This album is only mediocre. There is nothing particularly bad about it, conversely, there's nothing great either. It sort of fades into the background with no really memorable tracks. If it was a bit shorter it might have made more of an impact with some songs. Some songs felt like filler songs. Overall an OK album to listen to when doing something else but wouldn't be drawn back to it for any particular reason.

Dexys Midnight Runners
I figured that Dexys midnight runners were kind of a one-hit-wonder band. That was until I heard this album. This is a brilliant album that mix’s Celtic musical influences with soul and R&B. It is a really pleasant album to listen to. I particularly enjoyed 'Reminisce - Part 1' for its story like qualities and 'Jackie Wilson said' with its upbeat tune that’s catchy and very memorable. I feel like it’s a sort of 3.5 range so I’ll give it the benefit of doubt and round it up…

I wasn't a fan of rap before this and I certainly didn't leave this album with any more of a desire to explore the genre. I mean I enjoyed the 20-second intro which fades into the first song but after that, these songs just seem to be the same beat over and over. Would really listen again...

Steely Dan
Can’t buy a thrill was a very interesting album. I had never heard all but one song, reelin’ in the years. Most of the songs were very well written and keep you engaged. One of the main pros of this album is it’s only 40 minutes which leaves you wanting more. Not wishing it was shorter

Having never even heard of the stooges before, I began listening with an open mind. However, once the second song was finished, i realisd i had listened to their most played song and didn't even realised the song had changed... This album felt like the lyrics were there to bulk up the songs. We will fall especially highlights this, 10 minutes of random to make the album longer...

Eagles
This is an excellent if not epic album. 43 minutes of very emotive and powerful instrumentals and lyrics. I believe this to be the epitome of the eagles. Each song has a specific message that it conveys perfectly. I especially enjoy ‘life in the fast lane’ as it perfectly encapsulates the album's message of a rockstars life in the 70's. Every lyric of every song seems to have more than one face-value meaning. It is a masterpiece with excellent guitar, drums, vocals and piano. I also really like the album cover with its contrast between light and dark.

I’m not really a fan of metal music so I can’t really add much in terms of a review. I do feel that this is a fairly good album. There are no filler tracks and all the songs appear to be lyrically and instrumentally strong. However as I don’t really enjoy the genre, I don’t really think very highly of it. I did however enjoy ‘Armegeddon’.

Just miserable. Potentially the worst album I've ever heard. You start listening to this album and finish with your mind hurting from confusion. It's just gibberish and noise. This is just a brilliant album. To make an entrance like 'Good times, Bad times' is just unreal. However, I do feel like this album is really kept alive by Jimmy Page and his mind-blowingly good guitar skills. He is really what makes this album special. So many classics set a foundation for their style for many years afterwards.

Live 1966 (The Royal Albert Hall Concert)
Bob Dylan
There's no denying that this album has so many classic Dylan songs. I normally don't like live albums because I feel like the crowd is a bit noisy and the music isn't as good however, Bob did an excellent job of making this album more personal than a lot of other live albums. I mean can one give any less than 5 stars to Bob Dylan. This album perfectly encapsulates his ability with instruments and the lyrical genius that he is so well known for. I am a bit confused however as to why there is a bootleg album on this list, I feel like Dylan has many more albums which were original that deserve to be on here two than stretching for a bootleg one, but hey, it's a phenomenal album.

What can I say but that this is a brilliant album. I may e biased because I am a big fan of Radiohead but, from a musical appreciation standpoint, this album has no faults. It is written perfectly including only the best songs to make a concise and more polished album. The lyrics combined with the instrumentals is a beautiful thing to hear.

The Undertones
This is a new band for me. Although not usually my style, The Undertones have produced a fairly decent album. It is an upbeat, simple and enjoyable album. With so many songs on the album, however, towards the end, they become a bit muddled and you kind of forget that they are separate songs. A good album but sadly I feel a forgettable one too.

With this album, there is nothing great about it but conversely, there is nothing terrible either. As individual songs, they are not bad, chill jazz, background music basically. Pure random. This is a very odd album. There is no set style throughout. It just sounds like 15 different ‘writers’ came up with 15 different tracks.
