Either Or by Elliott Smith
Mar 31 2026

i love tha smithler, though something keeps any one of his albums from being a true 5/5 for me

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Apr 01 2026

i'm going on memory here from like, a year ago, but i remember thinking it was not that good

May 19 2026

its fine, a few songs that really grab me (The Scientist, Clocks, GPASUYF) but otherwise above average background noise

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Jun 04 2026
Harvest by Neil Young
Jun 12 2026

i wish this site allowed for .5's cause this is more like a 4.5, I just think its got a few songs (are you ready for the country, there's a world) are just okay, but they are along some stone cold classics (alabama, out on the weekend, not to mention all the classic rock radio staples that don't even need a mention). It's very funny that Neil (or a producer, i guess) thought that a man needs a maid needed the big orchestral treatment lmao

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 16 2026

The songs are cool, but this is not my style really. 3.5, if i could give it, but a 4 cause a 3 seems mean (i was also writing when it was on, so i reserve the right to change my opinion on a closer listen)

War by U2
Jun 22 2026

there are some amazing songs on here, but also some real stinkers

Jun 24 2026

the woman who wrote 'Credit in the Straight World' and 'Dollparts' is an honorary trans woman, as far as im concerned. this album rules

Jun 25 2026

"too long, clanky, too long!" but seriously, hearing these songs, most of which i liked, in the context of an album rather than a rave was weird, and not always in a good way. that being said, i can't really say i didn't like anything except tracks 6 and 7, and the final track. dance music isn't my thing in an album context most times, and this doesn't really serve as an exception. 3.5 if they allowed half grades, alas they don't, so a 3

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Jun 26 2026
Kid A by Radiohead
Jul 01 2026
Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Jul 02 2026

only ever listened to Blue, this whips

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Jul 03 2026

there are some catchy melodies on here, but holy shit was this boring

Rocks by Aerosmith
Jul 07 2026
B-52's by The B-52's
Jul 09 2026

if you're in outer space don't feel out of place there are thousands of others just like you

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 13 2026

reggae is usually not my thing, but this was actually really great! lots of really cool variety alongside classics that i grew up with

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jul 14 2026

"i will not be entranced by the siren song of Stephen Patrick Morrissey!" minutes later "I'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN/IN OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES/AND NOW IT'S HAPPENING IN MINE"

Ramones by Ramones
Jul 15 2026

some great songs, pretty repetitive sound tho. kinda my feelings on punk in general

Parklife by Blur
Jul 17 2026

wish i liked anything half as much as i liked the singles!

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jul 20 2026

hell yeah baybee

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Jul 27 2026

for some reason, despite me LOVING so many of his songs, i cant give Smith a 5/5 on any album

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Jul 28 2026

pretty sick hip hop of the sort i tend to enjoy, good stuff

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Jul 29 2026

wow, that was remarkably good for what i was expecting

461 Ocean Boulevard by Eric Clapton
Jul 30 2026

i do not like this, but there is a version of this i like, where it is made by someone else and sounds different

Blackstar by David Bowie
Aug 03 2026

hell yeah

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Aug 04 2026

pretty fantastic, though i do think the length of some songs, especially the closer, is a bit unearned. did we really need the long spoken word about cheating?

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Aug 05 2026

there are only so many songs about being called jay z that a girl can take

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Aug 07 2026

i don't love the blues, sadly. some neat songs

Aug 10 2026

not for me! i feel like you have to be *really* into Andre 3000 to like most of the second half, singles aside

1999 by Prince
Aug 11 2026

i do not like this very much. at a dance, sure, on record? not for me

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Aug 13 2026
Be by Common
Aug 19 2026

some great songs and overall well produced, just gets a wee bit repetative, and some weird linds/song topics in places

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Aug 20 2026

OH yeah, its all coming together. this song has 3 of my favourite songs, and two of them are also probably the best songs of all time
