Made it through 1 hour. A reminder about how annoying I find James Hetfield's voice, but don't actually hate Metallica's music that much.

Weird format to have the three singles at the very front of the album. Back half of the albums seems like a throw away.

The first song rips SO hard. The cadence of this album is exactly the way I like my albums... intense at first, dips down to more mellow, picks up in the middle, dips again and ends on a high note.

Four stars seems like a lot, but three is definitely not enough. Mark this one as a 3.9 for me.

It took me three attempts to get all the way through this one...

Zach is wrong...

At first I really dug this album but the second half was a complete snoozefest. Extra star for writing such timeless songs.

Where the hell did that third track come from...?

Maybe not a five star for me simply because of the Comfortably Numb cover. Other than that, fantastic.

I imagine that this is the type of music Wayne and Garth were reviewing on Wayne's World.

Jesus Christ this album is so sad and so good.

An absolute perfect album from top to bottom. The attention to detail is unparalleled. The cadence of the songs is perfect. The overall length of the album is exactly correct.
