All new kinks songs for me.

Send them the Iron Maiden. Excellent! Execute them. Bogus. Never listened to metal as a kid. I can hear the influences on modern bands I enjoy.

The sounds of my youth!

New genre. It was fun and groovy.

Watched the documentary; didn’t get it. Listened to first few songs; didn’t get it. Deeper into album it started to groove. Pulled it up from a 2 to a 3.

The moaning 🤣

Generic 80s Movie music. Does not stand out against their contemporaries like Duran Duran or others. Not memorable.

I’m a bigger fan of Labcabincalifornia but this is still great.

This album feels like a greatest hits. Every song composition was different. Freedom! ‘90 is a quintessential pop song and no other song on the album sounds like it. You’ve got ballads, acoustics, noir jazz, country, bongos, and island sounds.

This labeled Rock. It was not rock in my opinion. If it was labeled Folk I could give a 3. It’s silly but my mind was blocked by the label.

Heck yeah. Wish I listened to this more in my youth.
