Station To Station
David Bowie5/5, would listen to again
5/5, would listen to again
Not as good as Station to Station, in my opinion, but still a very, very good album
Has a lot of bangers. I’ve heard some songs off this album before, but some I’ve never heard before. They’re all very good though.
Really talented singer. I usually don't listen to a lot of jazz, but this was really beautiful music.
I really like this album
Really good blues, but it’s not always my favourite genre
I like The Cure, but I don’t think this is my favourite album of theirs. Definitely has 80’s vibes
Interesting style, not something I would usually listen to
I like this earlier stuff more than I thought I would. It’s definitely interesting, but it feels like they’re still trying to find their sound here.
Solid album. I’ve always liked the Gorillaz, but I haven’t heard most of the songs off this album before. I do prefer their more recent stuff. 4/5
Stillness is the Move is one of my favourite songs, but I’ve never listened to the other songs on this album. I really like the unique sound of the whole album, I’ll definitely be revisiting this album. 5/5
I liked this about as much as I thought I would: it’s obviously a classic and has some really great tracks, but I feel like I have to be in the right mood for it. It’s not something I would normally listen to. 3 or 4/5
Funk and Motown music, feels like the kind of thing that would be on Soul Train. It’s definitely fun to listen to, but there’s a lot of interlude and talking. It does grow on you over time, though 3/5
Has some iconic songs, it’s a fun album. Needs more Run DMC, though. 4/5
Mellow and quiet rock, not really my thing. 2/5
It’s Bowie so it’s always gonna be good, but this feels less memorable than some of his other albums. 4/5
I can see the appeal, but this isn’t for me. When it comes to hard rock, I think I prefer stuff that’s more melodic. 2/5
This is probably one of my favourite albums. It’s got interesting variation, good vocals, and a lot of bangers. Easy 5/5
Nice vibes, very chill. I’ve never listened to them before, but I might start now! 4/5
Solid album, but didn’t have a lot of songs that really stood out to me. I didn’t mind it, but I couldn’t see myself coming back to this album a lot. 3/5
It’s a fun rock album with jazz influence. I usually don’t like songs that are very instrumental, but this was interesting to listen to. 4/5
Not my favourite genre of rock, but a solid album. Iggy Pop has a unique voice that makes the album interesting. 3/5
I completely forgot this album existed, I listened to it a lot as a kid. Bittersweet Symphony is one of my favourite songs. The rest of the album is less memorable, but still good. 4/5
Solid band, solid album. Great variation in songs, distinctive sound, overall a bop. 5/5
I like this album a bit better than the one from yesterday, it’s got some catchy songs. I’ll definitely be revisiting this album. 5/5
Solid indie band, they remind me a bit of Arctic Monkeys. I remember one of the songs from high school. I like their style, but some songs sound similar to me. 4/5
Not quite my cup of tea, it gets kinda gospel-y. It definitely feels very 70s, which is kinda fun, but I’m not a fan of this particular style. 2/5
I really like this album. It’s good rock with well done blues influences. I think this isn’t quite the genre for me, but I do like the blues and folk influences. 4/5
In my opinion, one of the most recognisable and influential hip hop albums of the 21st century. Also one of my personal favourites and my favourite Kanye West album. 5/5 DISCLAIMER: Fuck Kanye West and everything he stands for today.
It’s aight. 3/5
This whole album is incredibly 80’s, in a good way. Distinctive sound and fun to listen to. 4/5
Im a bit biased because I don’t like the Beatles, but there were some catchy songs on this album. It was kinda fun, just not really my cup of tea. 3/5
Very 60’s. I was never a huge fan of the Beach Boys, but this was alright. Probably won’t be coming back to this album. 2/5
I enjoyed this album more than I thought I would! I think it was fun and interesting to listen to, it’s got a very unique sound. 4/5
The best way I can describe this is instrumental experimental electronic jazz. I was surprised that I kinda liked it. It was strange, but also fun and nice background music. 3/5
It was alright, I don’t have many strong feelings about this album. I don’t think I’ll be listening to it again. 2/5
I liked this. It was my first time hearing this album, so it was interesting to hear early Jay Z. Not my favourite hip hop album, but still good stuff. 4/5
It’s an interesting album with a very distinctive sound. Not my cup of tea, but it’s alright. 3/5
Very 60’s, kinda fun, but somewhat low energy and not something I enjoyed a whole lot. 2/5
I liked this album more than I thought I would. It had some fun songs and some more serious, somber ones. 4/5
It was alright. Not exactly a gripping album, but good easy listening music. 3/5
Fun, not a bad album. 3/5
Pretty fun, very funk and gospel. Definitely a talented singer, just not my cup of tea. 3/5
Good instrumental background music. Fun to listen to, but not too distracting. 4/5
Nice album with good vibes. Not my favourite genre in the world, but still alright. 3/5
I’m not a country fan, but this album slaps. I could definitely see myself listening to more from this artist. 4/5
Underwhelming, not really a standout album. Some unique instrumental parts, but nothing too interesting. 2/5
I really like this album. It feels very much like 90’s rap (because it is). I feel like I’d have to be in the mood for it, but it’s good. 4/5
Solid synth-pop/new wave album. Easy listening and over all a fun album. 4/5
I really like this album. Good indie rock and some very catchy songs. 5/5
I liked this album. It was relatively relaxed, but I didn’t mind that. I like his vocal style. 4/5
Some songs were a bit out there, but overall, it was an alright album. 3/5
Some good funk music, fun album overall. 4/5
I never knew that “space rock” was a genre, but I like it. It’s a bit slow-moving, but it’s got a nice ethereal vibe. 4/5
Can’t go wrong with Miles Davis. 5/5
I'm a fan, this is a really good album. Definitely melancholy, but its a vibe. 5/5
Great album. Iconic songs, I'll definitely be coming back to this album. 5/5
Nice jazzy album, but too low energy for my liking. 2/5
Not bad! Its a fun, old French album recorded live and keeps my interest throughout. 4/5
I really like Leonard Cohen, so this is a solid album for me. 5/5
I really like this, it’s a good punk band. I’ve never heard of them before, but I definitely wanna check out more music from them. 5/5
Really great, love the complimentary and harmonising vocals. Not really high energy though. 4/5
One of my favourite albums from this list that I haven’t heard before. I really like it, it reminds me a bit of Moby. 5/5
Not bad, but not my cup of tea. 3/5
Very country. It’s definitely better than modern pop-country, but still not the kind of thing I really enjoy. 2/5
Ella Fitzgerald is always gonna slap. 5/5
Fun album, it feels like very melodic metal. 4/5
Really good soul/funk, especially considering that it was made in 1969. 3/5
Psychedelic, funky, interesting rock. Kept me interested, but sometimes went on for a while. 3/5
Nice, soothing jazz. Good background music. 4/5
