Physical Graffiti
Led ZeppelinVery classic rock. Has some really cool tracks (which are widely known), but not everything is to my liking.
Very classic rock. Has some really cool tracks (which are widely known), but not everything is to my liking.
Rather boring. "Tom Sawyer" has over 100mil listens on Spotify and it doesn't move me at all.
Boring. I never understood why people call Bowie a genius, but that is probably due to the time I live in.
While the album is very well produced, Kanye West has an annoying voice and some of the avant-garde samples are very repetitive and make my ears bleed. The song "POWER" has nearly a billion listens but I got so annoyed by the background sample that I stopped it halfway. The song "All of the lights" is the most melodic, the song "Monster" has a very cool vibe.
Jazz on an album is always an underperformance. But I really enjoyed this one.
It took six albums to encounter one that I knew and saved in my Spotify albums. I truly love the first track, which is a masterpiece, but the rest is mediocre.
Very raw indeed. Very loud, but contains some very cool songs.
Finally, some melodic rock. However, every song sounds the same.
Besides "Trainspotting", this was horrible.
So yeah, this is a classic rock album. Very crisp performance, but for a millennial like me, these songs are boring.
Awesome album, very funky. Would play in cocktail bars, at the start of a party, during dinner with friends.
Throw Anne Clark, Daughter and Florence & The Machine in a blender, and this is what comes out. Although some tracks stand out (The Architect, HAK) it's a rather bland album.
A very bad mix of QOTSA, Rage Against The Machine, P.O.D. and Papa Roach. A VERY bad mix.
Simply brilliant. Not complex, but a joy to the ear from start to end.
Downright horrible. It's out of tune, the songs are bland, the lyrics are mellow. I'd have guessed this is peak poprock, but Aimee Mann was a decade earlier.
I mean, it's not bad, but besides their superhit, it's rather bland. Feels like early 90s (hard) rock.
I've known this album for years, and only listen to it occasionally. However, this album contains some masterpieces (even lesser known ones).
My bloody ears. Who tf listens to this.
Everybody knows Santa's biggest hits, but I never listened to this full album. It's absolutely amazing. One must wonder why I haven't before!
I was a teenager when this album was popular, and considered it to mainstraim to get into it (I was a contrarian cool kid). However, this album has some amazing songs and lyrics. On top, it is extremely well produced, without eliminating the vintage atmosphere that Amy Winehouse radiates.
Rather bland.
Has some really cool (and famous) tracks. However, not all is gold, and some songs are downright weird.
Very meh.
It doesn't get more 90s than Alanis Morisette. Actually, I only knew "Hand in my pocket". Finally got to know the other songs, which are some mediocre pop-rock songs. Her voice is very recognizable, so take that away and they could've been P!nk or Avril Lavigne songs.
This is a cool live album, with some lesser known "The Who" songs. However, sound quality is horrible and the "rape" jokes are very not adjusted to today.
This guy has the most annoying voice in the world.
I understand that grunge was popular those days, but while Nirvana is from out of this world, this is mostly annoying.
"Archives of pain" has a sick guitar solo. "Revol" is an earworm. A blend of various rock subgenres. Amazing album in general.
Amazing album. It's a pity I didn't give this a chance earlier.
Damnit, what a funky album. Really into "I want to take you higher" and "everyday people".
The song "Blue Turk" is absolutely stunning: organs, trumpets, clear and in-tune singing. Very well produced. Gives me a "Doors" feeling. For the rest, many shouty, badly produced, early punk.
Luckily, she sings well, and it has some catchy guitar tunes. But this is some very cringy early-nineties indie country.
Very enjoyable jazz. The kind that can be played in a bar, an elevator, a restaurant, at home, during work, at an after-work, etc. Many songs would be perfect for a Leonardo Di Caprio movie with him picturing some random rich guy in the gay twenties.
Doesn't do much to me. It sounds a lot like Bowie, and I don't like Bowie.
Luckily it has "Waterloo Sunset", because the rest of this album is a like the Beatles having a hangover Monday.
The first song is probably where Enigma got his inspiration for "Principles of Lust". For crying out loud, what a horrible album.
Contains some masterpieces, and I see why they were amazing in their time. But now, the whole indie scene is saturated with this.
Awesome expertimental album.
My ears bleed.
Basically every song sounds the same. Contains some cool riffs though.
Awesome live album, great tracks, very crisp too
An incredible album. Who could've known that shouting in the micro with hard guitars could produce such a melodious experience.
I was a teenager when this record was popular. Contains some timeless songs, and for some reason I even got to appreciate the song "Kim". Nevertheless, some very cringy quotes, and simply annoying songs.
Pretty fkin boring.
I've never been a fan of Sufjan Stevens, it's too "soft" and the songs know no climax. There's so much you can do with a mandoline. Yet, for Sufjan, it only makes his songs more mellow.
I'm ashamed I've never given this album a chance before.
This album contains some interesting tracks, and it's clear that the artist is a prolific rapper. But there's also shit tracks and too many skids.
Brilliant album. As a Belgian (where country music is non-existent) I always had this weird attraction to Dolly Parton's music.
I've come to listen to this album quite a lot, especially when driving. I never knew sitar could be so funky. Nevertheless, it's very gimmicky. After a couple of songs you're good for a couple of days.
Poor production, annoying voice, really gave me a headache.
I know Anthrax from Tony Hawk Pro Skater, only a couple of songs. This album contains some metal songs that are truly on par with Metallica.
Contains some legendary tracks!
Dang, what a brilliant album.
Although this album contains three legendary tracks, many of the songs on this album are absolutely horrible, with hindsight.
A dull rap album with super annoying outro & interludes.
I like some songs from The Who, but they're certainly not on this album. Even their megahit "My Generation" is an annoying song.
Boring, overrated Woodstock-era music.
A brilliant album, with legendary tracks that keep on giving. even the tracks that never made it to legendary status are earwurms!
I just discovered "Racing in the streets" and it's magnificent.
I've never given ELO a chance! However, has some absolutely awesome melodic songs.
Some tracks are absolutely brilliant. Planet Caravan has been in my top 100 songs for years now.
When you have Limp Bizkit, remove Lethal and Wes Borland, this is what remains: a bland rock album.
Ok, so I've given Prince another chance, and I still don't understand it.
Some of Tori Amos' pure piano songs are quite good. However, with hindsight (I was a fan of hers when I was a teenager), a lot of her music is painful to listen to.
One of my favorite albums of all time.
Another attempt at listening to David Bowie. I still don't understand it.
Downright horrible, boring, out of tone.
Goes in two ways. Some of their most famous hits are absolutely brilliant given the era they were released in. But at least half of the tracks make my ears bleed.
Extremely bland. Their hit "The Killing Moon" is bearable.
Dull 90s pop rock
Great album, very diverse, very layered. Also an excellent crystal-clear production.
The hits are absolutely brilliant, I even got to know some songs I haven't heard or don't recall. Also contains some fillers.
the fuck is this. It's bland skapunk
