not bad at all but i don't think this will be back in my shuffle...... the 5 star system is so hard!! the 3 star albums are so nuanced and some are better than others!

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith

i think it's okay to remove some albums from the list

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Sep 25 2026

warm fuzzy freaky, very distinct divide between those who can handle textured noise as a driving force in music and those who cannot

Maverick A Strike by Finley Quaye

whatever. i just think imitating an accent you don't have in music is so weird. could have been good fusing genres together but it was mostly boring

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council

they reeled me in with the tracey thorn feature! the rap was a little kooky and corny, but the lyricism was thoughtful and i will always commend artists who create lyrics about society/activism. will have to give it a few more listens, but there were definitely a few songs that i didn't care for. i am continuously shocked by how many people on here refuse to do the very thing this book is trying to encourage: expanding your music taste with new genres and artists. god forbid!

needed more passion, more energy; if i'm going to listen to a man sing he needs to put more effort in the delivery

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths

it will always just be a little tainted by morrissey's big fat head, to me at least

all of my 3 stars are so conflicting!!!! some good ones, some kooky ones, but just unsure if this would make it to my casual listening...
