Appreciate it for what it was at the time and what it did for its genre but found it very basic.
Not bad as background music. Couldn’t really tell the difference between the songs. Wouldn’t deliberately listen to it again. Boring.
Fun beach pop
Loved this! So funky and of it’s time but still holds out today. Gotta love some smooth beats and horns.
Was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this album. Still holds up today and I’d say their non-singles are much better than their singles.
After reading up on Ian Curtis I now understand why the album was the way it was. A complete look into his mind before committing suicide. Very depressing.
This still hasn’t convinced me that Bruce Springsteen can sing, but I can appreciate that Americans and especially those from his era would really like his storytelling. The sax in the songs is fantastic.
Super fun British pop. Really enjoyed it!
Loved his voice!
Didn’t think I could be converted into a Bruce fan but this album may have just done the trick.
Don’t love the music but really appreciate what Iggy Pop did for the genre overall.
So much 90s angst. I loved it!
Play Dead is such a powerful song. Loved every minute of this album. My first 5 star rating!
The orchestral moments on this earned it an extra star. Way more depth than your average 80s pop album.
Not a massive fan of Farrell’s vocals but it’s obvious these guys are extremely talented musicians.
She couldn’t have gone up an octave? Had to skip some of the songs because I couldn’t stand her voice.
This was a cool, chill listen. Would definitely listen again.
