Paul McCartneyCatchy instrumentals, a good folk rock vibe even if the vocals sound a little derivative.

Enjoyed this album more than I expected.. sonically there’s a lot of industrial vibes but not too abrasive to distract melodic nature of the songs. Think Gorillaz mixed with NIN
A fun indie rock album with good riffs and vocals, a shorter track list would do the album service though.
This album caught me off guard! A great collection of early 2000’s pop bangers. Guest features by Lil Kim and Redman keep the track list from getting stale.
I know this album is regarded as a classic and I can definitely appreciate the song writing element of it but my rating is going to have to reflect my personal enjoyment of the album.. Unfortunately Joni’s falsetto sounds like a dying cat having its testicles crushed.
A real east cost album through and through. The album starts out a little slow but gains momentum and doesn’t ease up on the gas. What you get is gritty street narratives but the real stand out is the classic Premo production. Stand out track for me is “Ain’t the devil happy”.
Greatest hip hop album of all time.. what you get here is a tight 40 minutes of impeccable rhymes, classic 90’s production from DJ Premier and impactful features. Following in the footsteps of the great Rakim a young Nas put together the ultimate debut album and put east coast rap on the map for good.
More versatile that I expected Groovin’ moved between pop, Motown soul and rock sounds without sounding disjointed or erratic. The only major negative is that Apple Music only has a Mono mix which unfortunately does sound flat and lifeless at times. Fun album
Not a big fan of the Stones but the album is pleasant enough. Solid blues rock with no glaring weaknesses.
Who the fuck puts out an album with 69 songs.. No.
Fucking fire psychedelic pop. The mixing has great layers.
Nothing groundbreaking here just a short collection of punchy pop rock tracks.
Enjoyable Blues/Rock, all killer no filler
Started off a little slow but once it gets going this album packs a bunch. Social conscious rhymes and interesting beats. One of the best early posse cuts I’ve heard so far. In a similar vein to Tribe.
This shit is fire. Dark biting storytelling over lowkey guitar. Classic America. Surprised I’ve never heard of this album before the man is a poet.
Weird mixing ruined the experience of the album for me, decent psychedelic rock/pop
Simply beautiful.. no criticism.
