IMMEDIATELY I'm reminded of the type of rock I really do not like. š«
If youāre giving me rock then give me Steppenwolf, not whatever this isā¦
Eh. I appreciate the musical theatre aspect of it, but it isnāt for me.
Iām CERTAIN that the first track influenced the Japanese soundtrack for Sonic CD, which is cool. The rest of the album is mid, and I really disliked that it was only on YouTube.
Some songs are fun. Feels like Iām listening to the radio in GTA.
Cāmon man⦠these albums are getting WORSE!
Love, love, love, love, and love it
I respect Kate Bush a lot as an artist. Sheās definitely inspired work by some of my favorite, current day artists, like Caroline Polachek, and I love that. But while I do really like some songs by Kate Bush, sheās unfortunately never really āclickedā with me, and this album is the same. Nonetheless, I understand its significance in the genre (also, I love the use of drums and Celtic instruments).
PARKOUR???!!!!!!! I truly didnāt know that the xx was even a band
Iāve only heard a of couple songs off of this album before, and while I liked them, I was surprised with how much Iāve been resonating with it, and happily so!
Cue my 15 year old self singing Thinkin Bout You in the shower. Fire⦠absolutely fireā¦
Could barely make it through the first few songs
An amazing album. Iād never listened to this one all the way through, so while Iām surprised that Pet Sounds wasnāt the chosen Beach Boys album, I was happy with it nonetheless! RIP Brian Wilson
Love Dusty⦠Iām more of a fan of Dusty In Memphis, but I always love listening to a new album!
I liked a few songs and really didnāt like the others
Couldnāt get past the first song
Honestly not sold on Radiohead. In theory I feel like I would like them a lot, but they were just okay.
Some classic twang. Iām all about it!
I feel so cool when I listen to this album. So, so good! Itās a twin day!
First song blew my mind with its shittiness
Iām an occasional sad boy Velvet Underground enjoyer, like Pale Blue Eyes and Candy Says, but this one wasnāt it for me
Pretty fun listen. Ran to it, and that was good, but I was ready for a vibe change by the end of the album. Iām very picky about choral accompaniment in pop songs, and this album had a lot of that ā some hits and some not.
Listened to this while road tripping with my parents. Awesome album.
Givin me a hankerin for some mountain time!
First time listening to the whole album. Amazing.
Early teens Robbie ate this UP and quite frankly I still do!
Am I a blues enthusiast? Nay. But this album had its moments!
ABBA spelled backwards is EPIC
They really know how to start with a bang! ⦠As in, I want to bang my head against a brick wall because this sucks so much. I wish I could give zero stars.
Well Missy, has hip hop really changed? š¤
Nick Persons, played by rapper Ice Cube, is a selfish player who owns a collectibles sports shop in Portland Everything in his life is perfect until he meets Suzanne Kingston, a businesswoman who has something he hates - children: Lindsey and Kevin. They become friends and share good moments with each other. But his peaceful life gets altered when she asks him to drive Lindsey and Kevin to Vancouver. After they miss a plane and train, they drive. Unfortunately, Lindsey and Kevin hate Nick, and he has to try to make it to Vancouver, unaware of the terror and torture he is in for.
Didnāt like it or hate it, but I was hyper aware of the fact that I was listening to U2. I was glad to be done with it when it finished, though.
First song was a bit long and repetitive, but the rest was a joy. Pleasantly surprised! Fave song was Rodeo Drive (High Steppinā). Major CASIOPEA vibes.
Q: Did DEVO just learn what music is, or do they just suck?
A: Yes.
Ahhhh sweet Gillianā¦.
Relaxing listen of beautiful ballads! Fave songs were Revelator and Dear Someone.
What I listened to was okay!
Didnāt even listen this time (Iāve listened many times in the past). Didnāt have to. Banger.
Going in so hyped for this one⦠havenāt finished it yet but I can tell it really tickles that rainy-day coffee shop kinda vibe! Ayo!
Jojoā¦. Oh jojo⦠you are so bizarreā¦
Never really listened to Kendrick besides a couple of really popular singles. Those were always just okay for me and this album was about the same.
Mommy and daddy⦠I like!!!!!
I REALLY liked the first half (fave was In Bloom), but the second half sort of fell off for me
Never heard this (to my knowledge) and was so pleasantly surprised. Love love love!!!!!
Listened before. Liked On The Run a lot as a kid. Made me feel like Sonic. The rest is aight.
This is another very nostalgic album for me that I havenāt really listened to in adulthood. Specifically reminds me of visiting my friend in Wildwood, MO in the winter and wandering through the creek behind his house for hours.
Definitely interestingā¦
In Your Eyes is the quintessential example of corny 80s music that I love. Itās a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. Red Rain/That Voice Again also scratches that itch, and bonus points for the Kate Bush feature in Donāt Give Up. I feel like I might in the minority for liking this album, but itās good for me broā¦
What I listened to was enjoyable enough
I used to (Stevie) WONDER what this album sounded like because I had never listened. Now I no longer (Stevie) wonder.
Interesting idea, I guess?
