Who's Next
The WhoGreat rock album, liked it a lot more than I expected. Top tracks for me are Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes and Won't Get Fooled Again.

Not one for me
First impressions based on one listen (!) Liked the covers best, probs cos more familiar. Liked production and instrumentation. Not sure about his voice for the most part. Will defo listen again. Bit baffled by the wide range of reviews of this by others … but I’m new here.
Okay, but not one for me
* Really enjoyed this slab of solid electric blues. Not a duff track on the album, but my favourites are Roadhouse Blues, Waiting for the Sun and Maggie M’Gill.
Liking this album, which feels like Graceland in formation. Fave tracks are Mother and Child Reunion, Duncan and Paranoia Blues.
* Liked this more when it was first released when I listened to it a lot. Still okay, but not a favourite. Maybe a few too many songs about how tough it is to be in the music business and/or living in California. That said, best tracks for me are Hotel California and New Kid in Town.
Not something I would have ever listened to without this list. A strong set of funk-Motown crossover. Favourite tracks are Cloud Nine and Runaway Child Running Wild.
A top drawer album, brimming with great instrumentations and, of course, Otis Redding’s rich and soulful voice. Top tracks for me are: Satisfaction and Rock Me Baby.
The strong start provided by the first three tracks gives way to some overly smooth and repetitious stuff. Stand out track for me is The Urban Theme.
Extreme politics meet stabby guitar riffs. Best tracks, for me, are Damaged Goods and I Found That Essence Rare.
Not one for me.

OK, but not one for me. Fave tracks are Heartbreaker and Lovefool.
Fine. My favourite tracks are Brass in Pocket, Private Life, Stop Your Sobbing and Space Invader.
* I do have affinity with the sentiments and messages in the lyrics, but musically I feel the album is enormously overrated. No Surprises is best track for me.
Ok, not for me though.
Not one for me
Justifiably reckoned to be one of the greatest live albums. Crank up the volume on your high-end hi-fi, let the raw production wash over you and you're right there at one of the front tables. Top tracks for me are Chain Gang, Cupid and Twistin' The NIght Away
I get the significance of this album, though I wonder how it is viewed by true lovers of HipHop, as opposed to ‘rock’ critics. Not one for me. Top track = Peter Piper
NOFM
Fine! Grew on me.
Better than I expected, but not to my taste.
Not something I would normally have ever listened to. Quite liked it.
Good album, though couple of tracks don’t feel like they belong here (Dreamin’ and You Are). The rest are great though.
I liked it. It was different to what I expected. Also, I’m always glad to find things that are not on Spotify.
Ok, probably needs more listens for me to appreciate it.
OK
* Gotta be a "5". Why do I love Can but not Radiohead?
* Great! 4.5/5 rounded up.
* My favourite Bowie album. Brian Eno, Robert Fripp and Tony Visconti made huge contributions to this work, which is the artistic zenith of the Neu!/Harmonia/Kraftwerk/Bowie/Iggy Pop 1970s collision.
I don’t think BT&TMGs were an album band. This sounds OK, cool and laid-back, but it doesn’t feel very relevant today.
So so
*Timeless, and a nailed on “5”.
*Dylan covers are ok, but on the whole the album feels like an historical document.
Ok, but not really one for me

* I have owned this for a while, but not appreciated it before I listened to it again thanks to this generator.
*Like it
Okay … respect for the political positioning, sound production and some of the guitar work, but vocals are (to put it politely) not to my taste, tracks are repetitive and the album is too long. Also, as mentioned by another reviewer, just because the lyrics are not sung doesn’t make it rap!
Fine artpop
Awful ... one of the 1001 albums you will hear after you've died and gone to Hell.
* At last an album that's not guitar-fixated, nor from a singer songwriter, and it's a banging 5 star one too.
Learning not to trust my preconceptions. An hour of live solo piano improvisation from 1975, what could possibly be worse (musically that is)? Well … Keith Jarrett has joined the jazz and classical oceans to create a beautiful recording that carries so many moments of musicality it is extraordinary.
Not one for me
Seems okay based on one listen, could be a grower.
Weird and fun. Ahead of its time.
Liking the lush instrumentation, but I’m not a fan of breakup albums.
Fine performance all round. Glad not to have been in the audience.
Curiously weak delivery of an important message.
* Definitely not one for me
* Like hearing something a bit different.
Ok. If I was 17 again I’d love driving around in my junk car with this on the cassette player.
I enjoyed this more than I expected. Kinda like four short albums, with different styles, in one pretty long one.
Six out of fourteen tracks are (not great) covers. And, does a book/list like 1001 AYMHBYD need seven Beatles albums? I love the Beatles, but really?
A slab of the ‘60s from the early ‘70s … liked it more than I expected to. It deserves more listening.
OK, a 2.5 rounded up
* One of my favourite jazz albums
Not bad, but not one for me
* Had this a while, but not listened to it much until now. Liking it more now than before.
Has it finished yet? Ah, good.
