What a good album! Sort of thing I would’ve hated when I was younger. Now makes me want to have a smoke and dance around in my bedroom. Literally can’t stop myself from tapping my toes
Before listening: don’t think I know a single wu tang song. Do know they’re iconic. Seems like something I would like During listening: no songs standing out so far but enjoying the album. Something I would listen to while chilling with friends. Groovy After: solid album. Not sure it’s something I would listen to regularly but can see the influence it’s had. Enjoyable still
Before listening: already know a couple of songs off this album. Not my faves but definitely catchy. Interested to see where it goes During: sweet sixteen is great if I don’t listen to the lyrics. Passenger is overplayed but it slaps so it’s ok. Why so many lyrics about how young they are?? After: overall good album. Fun to listen to, and a bit unusual. Put off by the lyrics a little lol. Fave song - turning blue

Way better than I expected. Knew Springsteen for Born in the USA (obviously). This was so much softer, and easy to listen to.
Before listening: I generally enjoy the cure. Not listened to loads of their stuff, so this should be fun During: as expected so far. Feels a little less polished than their later albums, not necessarily a bad thing After: enjoyable, less poppy than some of their songs. You can see where they’re headed
