Blackstar by David Bowie

David says goodbye. It is emotionally a really tough album. Its sad. Its a goodbye. Personally, its too heavy to normally listen to, but it is an important album. I appreciate it.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Oct 06 2023

This was really fun to listen to, and a great experience! I really liked it and the festival experience really makes it so much fun. I walk the line is my favourite.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Oct 09 2023

I don't know what it was with me but I just couldn't focus on it all too well. Some songs are bangers while others were just too long and just seemed filler. My Sweet Lord is the only song I already knew and its pretty good but besides that idk. I did like the overall vibes but *it's just too long*

Cross by Justice
Oct 10 2023

Genisis: Funky song, unlike anything I've listened to before, quite interesting! It does have a very good tune. I like this! Let There Be Light: Interesting, not sure I like the constant electrical sound bit or its solo but it isn't bad for sure. Bit busy. Did like the ending though! D.A.N.C.E: Very interesting! Pretty catchy somehow, fancy! Do the dancee! Newjack: Uhm what, this one's a bit weird. No real rythym to be found here. Last part of the song has somewhat of a rythym but still confusing. Phantom: Had to turn the volume down for this one. It's LOUDD. Phantom II: Probably my most liked song from this album? It's a great tune The Party: Not entirely my vibe this one... DNVO: This is good stuff, kind of trance like. Stress: My stress levels literally went up with this one. Waters of Nazareth: Interesting name this, funky tune tho. One Minute to Midnight: Honestly not a bad tune, actually a vibe. Name reminds me of the impending doom of humans but the song itself is just good tbh. Overall: Way better than previous album as I definitely wasn't bored while listening to it. Quite a different style but it was pretty good stuff.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Oct 11 2023

It was okay, didn't really fit the vibe of the day so that probably makes me a bit biased

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Oct 12 2023

What an amazing album, I think I listened to it four times! Such a powerful voice. Wild Is The Wind is my favourite. Five stars from me, because I loved it.

Medúlla by Björk
Oct 13 2023

Björk's album "Medúlla" offers a diverse musical journey that ranges from moments of pure pleasure, funky sounds, and unique originality to perplexing experimentation. "Pleasure is all mine" delights the senses, "Where is the line" grooves with funky beats, and "Oll Birtan" stands out with its captivating acapella. "Who Is It" impresses with its cool sound, while "Ancestors" is a peculiar yet unforgettable experience. "Triumph of the heart" closes the album on a funky note, making "Medúlla" an intriguing and unconventional musical adventure. (Written partly by ChatGPT)

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Oct 16 2023

Listened to this while walking and it works a vibe, very good stuff.

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Oct 17 2023

I love Leonard Cohen. Five stars. He's great. I could listen to him for hours and I have; I listened to it three times today. The last song is someone stubbing their toe in a musical way for the last minute and in the end it gets too bad and he's just screaming lol

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Oct 18 2023

Okay I like the guy, but back to back gets a little much. Still good songs! but not "Diamonds in the Mine" though, I didn't like that. Man was just screaming. But Joan of Arc was good so that compensates again.

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Oct 19 2023

Jazzy I think, but not entire my vibe. Seemed a bit to similar to eachother and stuff idk.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Oct 23 2023

Oct 31 2023

No. Not for me. Got waay too repetitive

Nov 03 2023

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Nov 06 2023

Literally got headache, may be my own fault but I *do not* have the energy for this one at the moment. It's also very very similar and LONGG.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Nov 07 2023

Finally a decent album. Liked Bluebird best.

21 by Adele
Nov 08 2023

I've listened to this album more than 38 times, already, I love it. Lovesong or Someone Like You is my favourite.

Hms Fable by Shack
Nov 10 2023

I expected absolute trash, but surprisingly, its pretty chill! Captains Table is my fav.

Nov 14 2023

This album is good, I knew some songs on it already but the others didn't disappoint either. Gud stuff!

Nov 15 2023

spotify doesn't have the entire thing, which is ig a bit sad, cuz I was into the mood for something groovy. Either way, it's pretty okay.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Nov 17 2023

it medium. Mr Brightside is p okay. the rest is p medium.

Fragile by Yes
Nov 20 2023

hey i know the first song, its a meme song! The rest of the album is okay, didn't dislike it, didn't completely vibe on it either.

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Nov 21 2023

pretty groovy, fun vibes! pretty worthy of four stars. Dirty Work is my favourite one from here.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Nov 22 2023

This album feels like a bunch of different styles put together in one. What. Idk how I feel about that. They're okay songs ig, so three stars. Favourite song is "You Don't Own Me".

Blur by Blur
Nov 23 2023

Hmmmm questionable. Bit too much for me. definitely not my style oops. Some songs are okay but medium. Most bearable song: Theme From the Retro

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Nov 24 2023

A Bridge Over Troubled Water; the song is pretty good, the album is okay. Further songs I liked; Cecilia (pretty weird lyrics ngl) and The Boxer (my fav).

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jan 09 2024

Iron Man and War Pigs were cool songs, not much else to say abt it. Quite liked it, would give 3.4 stars if i could, but that has to be three then!

Jan 10 2024

Scientist and Clocks I knew already. Clocks is probably my favourite. Besides that it was just a bit too long. If it was more compact i would've given it 4 stars.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jan 11 2024

Can barely make out the lyrics at times, bit sad. Didn't really like it either.

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Jan 12 2024

Good vibes, pretty chill. Not much special.

1984 by Van Halen
Jan 15 2024

Knew "Jump" obviously, thats quite a banger. Panama is okay too, the rest is medium.

Is This It by The Strokes
Jan 16 2024

First track is 99% ASMR. Thats about all I got for this album, not much to talk about. Its artistic for sure.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Jan 17 2024

No. Thanks. First song is just talking in a seducing voice. Then it doesn't get much better when he sings.

Picture Book by Simply Red
Jan 18 2024

Pretty chill one. I think I knew a few of these songs already, vaguely.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jan 19 2024

Definitely interesting. Rap is definitely not my style but its funky.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Jan 23 2024

It's decent. Not amazing. I do appreciate the lyrics tho I guess. It does tell a story.

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jan 24 2024

Nah, not my vibe. Maps is probably the most bearable song of it all I think? They just all sound the same tbh.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jan 29 2024

Sometimes good, sometimes medium. Piece of my heart is definitely the best one.

S&M by Metallica
Jan 30 2024

2 hours and 13 minutes. What the hell. The Ecstacy Of Gold was cool. Besides that meh.

What's That Noise? by Coldcut
Jan 31 2024

Innovative for 1989, but sounds like a chaotic headache today. Too long, too all over the place, too much like the work of a student in 2002. Not for me.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Feb 01 2024

This one was interesting. Its nice and calm. Churchy vibe did kinda pull it down. And it was kinda samey. Good vibes tho. 3.5/5.1.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Feb 02 2024

Talking book was a pretty good album. Most songs however, were insignificant or annoying, but it had a couple bangers that made it pretty darn good. Superstition is just great. You've got it bad girl was pretty nice too.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jan 28 2026

A flaming album that works surprisingly well for deep focus work. The production creates a massive wall of sound that fuels productivity, but the songwriting is intense enough to occasionally break your concentration, in a good way. The pipe organ man. Damn. Highlights: "Black Wave": The favourite. Or maybe it was the next one? Either way, I really noticed it. "My Body Is A Cage": Damn! The massive drop and pipe organ left me no choice but to "stop and appreciate" while coding.

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Jan 29 2026

Well, to be honest, I wasn't really feeling it. Some of it was a "drunken ballad" and some of it was pretty decent. Jersey Girl was pretty good.

Jan 30 2026

It's something. Look, I like the culture, and he does have a nice voice, but I wouldn't call it "Modern" anymore. The choir cuts through my head. I'm not a giant fan.

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 02 2026

Its rock! It seems to be the inventor of that rock sound (according to some stuff) either way, its a lot. Some stuff is great (Disarm) other stuff is just a bit much ey?

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 06 2026

Little too psychedelic for me, but still some good rock here n there. It has quality.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Feb 09 2026

Ah yeah. Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin. I mean, this history isn't it? It contains some bangers. Good Times Bad Times. Some songs in here were like whaaaaaaaawhaaaaaaaaa. Some songs were good times. It is well produced though, and does contain some good stuffs.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Feb 10 2026

Its a little creepy, the story and the wandering man. The music is sometimes weird too. Interestingly it is decent to listen to.

Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Feb 12 2026

The power of love is great! Relax is also a good song. The rest is kinda too trippy for me. The two i mentioned before do help tho, so 3/5

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Feb 13 2026

I found this pretty darn chill and easy to listen to, and it was nice after a busy week. Somehow 4/5 stars.

Hotel California by Eagles
Feb 17 2026

Hotel California is just one of the best albums ever created, and the song of the same name is just one of the best songs ever created. I think this album doesn't have (m)any imperfections, from an objective standpoint. I like it.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Feb 18 2026

David says goodbye. It is emotionally a really tough album. Its sad. Its a goodbye. Personally, its too heavy to normally listen to, but it is an important album. I appreciate it.

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Feb 19 2026

Its a vibe, sometimes. Listened to this on a run and it didnt annoy me. Its not terrible but not amazing.

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Feb 20 2026

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit sounds like a computer drug orgy. It sounds like an African computer church full of songs. It sounds like dark computer chemistry. Interesting, gets you in some sort of trance, but its too weird for me personally. 2.5/5.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Feb 23 2026

Its old, isnt it. Just background music. Does vibe as that though. Good voice.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Feb 24 2026

Actually pretty darn good. I liked it. Only later I realised it was Simon from Simon and Garfunkel. Its a good album and it has good tunes.

Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi
Feb 25 2026

It has the significant bangers, but aside those, its not extremely amazing. Those bangers do make up for it though!

Achtung Baby by U2
Feb 26 2026

One is amazing, the rest is a little too calm for my taste. It isnt annoying though. And the music is pretty alright.

Disintegration by The Cure
Feb 27 2026

Literally panic attack inducing. Not my moment. No thanks. The music is high quality ish tho so.

Mar 02 2026

Pretty ait. Good tunes. Decent! Nothing bad to note and the music is just generally high quality.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Mar 03 2026

Yeah no. Its interesting, but... not of this time. Intro starts with a birth, then an argument, then a train robbery? What?

Risque by CHIC
Mar 04 2026

Yes. Risqué. Its fun! It has good songs. It has okay songs.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Mar 05 2026

It is rock. Not terrible stuff, nothing remarkable imo.

Kid A by Radiohead
Mar 06 2026

Kid A is hard to rate. Some bangers, some annoying stuff. This is like HiFi audio. Its weird. But i want to like it, but i dont _really_ like it. 3/5

The Next Day by David Bowie
Mar 09 2026

David Bowie once again with the drugged music. Idk what i think of it. You will set the world on fire was indeed fire. Rest was psychedelica shit. 3.5/5

Tapestry by Carole King
Mar 11 2026

I just cant get a read on this album. I dont know what to give it. There are some good tunes here. You just call, out my name, and you'll know, whereever I am, ill come running and running... nah that stuff is catchy. I like that.

Mar 12 2026

Its good. Hurt is amazing. The take on bridge over troubled water is interesting. Many good songs. Some great songs. Your own personal Jesus? Interesting proposition. I miss the energy of san quentin, which earned it a 5/5 last time Cash came along.

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Mar 13 2026

Not for me.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Mar 16 2026

It a funky one. Good tunes here n there, fancy lyrics, but not extremely notable?

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Mar 17 2026

This is easy to listen to, and just a vibe. Good tunes!

2112 by Rush
Mar 19 2026

Too sharp for me and 20 minutes for the first song only? Wtf. I mean it works if it sounds nice but this is just a mashup or something.

Diamond Life by Sade
Mar 23 2026

Easy going and nice tunes. Smoooooth operatooor. 3.5/5
