1001 Albums Summary

This was a fun listen. Had some classics I had no idea were The Who. Made me realize I do not know this band. Not my style but I have a lot of respect for this and it’s definitely a good time.

This was alright I typically love a mainly instrumental album with an ambient vibe but this felt kinda claustrophobic to me.

This was hard to rate because i genuinely really liked some of these songs. And I could really hear more contemporary bands I love in this music but idk if it was my mood today or what but most of this album left me feeling agitated and I do not f with his voice. Great lyrics though. Came into this thinking it’d be a hell yes and came out saying no thank you.

This was such a joy to listen to. I will come back to this for years to come.

This is not a good album. Reminds me of a trash dive bar band.

this album was one of my favorite when I was a teen. it was one of the first classic rock albums I really resonated with. I was excited to come back to it after all these years and even more excited when it began and sounded just a good and full of life as I had remembered. then, the song "sixteen" came on and my heart ached for my teenage self. Iggy pop was 30 when this album was released. let that sink in.

This is a perfect album imo. Kinda wish there were more pet sounds though. Not even one meow!

with lyrics like: You know animals are hairy? They're living on nuts and berries there was no other way I could rate this album.

good times all around. If you have lots of critters to look at under the scope all day this is a good soundtrack to do it to.

one of my all time favorites. this is the album that introduced me to the genre. love the concept of music as ambiance as adding to the feel of a moment in an interesting way. background music should be art.

my parents used to play this when I was growing up. just as beautiful as I remember.

I can appreciate what's happening here, but this was not my definition of a good time.

kinda an overrated album imo. i liked a some of the folky songs but it felt all over the place genre-wise and lacks cohesion.
