Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's

The Hammond Organ is unmistakable, and the title track is one of the best blues compositions ever written. But while there are some other good covers on the album, they all seem to kind of run together, and there are few covers that I prefer to the originals. But the whole sound of the album is still really nice so I'm only deducting one star.

I had to go back and forth debating whether I wanted to rank this album according to how groundbreaking it is (I usually give a star just for that even on albums I dislike), or according to how listenable it is. I went with the latter because I never want to listen to this album again. First one on this list I've given a 1 star rating.
