Two saved tracks: Title track - repeatable And I Love Her - is lovely

My first Springsteen listen. His voice is not my jam. Failed to move me even slightly. 1/5 stars

Second half of the album improves a lot. Was not expecting this from Madonna

Yup, still passes my ear test. I’m a bit worn out on the intro track especially with its noisy and gratuitous ending. I hate songs that get ruined like this. Rant over That being said, the album is full of forward looking folk rock that I dig a lot. Jeff Tweedy is one of the good ones.

I can definitely hear how influential this album was and appreciate that. All I hear in “Venus in Furs” is Iggy Pop. Yet, I still have to judge how the music itself landed with me. Most of the album feels like it meanders. Different singers and themes. No real focus. It’s not my cup of coffee. 2/5

The songwriting on this album is really nothing special.

This kind of mvsic is so sovlless and BORING. Both “The Mother We Share” and “Recover” were nice trips down memory lane for me. I remember hearing them all the time on my local alternative radio station a decade ago. I’ve grown a lot. For me it’s a 2.
