holy shit. this album pulled me in like one hasn’t in a while. i was hooked by the first song. piano joint (this love) was so incredibly touching and beautiful. i could feel myself getting emotional. what a track. this is what music is about. one of the most captivating albums i’ve listened to in a while. masterpiece

listening to Either/Or as my album of the day, it’s like a reward. what can i say about Elliott Smith that’s something new, not much so i will repeat what i always say when i speak of Elliott Smith. the man is a lyrical genius, a songwriter of a generation. his music never gets old, his music never gets skipped. there is no song of his that sucks in his personal work or even with his band Heatmiser. God i fucking love Elliott Smith. Genius album. Truly an album you have to listen to before you die because it is indeed life changing. 5 isn’t a high enough rating. top 100 albums of all time without a doubt.
