My first foray into the Tom Waits discography and one of my favorites. It's not very similar to much of what he's known for and it's love but it just has this dingy, smoke-filled diner story of feel to it and you can almost smell the bourbon on his breath.
First listened to this album back in high school when I was 15. Been a fan since. Learned the title track in guitar before graduation.
Classic rock from start to finish. Their cover of Grapevine is great, love the jam at the end.
All around decent album, not exactly my genre but there are plenty of recognizable tunes and that iconic voice is undeniably fantastic.
A lot of songs about love. Mostly a guy asking a girl to give him her love. I get that there is some cultural/historic context that I'm missing that would make this album feel more significant but on it's face this a pretty 'meh' collection of music. Probably more appreciated by people who feel nostalgia for the times...
Not my cup of tea. Some interesting tunes but I'm not big on the drum and bass though.
Brought me back to the early 00's.
Solid classic metal album
One of my all time favorite albums. This is a banger from start to finish, not a bad song on it.
Gonna set this one aside for the right time to give it a proper listen
Great jazz album. Jaco is the man
Not too shabby! This one is going into the rotation
Dolly Parton is one of the greatest country music stars of all time. Her song lyrics have real meaning, they're catchy as can be and she's a woman with true integrity that she's maintained for over 7 decades of her life. Long live the queen!
Unreal how Pearl Jam came out of the gates with this album. It's full of hits everyone knows and the songs are unique and a creative in a way that wasn't done before. Another album that is just incredible from start to finish.
A classic album by the great godfathers of metal music. This one is full of bangers back to back.
One of the best albums (debatable, I know) by one of my favourite bands. This album is full of complex masterpieces that are weird, exciting and vibrant.
Good classic rock album
Classic album for a reason. Still as good as the first time I heard this
Not bad, kinda like a female Nick Cave

All over the place and I'm here for it. Glad I took the time to give it a listen!
