingham Blues, Sweet is the night. Overall 7/10

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
May 07 2021

Not my type of music. Theres better and theres worse, but this falls short of my expectations. Favorite song(s) are Requiem and The Wait. This rating was scaled because its not my type of music, but I understand how other people could listen to it regularly.

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
May 10 2021

Excellent start to an album, very catchy and inspirational. Born in the U.S.A. was the perfect title track and is still my favorite song in the album. Cover me is a great song. Album is an 8/10.

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
May 11 2021

Not an album of many words, however the instruments and sounds used create an eerie and off-putting feel. This isnt the sort of music that I would put onto a playlist however I see some of the appeal. This album is a 4/10. Favorite song(s): Utopia

Gris Gris by Dr. John
May 14 2021

Good. More my style.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
May 18 2021

Much more my style. Great listen.

Kid A by Radiohead
May 21 2021

This album is constantly talked about as one of the greatest by Radiohead. Somewhat true. This album is great start to finish. I recommend it but you need to be exactly the right type for this. Some songs were a miss the first couple of times.

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Sep 28 2022

Older, rougher, deeper voice that doesn’t stand out to me. Everybody Knows was as far i got and the best song i listened to.

Sep 29 2022

Bangs. Pot Kettle Black, Jesus, Etc., and Heavy Metal Drummer are my top 3. Overall fine album

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Oct 03 2022

DLZ is my favorite track on here but this album will take another listen or two to get into it. Similar to RKS; overall good. Just listened to Lover’s Day and it is #2 on the album. Definitely a bottom heavy album according to me, but a fun project.

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Oct 04 2022

Similar sound to Jimi Hendrix and I like it. Songs dont overstay their welcome but they are similar sounding to each other. Good stepping stone for music, likely paved the way for artists.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Oct 05 2022

The album cover alone has significance to the reason this project all together. This album earned a spot in the top 100 metal albums of all time according to the Rolling Stones. This paved the way for modern metal and i loved it. It was my personal introduction to metal and i cant be more grateful. Favorite songs: Killing In The Name, Bullet In The Head, Township Rebellion, and Freedom.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Oct 06 2022

This was an EP and not an entire album, but it was still enjoyable to listen to and I really enjoyed it. Favorites are Cashing In, and Betray.

The Bends by Radiohead
Oct 07 2022

I love Radiohead.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Oct 10 2022

Another classic. Black Sabbaths “Paranoid” was another benchmark in history for music. Im not the biggest fan of metal, but this is an exception. Fr shoutout Black Sabbath. Favorite tracks: Paranoid, Iron Man, and I liked Hand of Doom & Jack the Stripper / Fairies Wear Boots more than I used to.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Oct 12 2022

Im not a huge fan of the beatles but I cant deny their influence

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Oct 13 2022

Favorite tracks are the last two, will need to relisten but i liked it overall

The Specials by The Specials
Oct 14 2022

I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Songs dont all bleed into one, and I like that. Favorite tracks on first listen; A Message to You Rudy, Do the Dog (pause), and Too Hot.

I was blown away by this album. I dont really like electronic music and was expecting something I wouldnt like but the songs were catchy and piqued my interest the more i listened. Favorite tracks on first listen: oh baby, emotional haircut, and change yr mind.
