Popular Reviews

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Some good singles, including the smash hit "Where the Wild Roses Grow" and "Henry Lee" with PJ Harvey. "The Curse of Millhaven" was also a familiar tune. Didn't care much for the rest of the album. Will stick with the singles.

not available on YouTube music, only full length YouTube video good album favorite track: \"Secretly\"

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Oct 27 2023

I was expecting something more similar to Deja Vu, but this feels more bluesy and rock-n-roll like. None of the tracks really stood out on first listen. Might revisit at some point, but I'm not counting on it.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Oct 30 2023

Title song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Traveling Man is pretty good too. This album was easy to listen to and really shows off Dolly Parton's talents.

Rings Around The World by Super Furry Animals
Nov 01 2023

First time listening to Super Furry Animals. There is a lot going on, but I could tell pretty quickly this is not the type of music I tend to enjoy. Tried "Radiator" as well and enjoyed it a bit more. Might revisit at some point.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nov 02 2023

Some good singles, including the smash hit "Where the Wild Roses Grow" and "Henry Lee" with PJ Harvey. "The Curse of Millhaven" was also a familiar tune. Didn't care much for the rest of the album. Will stick with the singles.

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
Nov 03 2023

meh. Never really listened to The Byrds before, and this didn't entice me to start.

Bad Company by Bad Company
Nov 05 2023

Decent rock-'n-roll record, real old school. Gets a bit old after a while, don't think I'll be coming back to it.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Nov 09 2023

I see Nick Drake, I give 5 stars

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Nov 10 2023

"Goddess on a Hiway" is still a fantastic song after 25 years. "Holes" and "Tonite It Shows" are excellent as well. Don't much care for some of the other tracks, making it hard to listen to the album as a whole.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Nov 20 2023

Best Nick Drake album in my opinion. Highlights: "At the Chime of a City Clock", "One of These Things First", "Hazey Jan II".
