pretty solid album thanks jeff beck & co.
pretty good overall with some great singles. a+ instrumentals. not a shocker that this is one of the things that propelled guitarpop back into UK charts
play that new orleans r&b psychedelia fusion white boy
really is such a great album and a folk rock all time classic
beautiful lyrics but ultimately a little boring
best way i can describe this is that it feels like if an Orc tried making stadium music
some of the best riffs in history. if any glam metal/hard rock album from this era kicks ass its this
doesn’t incorporate any of its wide array of musical elements in an interesting way at all. pretty underwhelming. feels like it would be the soundtrack to a movie called Mr. Gaborium’s Cannaborium Emporium
not super familiar with post punk outside the UK but i was fairly surprised that i hadnt heard of this before since i thought it was great. i liked the sketchy tone and lyricism
its just good!
if “we live in a society” was made into an hourlong musical number. like a lot of the riffs and instrumental but its nothing spectacular compared to their earlier work
i can appreciate how layered it is but i just couldnt find it that interesting. sounds like something that would play at the salty spitoon
now i can say i know a song that isnt come on eileen and rightfully so because every song from instrumentals to vocals was just great
not my favorite jazz rock band in the world but this album deserves some credit. not terrible at all though i thought the first half was stronger than the second
wasn’t terrible but better left as an experimental phase. naturally what happens when a white boy who only does glam rock tries to dabble in soul r&b
i thought this was pretty alright. ambience and atmosphere feels coherent for what its going for but i just wasnt hooked
i liked how the funk/psychedelic sound in this one. it was relatively fun and pretty solid for a hard rock number. loved the guitar from the solos to the riffs sprinkled throughout
do not understand the hype whatsoever. you see the amount of accolades it has and you expect something a little interesting but it was just so unbelievably stale and mediocre
both albums are incredibly rich every song feels textured rhythmically and it was just really fun overall. one of the best maybe ever
although i prefer lady soul cause this ones a little less versatile its still a great collection of songs and you just cant go wrong with aretha
i actually ended up liking this more than i thought i would. distortion and tribal drums for a country album made for a really unique alternative sound
actual genuine masterpiece
its just okay
probably one of the best live albums ever recorded
a little boring although i did enjoy a couple songs
prog rock is such a funny ass genre
his vocal cadence always reminded me of a child trying to explain his crayon drawing to a group of adults
can’t go wrong with signature early 2000s kanye production
this shit is ass… literally!
distant loveeeeeerr ouuuhhiooouuuuh
its just okay
to quote a tweet by user perma___ben: Thinking about how much I hate the band The Black Keys because they gave us another generation of Rock n Roll guys and all their music is good for is playing during the climax of a Red Lobster commercial when they pour liquid butter over a pile of endless shrimp in slow motion
boring
i wonder if this is what theatre music sounds like to people who don’t know what theatre music sounds like
pretty good
like a solid 2.5
