Exodus
Bob Marley & The WailersGreat album with some really incredible songs on it.
Great album with some really incredible songs on it.
Rubbish
Good album. Definitely not what i expected from an album titled "Fromohio" from 1989. Wasn't a big fan of "Liberty for our friend", only real song on the album that wasnt great. The singer was good, but god damn the guitar and drums really brought it here.
Some nice instrumental samples, pretty much all the vocal sample choices felt out of place. Overall the album feels best as background music
Final two songs saved it for me along with Eleanor Rigby. Rest of the album was pretty dissapointing
Copied their style from the beatles, copied their lyrics from Bob Dylan (and others). Not as good as either, not even close
Just hits from start to finish. Incredible samples, lyrics and just everything
First half of the album is great. Never heard Bjork before, her voice is really interesting. Didnt enjoy the 2nd half so much, and the mans singing was really odd. Interested to hear Bjorks later work.
Its like if the beatles didnt even try to be interesting or have ideas. The title song is incredible, just great. The rest is just very generic catchy rock that doesnt really say anything
Rubbish
Stressful music, not my style.
Im not a big ABBA fan, but i liked the first song. And on the info about the album this is apparently a large departure from their normal work, so i was excited. And then the rest of the album was standard ABBA, but without being as catchy as some of the bands best work
It was good, but i know theres such better work by Frank Sinatra that this feels somewhat of a let down after i saw it come up on the site.
Decent music, high energy. Everything sounds pretty much the same. Also feel like compilation albums shouldnt be on here as its kind of cheating, and not meant designed to be an album
Pretty good, very relaxing. Lacked a real stand out song imo
Excellent excellent album. Only listened to a very small amount of Joy Division before. What i learnt listening to this is that so many bands i like that came after Joy Division borrowed so much of their style. Just everything here is great. The singing, the heavy atmosphere. Just great
Not great, even with the title song being good. The rest of the album is just so flat and boring.
Really excellent album. Great songs start to almost finish (wasnt a fan of the final one) And it had the song from the hit movie The Batman featuring Robert Pattinson, so thats good.
Incredibly boring album, some decent guitar but thats about it.
Excellent album, the Bowie influence is super clear (not less than when you can actually hear him) but Iggys singing is also fantastic. And The Passenger is just an all time great song.
Boring, dull, tedious
This pretty much confirms my suspicion that Paul Simon is really good. And im going to blame all the bad parts of the album on the fact that Art Garfunkel thinks hes smarter than he is Voices of old people is just stupid.
I didn't like Elbow when i first heard them in 2008. In the intervening 15 years a lot of my music tastes have changed. So i was willing to give them another go. And let me tell you, after all that time, they still absolutely suck ass.
Real pleasant surprise, wasnt expecting to like this quite as much as i did. Just a great voice and nice calm music to listen to.
Good album. Definitely not what i expected from an album titled "Fromohio" from 1989. Wasn't a big fan of "Liberty for our friend", only real song on the album that wasnt great. The singer was good, but god damn the guitar and drums really brought it here.
Listened to this about 3 hours ago, already forgot almost everything. Just a completely forgettable and boring album.
Really good album. As a huge fan of Gorillaz this felt similar to it. Also the album art is fantastic.
Pretty bland, not really my style
Pretty boring album, not what i expected from the Bee Gees.
Just over 20 albums in and this is easily the best one I've had so far. Incredible album top to bottom. Feel people dont realise how good a musician Ozzy was considering he might be more known for reality tv now. But hes excellent here. Ended up spending my entire day listening to Black Sabbaths entire discography and it was great
Very bland
Pretty good, very relaxing and she has a great voice.
1/5 why on earth is this even on this list at all
Really great album.
Good first 3 songs, guess they hoped those songs alone would sell the album because after that it gets reall bad real quick
Good album, bit too repetitive. Some really good songs though.
Not such a fan of this as i am their later work. Theres signs of something to come, but just a bland album of some good blues covers
Not his best work, not a fan of the synth
Interesting album cover. Uninteresting music
Not my favourite radiohead album ,but not the worst album ive ever heard
Really interesting, not a band id heard before but a real cool sound.
Even a bad led zeppelin album is a great album, and this is far from a bad one. I got into Led Zeppelin from my dad, and this album has both his favourite and my favourite Led Zeppelin song in Gallows Pole and Tangerine. Also this managed to avoid any of the weirder songs they did when they sing about battles vs elves and shit.
Great voice, kinda boring songs
Ive never really listened to Metallica before, i guess i was maybe expecting more? This was pretty decent, just nothing amazing.
This is a great great album. I think if all Radiohead sounded like this theyd be a lot more popular, but a lot less interesting overall
Great album with some really incredible songs on it.
Very tame album considering what i usually expect from the kinks. Felt more like a beatles ripoff than anything else. Sunny Afternoon is good though
The writing is good, the percussion is good, but the reality is Bowie just cannot perform vocally on this album, which means too much is just using instruments to fill time. I understand that theres reasons for why he cant perform. But it just makes the album unlistenable for me, also Blackstar the song is just terrible.
A good album without being great, signs of whats to come from the band. Good Times Bad Times and Dazed and Confused are mega hits and deservedly so.
Incredibly tedious boring and uninteresting. Longest 35 minutes of my life. If it wasn't for the Watchmen movie no one would know who Leonard Cohen is.
Just a really bland and boring version of what a lot of bands at the time sounded like. Nothing really unique or interesting to say about it.
Can't believe they managed to ruin their own songs by just refusing to move on after playing it for 7 minutes.
Super generic at best, boring at worst.
Just pure bangers
Not their best work but still decent.
Not a bad album, just doesnt live up to the classics.
I dont normally like this kind of music too much, this was a really great surprise. Very enjoyable album
Great instrument playing, bit repetitive, kinda boring by the end.
Not a fan
Really enjoyable
The amount of listens each song has on spotify explains a lot of this album. Pretty bland aside from dont you want me.
Very weird mix of music, feel like its an album by two different bands. I do love White Rabbit a lot though, so that's always great to listen to.
Good album. Not a fan of a song being 10 minutes long, but at least its a good song.
Really good, more than just a one band wonder with White Stripes.
Really enjoyable. Did not expect to enjoy this so much based on the album art and decade.
Pretty good, Master of Puppets (the song) was a banger. Rest is a little average.
