With The Beatles by Beatles
Apr 15 2025

Pretty great, had already heard most of these songs before of course. Amaya cool to stumble across new ones

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Apr 16 2025

Was okay, liked some of the songs but not a huge fan in general. Lots of pop but nothing special

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Apr 17 2025

Not a big fan of country, but liked one or two songs enough to make this 2 stars. It doesn’t seem bad or anything, just not my cup of tea personally

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Apr 18 2025

Pretty great, I liked at least half of the songs. Big fan of the first disc. The jam session stuff was fine, it’s all decent sounds but without lyrics and more development in general it isn’t something I care to listen to repeatedly

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Apr 21 2025

Pretty great, big fan of some of the songs but some of them are almost skippable?

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Apr 22 2025

Honestly really fun! Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I might. Was a really great day though, Boston marathon and seeing lots of friends, so that maybe influenced me positively. Anyways yeah big band stuff is awesome

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Apr 23 2025

I enjoyed a few songs, casually liked the album but it’s not something I would have on repeat. Regardless, it’s cool and reading the wiki entry gave historic context that made the listening experience really nice.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Apr 24 2025

Great album! Definitely saved like half the songs. I wish the recording gear was better back then, some songs sounded washed out, a product of their age I guess. Heavy guitar focus is fun, but feels like unintentional shoegaze not being able to hear vocals super well. Anyways, listened in a hurry so maybe not my best review

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
Apr 25 2025

Honestly not a big fan. Have been trying to get more into hip-hop, but this album just doesn’t do it for me. Some ideas are cool, but songs don’t make me want to listen again. I see how some people could like it and would be cool for its time

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Apr 28 2025

A good album, was cool to hear that iconic first track! Wouldn’t quickly re-listen to many other tracks but I liked it

Apr 29 2025

Honestly not the biggest fan, this is more of a 3.5, rounding up BECAUSE apparently tracks like Strawberry Fields were originally going to be on this record, but got pushed out early as singles by the prod company. Some unremarkable songs, but would listen to (and have listened to) much of this album before

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Apr 30 2025

Barely scraping by with a 2, just because I could see the value in this for someone who really wanted to rage. Personally would not re-listen, but by the end of it I could see what people might find in this music, thinking generously.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
May 01 2025

I think what really sells it for me is that some of the songs are amazing, and none of them feel “just okay”. I don’t listen to a lot of this kind of music though, so it may be more of a novelty for me. But I saved a ton of songs from this album!

May 02 2025

Honestly not sure whether this is a 3 or a 4, probably closer to a 4 but I really like rock music. Would definitely give it another listen eventually but I’m not racing to do so, hence the 3. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great music, but I’ve listened to a lot of high-energy rock music recently

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
May 05 2025
The Chronic by Dr. Dre
May 06 2025

This is definitely better than the noise rock album that I rated a 2 (I should go back and make that a 1), but I wouldn’t listen to this whole album again. It’s really cool to listen and learn for historical context, but hip-hop in general isn’t my favorite I guess

May 07 2025

Honestly really great, saved 65% of the songs, only not a 5 because I feel like there could be a higher peak. But this is all awesome stuff, very fun minimal electronic type music that would still be great if played in the club today!!

evermore by Taylor Swift
May 08 2025

Thought it was great! Swift is a great storyteller, which was the main interest for me for this album. The songwriting is great too, but that falls more into the background for me, since most of the music I listen to I really appreciate from that perspective. I can see why people are big fans of hers

Roots by Sepultura
May 09 2025

Not a fan of angry music usually, but I see the point, and they’re obviously talented musicians

Pretenders by Pretenders
May 12 2025

Thought it was great, especially for the 80s! Saved a few songs, really liked instrumental of Space Invader

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
May 13 2025

Wow it was so pretty!! Big fan of jazz, I don’t listen enough. Saved every song

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
May 14 2025

4 because I enjoyed it. It was great music to work to. Not sure I love it all, but saved a few songs!!

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
May 15 2025

Liked it, saved a couple songs!! Cool to see where some iconic samples come from. Wouldn’t usually listen to this kind of music albums so not a 4

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
May 20 2025

Obviously great, not my fav album of theirs but some bangers

May 21 2025

Really enjoyed some songs, wouldn’t rush to listen again. But it’s like Taylor swift for gangsters lol

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
May 22 2025

Liked it more than I thought I would. Wouldn’t listen again in a hurry, not the biggest metal fan

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
May 26 2025

Probably a 3, saved a couple songs, liked the album in general! Was mostly just cleaning and organizing so not 100% focused

Guero by Beck
May 27 2025

Honestly listened to this while doing chores, I think it’s a good album but not many songs really stood out

Trio by Dolly Parton
May 28 2025
Third by Soft Machine
May 29 2025

Really liked it, almost a 4. Incredible to bake to lol, was fun in the kitchen

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
May 30 2025

Wow what a strong start, had never heard Jet before!! Saved every song, had heard of the eponymous track obviously. Wow

Jun 02 2025

Amazing to hear the samples, iconic, would listen again but just personally not a 4 because I’m not going to be wanting to play many of the songs a lot. Strong 3.5?

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Jun 03 2025

Banger, easy 4, not many notes. Wasn’t listening super closely though and was walking around my beautiful neighborhood having a wonderful day so hard to be objective

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jun 04 2025

I have this problem with Radiohead where many of the tracks from each record sound kinda similar because I’m not super closely listening. Regardless, could not have had a better album to walk around my neighborhood to. Not a 5 because I wouldn’t say every song is an ear worm, but beautiful work

Medúlla by Björk
Jun 06 2025

Really cool, interesting, wouldn’t hurry to listen again to every song. Reminded me of Radiohead, but with better stories? But the songs weren’t as gripping. Very unique

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Jun 18 2025

Very melancholy, didn’t give it as close of a listen as I should’ve. It’s really nice but wouldn’t race to listen afain

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Jun 20 2025

It’s Britney, bitch!! Real talk all of these were fun

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jun 23 2025

Smiths are great, honestly usually too mellow for me, especially lately. Lovely music, not in a hurry to re-listen

Jun 25 2025

This probably deserves a higher rating and I should revisit it at some point, but not speaking French makes it hard to appreciate a rap album in French

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Jun 26 2025

Liked it, wouldn’t race to re-listen because it’s so lyrical but was very cool

Jul 03 2025

Honestly probably a 4, just a lot of the tracks sound like The Smiths. This isn’t bad but I wasn’t in the mood to listen to that

Vivid by Living Colour
Jul 04 2025

Great rock album, a couple great tracks, just okay overall. But was running around listening doing chores. Crazy good for a debut album!

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 07 2025

Rating it this low feels criminal, but honestly just not taking the time to listen super closely and this is more like spoken word folk music. It’s more artistic than the kind of music I was listening to today and deserves a closer listen

Odelay by Beck
Jul 08 2025

Crazy samples, alarms and phones and stuff. That’s a fun thing now, I wonder if it was super prevalent in the 90s? Good listen but didn’t save a ton, honestly closer to a 4 probably objectively and probably very creative for its time

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jul 11 2025
Be by Common
Jul 14 2025

Very lyrical but really liked it!! Just not an instant re-listen

S&M by Metallica
Jul 17 2025

Crazy good for a long run. Felt like I was in a James Bond movie

16 Lovers Lane by The Go-Betweens
Jul 25 2025

Very Smiths-esque, couldn’t believe they were Australian. A little boring tbh

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Jul 28 2025

Harder rock than I usually listen to, still grear

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Aug 07 2025

Makes me wish I was an angsty teenager again

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Aug 11 2025

Sick, obviously Take Me Out and Darts of Pleasure are classic but found some other bangers! Not a 5 because a couple songs I didn’t absolutely love but this is the highest 4 in a while. I think I’m being harsh idk
