1001 Albums Summary

Starts off very strong, falls off a bit but still overall solid album. Some surprising folksy stuff in there.

Not bad, probably wouldn't relisten. Can hear some of the early development of rock guitar sounds coming through.

Starts strong, ends strong. Great flow and beats. Lyrics are decent. It's Your World and Love Is are favorites.

Southern Rock for people who already like Southern Rock. Bland lyrics, bad singing, bad mix, okay guitar, bland drums. Not a good album at all.

Very British 60's rock and I love it. Of course its not anywhere near as tight as Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here (my personal favorite), but it brings a full experience of psychadelic sounds and lyrics. This won't be for everyone, but it's definitely for me.

Okay album. Songs are repetitive throughout each song and most of the songs sound similar to each other so it gets kind of boring. I'm sure some people like it, but not really for me.

Okay background noise. Maybe I need to listen to more to gain a better appreciation but it all blends for me. I WANT to like it but ehhh.

Solid album. It doesn't hit Graceland levels but Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard is an absolute smash.

Great album. Dusty has a great voice, the songs are engaging and fun.

An album that I can say is probably a very good album that just isn't for me. Really good voice, decent songs but just doesn't do a lot for me.

Really awesome album. Solid all the way through. The last song is probably the weakest lyrically but overall great.

You know the hits, other than that its okay. Lyrics are pretty bad at times but instruments are decent at least.

Not a bad album. Confessions was the most interesting to me. The style is interesting in one or two song bursts but gets a little stale over a full album.

I LOVE RATM and I love this album. Morello's lyrics are excellent even if they can be repetitive (to invoke protest chants but still). The guitar playing and energy though bring everything up to great.

Love talking heads songs but their albums are mostly okay. Solid album. But nothing spectacular.

Gave up after a few songs. It's not that it's awful. It's just the worst of background music. It's like a bad music soundtrack.

As a fuzzy person, I don't need this much extra fuzz in my life. It would be nice to at least understand some of the lyrics because the melody was okay at times. But no just more fuzz.

Mehhh. Better than the last Byrds album I had to listen to but not much. Instrumentals are good but the vocals are so boring. I feel like most songs sound the same.

Hit or miss for me. First song started off real strong. Karmacoma seemed weird and boring. Three was okay. Spyglass was enjoyable.

Great album as a whole. Holier than Thou is the weakest by far as it sounds like Weird Al doing a Metallica cover

Not bad. The voice feels genuine rather than a straight Bob Dylan rip-off but it is very close. Magic Hollow is definitely the star of the album

Not bad. Obviously has two massive hits on it. The rest isn't bad but such big drop offs.

Solid but not sure what it really brings to the table. Willie has a great voice but I'd like to get more from him.

Took me by surprise as a solid album. Is it deserving of being on this list? I'm doubtful but I'm glad to have listened to it and so I'm happy with it.

Decent album. Everybody wants to rule the world is one of my favorite songs. Most of the rest of the album doesn't hit as strong though
