Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Jan 30 2024

I didnt think I'd like this when I got it, but Midnight in a perfect world specifically is hauntingly beautiful. That hooked me and I ended up delightfully surprised by the entire album. A surprise to be certain!

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Feb 01 2024

Surprisingly good, with songs I remember my mother playing when I was a child. A happy find for sure.

Disintegration by The Cure
Feb 02 2024

My wife adores the Cure, we had a blast singing along with our daughter today. Fantastic suggestion.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Feb 03 2024

Why is this even on here?

Third by Soft Machine
Feb 04 2024

Random noise, with bits of jazz hidden in it. And now I feel harsh for rating Willie Nelson so low.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Feb 05 2024

Finally another good album, Elton John is a favorite of mine. Easy to rate because it's just damn good music.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 06 2024

Utter genius, Zappa knows how to bring life to music.

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Feb 07 2024

Super chill electronica, easy to listen to and enjoy.

The Man Who by Travis
Feb 08 2024

Run of mill mopey guitar. It was just okay.

Feb 09 2024

Groovy 90's electronica! This was a fun listen for me, a lot of these sounds are interesting when you consider where electronica is today, and the kind of tech that was being used back in the 90's to produce these.

The Next Day by David Bowie
Feb 10 2024

More David Bowie.. It's music. But it isn't good, and I didn't like it. Hopefully this is the last of this..

Cross by Justice
Feb 11 2024

Super surprised by this one, really excellent electronic music. Waters of Nazareth is excellent!

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Feb 12 2024

I didn't want to like this, I really didn't at the beginning. But the lyrics are actually quite good, and the music has this nice grunge-like sound that is really indicative of 90s indie. A happy surprise.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Feb 13 2024

Really taken aback by this one, the music is melancholy and filled with emotion, and just sounds so beautiful

Colour By Numbers by Culture Club
Feb 14 2024

Absolutely terrible. Shouldn't be anywhere close to a top anything list.

The Yes Album by Yes
Feb 15 2024

Sorry Yes! Is a No! for me. This just sounds like generic background music you'd hesr in that 70's show. That that's where I want this to stay.

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Feb 16 2024

Weird acoustics with bizarrer lyrics that feel like they would only make sense when incredibly high.

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Feb 18 2024

Okay acoustic, pretty much background music.

D by White Denim
Feb 19 2024

The music is something else, it's all over the place, but in a really good way.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 20 2024

Finally real music, just astounding stuff, this really does belong on a list of must listen music.

GI by Germs
Feb 22 2024

It's punk, but it isn't good punk.

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Feb 23 2024

Absolutely phenomenal. This is something you must hear before you die, it is utterly delightful.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Feb 24 2024

Interesting early rock, not amazing, but not bad.

Bummed by Happy Mondays
Feb 25 2024

Weird, bit in a really good way. The music NFS lyrics are unique

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Feb 26 2024

Solid 90s vibe. Bizarre lyrics. Really great music though. Definitely a win.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Feb 27 2024

Sultry vocals, sad lyrics, mellow over all, but not really my thing.

Ramones by Ramones
Feb 28 2024

It's the Ramones, of course it belongs on this list!

Spiderland by Slint
Mar 01 2024

Super weird, musically interesting, depressing and strange lyrics. At least it was interesting

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Mar 02 2024

I absolutely detest this band.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Mar 05 2024

Honestly this entire album reminds me of my mother, she loves Coldplay, and I remember all of these songs fondly as she would sing them random. 5 stars for nostalgia, and another 5 because it's just damn good music.

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Mar 06 2024

Weird, but I like it. It's like a musical story.

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Mar 07 2024

One or two decent songs, the guy has a weird voice, but this isn't really that great.

Goo by Sonic Youth
Mar 08 2024
Mar 09 2024

Delightful surprise, great lyrics and music. Definitely adding this to my rotation

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Mar 11 2024

This was surprisingly good. Great use of brass, wood winds, and especially saxophones! The vocals are interesting, doleful in places, chipper and bright in others. Unique.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Mar 12 2024

This is sort of what i expected to find in this collection, and damn did the atomic mr basie not disappoint

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Mar 13 2024

It's just weird, and not in a good way.

Revolver by Beatles
Mar 15 2024

Classics, love songs, just really enjoyable classic Beatles.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Mar 19 2024

I love this album, the beats are excellent, but Kendrick has an absolutely mastery over the word, he paints a story with his music.

Green by R.E.M.
Mar 22 2024

REM is pretty weird, but in a good way. It's chill music with a story.

Crazysexycool by TLC
Mar 24 2024

I'm sure it's good for what it is, but it isn't my thing.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Mar 26 2024

It's AC/DC, how couldn't you love it?

Mar 27 2024

Discordant sounds and randomly assembled patterns turned into delightfully unique music and melodies. This was a really fun listen, not at all what I expected.

Wild Gift by X
Mar 29 2024

This was surprisingly good

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths

Wildly good instrumental, headmaster ritual is wicked cool.

Apr 03 2024

Loved this album as a kid, still slaps

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Apr 04 2024

Solid 90's music, just chill meaningful music
