Hot Shots II
The Beta BandOccasionally great, occasional meh. Straight down the middle for me.
Occasionally great, occasional meh. Straight down the middle for me.
Man, hell no. Pretentious nonsense.
Heard it before without ever really listening. Stevie in his absolute prime.
Have owned this album since it came out and it still holds up.
Wish I would have discover this earlier, would have loved it.
Literally the first album I ever owned.
This album is hoooooorny. But it's got some fantastic songs too.
I have no idea what the lead singer is saying at least half the time, but surprisingly fun album. Love the horns and strings all over this album.
Apparently one of the most overrated albums ever. This thing was super repetitive.
Wow, this was great. Had only heard the 2 big radio songs before but this was stacked start to finish, outside of the weird longing for an architect.
It was good, but their next album is the classic.
Good atmospheric jams
Oh crap, this is not what I thought Morrissey sounded like!
Fantastic, peak Stones.
Found some unexpected and great chord progressions here
Good, but runs out of steam in the second half.
So, so 80s
One of the greatest albums ever, nothing more to say
I mean, they're fine but I'm surprised they made this list.
Same thing I initially thought, would have been much better condensed into 1 album.
Really good Neil Young album that I hadn't heard yet.
I wish we could give half stars on this.
Very meh outside of Tainted Love. Complete opposite of Dexy and his Midnight Runners.
Absolutely loved it.
Not for me, Clyde. But I like the guitar arrangements.
Apparently I'm a fan of the Replacements now. Gonna dive into them deeper.
One of my stranded on a desert island albums. Easy 5.
It was nice to hear 90s rock that I hadn't heard, but this was pretty average.
First off, this album is not on Amazon Music, so I checked out their greatest hits. Our House is a great song. And every other song sounds just like it.
Had it on in the background and wasn't really locked it but there was something there that made me want to give it another run. Listened again with headphones on and yeah, now I get it.
Well, this was just fantastic.
It's really good Bruce, but not elite Bruce.
It's a great metal album, probably Metallica's best. I would really like to hear a remastered version with the bottom end brought up though, super high on the treble.
This is really really great. The reggae song is total trash, but otherwise this one crushes.
Amazing sound quality for a concert over 50 years old. Not my favorite Who songs though
I wish country music still sounded like this.
One of my favorite albums that I've owned for like 20 years. What do you think?
Same song for 30 minutes, but I loved some of them, so 3?
Much better than Cream, and I'm getting curious how much Clapton is on this list. Still a solid British blues album from when they were all stealing licks and songs.
Really like the instrumentation here, but the singer is terrible.
🔥 Immediately added to the rotation.
Great music for doing drugs.
I can't even get high enough to make this interesting.
Incredible voice, but needs more variety
I love this album front to back.
Nope, nothing there that I liked
Feels like the bridge album between early and late Beatles.
Fantastic album, trails off a bit at the end. Little bit tighter track list and it's a 5.
Much better than anticipated. Cool sounds here worth a revisit.
This was the most punk rock album I've ever heard.
Unexpectedly, it was exactly what I needed. Great swing music from the 50s. Just fun as hell.
Good, but not blown away. Hard to compare some of the older albums because they formed so much of what came later.
Funky as shit and wildly more progressive than I thought the Temptations were.
Heard nothing that The Cure weren't doing 10 times better at the time. The Seven Mary Three of 80s gothiness
You can see the roots of the Gorillaz in thos album for sure
Gets a bit repetitive, but some huge songs on here
Like a mix of early Pink Floyd with a touch of metal and general weirdness. I liked it!
Undeniable bangers on here, but too many damn skits.
Just awful singing, flat untuned garbage.
One of the greatest R&B albums ever made. No other notes.
Please feed me more like this. About to start listening to these guys on the reg.
It's crazy how many one liners from this album still show up in rap songs. Classic and wild influential
I like the highs a lot, but it loses focus at times and it's easy to tune out
Occasionally great, occasional meh. Straight down the middle for me.
Ladies and gentlemen, the formation of a Chad right here. Heard this all the time growing up. And yet,.......not a complete album.
Didn't really work for me, feel like you have to be in the right mood to sink into this one.
Don't feel like I know enough jazz to have a proper opinion, but was great background music.
Much better than I've ever given this band the credit for.
This absolutely takes me back to a particular place and time. It's a bit repetitive, but it's also fantastic to listen to with a buzz.
Fun fuzzy alt rock. Dinosaur Jr is awesome.
Man, hell no. Pretentious nonsense.
