1001 Albums Summary

A classic Stevie Wonder album. It’s dated but in a historic kind of way, a good way. Not an album I’d put on but definitely entertaining.

Not my cup of tea. Too chaotic

Did Creedence make a bad album? I’m bias. Love them!

I listen to this often, classic rock fan that I am. It inspired me years ago to look into Fleetwood Mac deeper. Nothing like the early stuff. I lean towards the Buckingham-Nicks group.

Very interesting album. Very cosmic if that’s a thing. Enjoyable but only in doses of 3-4 songs at a time.

I love Creedence Clearwater Revival! Their own very unique sound in this album shows it more than some.

Wow! I remember the first time I heard this type of music, I thought it was a mess. All this sounds that no matter how I tried I could understand why someone thought this sounded good. That was probably 45-50 years ago and today I still feel the same way. But to each their own. Different strokes for different folks.

Sorry, not my style. Whatever that style is. I couldn’t make it through the first two songs.

Really? They may be a group of creative musicians but for my tastes overly creative. I want music. Lyrics are secondary. This a collage of sounds, very 60's improvisation. Honestly, boring.

One of the quintessential albums by Neil Young. Most others pale in comparison.

As I’ve stated before, I am a classic rock superfan and this has been in my top ten since it was released. Tom Schlotz and band are amazing here. Great guitar sounds and keyboard! My 2 favs from the 60’s. Brought back together here. Foreplay/Long Time is a rock anthem for all time!

It’s ok, like a lesser version of Smashing Pumpkins, sorta.

Too calm. Not bad but I wouldn’t listen to it again.

Strangely interesting for a while but gets old fast. Not into the screaming parts either. Not for me.

Fell in love with Kate Bush after listening to this the first time. I’m not a lyrical person but you can’t help but listen to her stories. What a voice.

Very dated

I loved the Unplugged series from MTV. So pure, it really showed the talents of the musicians. And this one is great!

Very 80’s. Some songs are ok but ona whole, I’ll pass.

Vocals are so, I don’t know, monotone or monotonous? Or both. Couple songs go a long way with me.

I was introduced The Kinks in the early 1970’s, Lola. Like my all time favorite Pink Floyd (introduced with DSOTM) I like the later material so much more than the early stuff. I’ll pass on this album.
