Are You Experienced
Jimi HendrixFantastic album. Not my favorite Hendrix but some absolute classics on it. 8.5/10.

Very solid album. A favorite of my tweens/teens. Tight tracks, consistent sound yet varying grooves and rhythms. Cool LoFi sound considering it was made by a bunch of rich NYC kids. Overall solid 8/10.
Great listen. Never heard it in it's entirety before but I loved it. Can see why it's considered so influential.
Innovative, some great tracks on it, but weighed down by a few stinkers as well.
Pretty freakin good. Forgot how influential The Band was.
I do not fw Queen. At all. But it's arguably their best album and a few songs are catchy so it gets a few stars for that.
Surprised I'd never heard this one before. Pretty decent proto-nu metal with some funkiness/grunge mixed in, but not exactly my style. A couple gems.
Pretty badass. I like the sound a lot. Surprised they were Brazillian
Surprisingly good. I have a soft spot for Arcade Fire though...
There is a reason it's so critically acclaimed. Legendary for a debut.
Fantastic. Historical. Crazy it was her 10th studio album.
Simply epic. But too long and repetitive.
Definitely experimental and grating at times but overall quite a cool album.
I get why it is iconic/influential. but this album was honestly kind of hard to listen to...
Has some bangers on it but a couple misses for me. Was hoping it would be more comprehensive. Coconut is oddly the first one I heard as a child, but Without You is by far the best.
Freakin badass man. Not perfect but has two of the most iconic LS songs. Faves are obviously Tuesday's Gone and Free Bird.
Surprisingly good for a live album. Never heard of it at all but the songs are long and complex and quite impressive. Favorite is Ye Ye De Smell
Pretty solid, but not exactly my favorite sound. Very bluesy indeed. Favorite tracks are Have You Heard and Lonely Years.
Loved the Demos more than the actual album. Really fun. Favorites are Kitchen or Bit Part.
Decent but not my favorite Stones album as its overly bluesy. I honestly think its a bit too long and boring at times. I like Sweet Virginia and Soul Survivor the most.
Court of the Crimson King is an all-timer. Great prog rock album and helped cement Children of Men as my favorite movie.
I get this is a very influential album... but it just stinks. It's creative but so so so grating. Genuinely unenjoyable. The weird vocals and the use of the electric keyboard bothered me a ton. I'd say I can't get over you is probably my favorite track, but it was hard to pick even one.
Great art rock, genre-blending album from one of my favorite 2000s bands that really innovated during the decade. Dlz is my favorite for sure.
Definitely an influential album that wrote the guidelines for 80s pop with groovy basslines, zany vocals, and sci-fi esque synths. Song With No Name and Soul Warfare were my faves, but the album as a whole isn't absolutely groundbreaking.
Don't need to say much. Arguably his best album and this statement has stood the test of the last decade. Even the bonus tracks are great and have killer features. Fave song is Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst. I just love the storytelling, length and changing perspectives, which I think is what the genre excels at over all others.
Not my favorite Johnny Cash album and generally not a live album fan, but this one is legendary and tells an incredible story. Musically I'd say its a 3 but the added lore makes it better. Boy Named Sue is my favorite track, although Shel Silverstein should get more credit.
Not really my style but a good listen, especially on St. Paddy's Day. Faves are Lullaby of London and Streets of Sorrow.
Probably the best RHCP album and still fuckin trash. I hate Anthony Kedis. Who cares about Flea or the drummer whose only relevancy is looking like Will Ferrell. Frusciante is cool but being in a band with a pedophile is messed up. Simply for Scar Tissue I'll give it a 2. It's groovy but also hot fucking ass.
I actually really enjoyed this album. A lot of hits and Heart of Glass rocks hard. I could see this being an innovative album for its time.
Freakin' classic. Super innovative and fun. Tugs at some heart strings but also makes you wanna dance. Would be some great tunes to hear back in the 60s. Love me some Green Onions and A Woman, A Lover, a Friend
Pretty great prog/pop/funk rock. Innovative af and great horns and guitar. Musically its a 3 for me but legacy-wise it gets a 4.
Decent instrumental album. Sounds pretty innovative for its time. I probably wouldn't listen to this very often though. Glass Museum is an iconic song however and I do think it is the best.
Kinda fun, not really my thing overall. Too long. And a Bang on the Ear was my favorite.
Not my favorite Smith's album but it still rocks hard. Paint a Vulgar Picture is my fave.
Some songs sound very 80s for a 70s album. Like the genre bending a lot. Catchy tunes. Fave is Torn Curtain.
Badass album. Great beats and one of my faves from Jay-Z. The Eminem feature is goofy but peak Em. Faves are Song Cry, Girls x3 and Girls x3 pt. 2
So many bangers and very iconic part of my childhood. Has rocked when I was 4 and still does at 24. The songs get better as you age because of how experimental they are despite remaining catchy. I Know There's an Answer and Wouldn't it be Nice are my faves
Never heard this before. Pretty solid, no complaints. Pale September is fave.
Masters Song is so good. I never really gave LC a chance before but this is a great debut for a poet.
This album was surprisingly fantastic. Very 80s but really killer tunes with great vocals. Come To My Aid and Holding Back Tears are my faves.
Album is honestly kind of ass, which I'm betting people disagree with. Doesn't have any Oasis classics... fave was Supersonic I guess
I kinda like Siamese Dream more... but this album is still aspirational and fantastic. Disarm might be my favorite...
This album feels like one long developing song. It is really solid overall, although the sounds of the trumpet that kind of sound human were a bit unsettling. Track A - Solo Dancer was my favorite.
Not my favorite Smiths album but definitely close. Barbarism Begins at Home and Well I Wonder are my faves. Album cover is also burned into my brain.
Garbage proto ACDC. Debris is fine.
Decent 80s rock. Like how it isn't too corny but 80s generally isn't my favorite. Forest Fire is my favorite
Really don't have much to say. Classic metal and kinda epic but not really my style. I can respect it for what it is and it's legacy though. A lot of the songs sound the same... A New Level is probably my favorite?
Not a huge reggae guy myself but this one is relatively legendary. Dread Natty is a great track.
I can see how this would be ahead of its time in 1978, but besides one or two songs its pretty bland. Just What I Needed is a pretty clear winner with that awesome synth.
