Not bad, but somewhat repetitive. Now it seems rather bland in terms of complexity. May have been more daring/exciting when it was released.
Very anger, much yelling! Some clever rhyming and strong protest vibes. The name definitely fits. Tones of energy and drive, but I don’t really like listening to it, it makes me feel yucky. LOTS of repetition to drive home what they want the audience to focus on.
The theme was almost all the same. Album was not very interesting. Fun extra instruments. Other works by him are more enjoyable. Not a fan of the vibrato.
Oddly mellow sound. Not bad as background music until you realize how depressing the lyrics are. LONG tracks. Poetic nature of lyrics is interesting, just wish it had a different focus.
Fun, upbeat, and easy to listen to. Nothing too daring or unique, but quite enjoyable.
Liked energy of drum/guitar/bass. Enjoyable to listen to, but questionable/superficial subject matter.
Pleasant to listen to.
Heavy synth was off putting at first, but after the initial system shock the album was enjoyable enough
Tons of energy and fun to listen to. Great rock and roll. Sad that the linked album is missing songs.
Much more mellow than expected. Enjoyed the orchestral aspect. Favorite tracks: Seven Seas Symphony and First of May.
Short album, but enjoyable. Liked the lyricalness of “Gimme Danger” contrasted with the rest of the album.
An album of cool, smooth tunes. Instrumental only, but that just makes it seem more effortlessly chill.
Fun album, good energy. Some strange musical choices here and there
Nice melody and guitar. Enjoyable to listen to. Cat’s voice and vibrato are not my favorite. Similar to Bob Dylan.
Not bad, lacking depth, but decent enough in the background. Lyrics tend to be somewhat inane (or disturbing, see chaining a girl to the wall).
Very 80s, but I’m ok rocking to the 80s. Good energy, catchy tunes, not too much synth.
Some enjoyable instrumental sections. Not a favorite, but not bad. I didn’t have time to properly focus on it.
Some fun songs, some annoying. Like the slice of life vignette concept and some of the execution of it.
Not bad. It’s funny how even as artists grow and change there can still be elements of their new work that sound just like what they did 10 or 20 years ago.
Guitar and vocals were enjoyable, but I’m not a fan of the saloon piano
Too much noise. Some nice guitar riffs fail to make it listenable.
Some very fun music, some very strange lyrics
