Caetano Veloso
Caetano VelosoHarmless Brazilian pop. Don't think I'll ever listen to it again, but didn't hate it.
Harmless Brazilian pop. Don't think I'll ever listen to it again, but didn't hate it.
A 3.5 taken to a 4 by the sheer awesomeness of Hungry Like the Wolf
More of 4.5/5. Better than a 4 but not quite a 5.
Closer to a 3.5, not quite a 4. Really fun and interesting but not one I'm really eager to relisten
Reading some reviews I expected to hate it, but it's a really fun record. Perfect for background music. Plus, there's a great remix of the James Bond theme (Radio 7).
Harmless Brazilian pop. Don't think I'll ever listen to it again, but didn't hate it.
Really fun and interesting. Definitely not for everyone, but it surely is for me!
Not terrible, not great. Just some pretty standard 60s pop. Lazy me is quite good though.
Where has this album been all my life, that was so fun!
Albums like this are what makes this project worth it. Don't know if or when I would have listened to this. But now it might become a new favorite!
Helper, Thumb and Going Home were really good, but the rest was one big slug.
Never heard of this artist before, but this is a really fun, original and interesting record. Highly recommend! Reminds me of some early Janelle Monae.
A 3.5/5. Probably my least favorite Sonic Youth album so far, but it's still pretty good.
Really Really good album, but a bit too long. Should have ended with Nothing Else Matters.
Mostly uninteresting, but The Asphalt World is a great song.
That was boring.
Pretty good, bit too long. 3.5/5.
Fun, but far from a favorite of the rap genre. 3.5/5
Would be a 3 but Number and Hills are such great songs, they bump it to a 4.
My new favourite band? Yeah, nah I don't think so.
Amazing debut, almost a 5 but knowing that they're next 3 albums are all better I'll give it a 4
Pretty fun but nothing remarkable. 3.5/5
Fun, but gets quite repetitive after a while. 3.5/5
One of the greatest album of all time. Completely unique, nothing else sounds like it. It won't show in the ranking here, but just how I like to add a .5 to some albums, a select few will brake the scale and receive a 6. This is the first one. There aren't many perfect songs, but Cloudbusting is one of them. A true masterpiece, might be the best album of the eighties.
Good, but not really my thing. Should listen to it more. Cult is great tho. 3.5/5
Pretty fun and Kicks is a great song. 3.5/5
Rest in peace Ozzy. Thank you for the music.
4.5/5. Really Really good but not quite Pink Moon level good
Definitely not bad, but also definitely not my thing.
I knew and loved the hits. But, this is a really fun album all throughout.
Love, love, love this album.
4.5/5. Really good, but I think I prefer Thriller and Bad a bit more, and those tow are fives.
Another one of my 6/5. This album rivals VU & Nico for me. The music, the storytelling, the lyrics, everything is perfect. One of the saddest and greatest album of all time.
Fun album, better than I expected. 3.5/5
Really interesting album, totally not what I expected.
One of the absolute greatest rap albums of all time. Groundbreaking sampling.
I knew of, and quite liked, Tom's Dinner but this really surprised me with how great it was. She's got a new fan in me
Why is this on here? What a stupid waste of time
A nice and fun little palette cleanser after the atrocity that was Electric by The Cult
Quite good, but there are some of her vocal inflection that gets on my nerves a bit. But still, it's good and I'm curious to listen to more form her. 3.5/5
Really fun and interesting. 4.5/5
Not bad, but definitely not my kind of stuff. Smooth operator is dope tho.2.5/5
Quite fun but not sure I'll listen to it often. 3.5/5
A really good album, I remembered liking it years back but it's even better than I remember. Not a top tier of that era and genre, but pretty up there.
A really fun electronic/house/dance album. Perfect to put in the background while gaming.
Really really fantastic album. Listening to his old stuff, make's it all the more depressing to know how he turned out. Still, this is one of the greatest rap albums ever, and he gets even better later. 4.5/5
Pretty forgettable, not the worst thing I've heard but not that far off.
