1001 Albums Summary

Already a top album of mine. 5/5 no notes. Just a great listen from top to bottom and so much music history that comes with it. It’s got lyrical depth but also such an easy listen.

Pure Santana. Knew a lot of the songs growing up my parents listen to Santana all the time so this album has a nostalgic feeling great album to pop on and have in the background while doing other things wouldn’t listen to every day but definitely need this one in the final collection. Such a fun listen

Love Green Day! But I think their last best great album was nimrod. Warning was good and this just is the same. American Idiot single hits as does a few others but honestly it's kind of a boring album to me. 3 stars maybe be too much but I will always have a special place in my heart for this band for the early days

This is one of those generational albums that changed music.

It’s a defining album for punk rock. Repetitive yes but it’s just fun to sit back and enjoy. it’s a staple for this genre and a must listen.

One of if not the greatest of all time, jazz musicians in history and Pioneer for jazz I listen to this album with so much appreciation for the talent and skill in the history of it. It is super long and has a lot of talking, which at some point takes away from it, but it’s cool to just be part of the moment while they’re talking And so if you come into it with that mindset, it’ll open up your eyes to a new way of hearing the non-musical moments.

It’s good. I appreciated it and enjoyed it for what it was. I wouldn’t listen to this album again but I’m glad I got to experience it

The beginning of hip hop. Classic beats that have used for so many other modern songs!

It’s crazy this came out in the early 80s not my favorite album, but it is so unique even though some songs are skippable. I enjoyed this album for what it is.

Couple of good songs and I admire Lennon for what he did for rock music especially with the Beatles but I wouldn’t listen to this again.

Huge synth pop fan. This album was fun but got repetitive and I tuned out a few time but overall was fun.

Never have liked her music enough to listen to a full album. But this one surprised me! Still not a top album for me personally but I would listen again for sure. Maybe earn one more star on a second listen

One of my fave albums. So fun all the way through

Such a good funk album

Vol 4 is such a great Sabbath album. Yes it doesn’t have the huge hits like Paranoid but I feel the band is locked in on this album and really took their sound to a new level. Ozzys vocals just cut deep every song! Need this in the vinyl collection stat! RIP Ozzy

GOAT country album. No skips

Pure rock n roll

I liked a lot of the elements on this album. I could hear some Talking Heads, country/bluegrass beats in there and almost more chaotic verison of Arcade Fire. But overall just didn't fully vibe like I hoped I would

Fun album love the vibe especially while out driving! Wouldn’t always want to listen but they are important to that era of music!
