Guero by Beck
Dec 01 2025

Beck is so good. Weird and fun . Favorite song Missing. Funky and becks voice really hits me the right way. Every album I’ve heard from him I’m a fan of

Young Americans by David Bowie
Dec 02 2025

Standouts win and fame. I’m trying to do this without pre conceived opinions( which is impossible for someone as ubiquitous as Bowie) the parts of this album I enjoyed were funky and weird and catchy. I found a lot of the middle boring. I kind of really hate the Beatles cover

Harvest by Neil Young
Dec 03 2025

The story is Neil towed someone to a middle of a pond and played the album from big speakers to them in a rowboat. I listened on a Tuesday morning, driving in my work truck, in the middle of the first snow storm of the year in Pennsylvania, and it was a perfect atmosphere to listen to it. Just an introspective for Neil and for me. I don’t love every song but the ones I do are masterpieces. Stand out songs: maybe it’s cliche but old man and heart of gold are standards for a reason

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 04 2025

I wanted to love this. I don’t. Kind of boring. I don’t like the music or words. Maybe in context this would have some meaning to me. I like lively up yourself

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Dec 05 2025

Damn the harmonies There’s that episode of the Simpson’s where Homer gets long luxurious hair and has 2 hippie chicks surrounding him brushing his hair. This album may as well be in the background. This album is halfway between the 50s and the late 60s, I wish it was more the late 60s, sometimes it feels too old fashioned. Songs: Monday Monday California dreamin The in crowd

Dec 06 2025

Nirvana was big when I was young. I was even a contrarian then. I didn’t like nirvana. I started understanding they were good from the Batman. Something is hard to listen to while walking and not thinking your Batman. After listening to the album I watched it on YouTube. This is a masterpiece, I’m excited to listen to a full nirvana studio album but I’ll wait till this app tells me to. Stand out songs Something The man who sold the world

1989 by Taylor Swift
Dec 07 2025

I get why people like this. I can see it’s fine but for some reason it doesn’t resonate with me. Pop music is kind of a dead spot and just not super enjoyable for me. I’ve never really listened to swift before but clearly she’s very popular. I think society just recycles through these pop stars every few years, it feels like she’s the biggest one ever but I bet it felt like that with a bunch of the others too. I will acknowledge what the masses like I tend to disregard. I really did listen to this and I gave it a chance but it’s just not very good. (To me) Just boring

Dec 08 2025

I liked it but didn’t love I really liked all thoughts are prey to some beast The music is really nice but I got kind of bored with the vocals and sameness It is a good album for a thoughtful Sunday morning

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Dec 09 2025

I dunno, feels very much like the 90s Not doing it for me

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Dec 10 2025

Sounds like early the be sharps

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Dec 16 2025

I was obsessed with this one 20 years ago. Still incredible As close to a perfect 5 as I’ve gotten so far

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Dec 22 2025

2 classic songs with a lot of good stuff between. Dug this but wish the middle stuff was a little better

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Dec 30 2025
