Green Dayone star is just for jesus of suburbia. kind of the jesus of suburbia of our generation
one star is just for jesus of suburbia. kind of the jesus of suburbia of our generation
never listened to this before but it's definitely a slay. lots of variety
more entertaining than i expected... the vocals are definitely a highlight
i've listened to this so much... it's got some of my favorite things which are arctic monkeys and 60s vibes and the orchestration makes it go crazy. it's nothing groundbreaking so i was surprised to see it here... but it is good. not too much variety in these songs though, i never pay too much attention when this is on... "the meeting place" is so good though
this is probably more like a 4.5 really. i have listened before this but not extensively. prog rock time. it's not entirely what i gravitate toward but this might have changed my mind a bit... it does kinda get a bit boring in the middle there but overall i really enjoyed listening.
vibes established. it's difficult as someone who rarely listens to jazz to know how to rate this. it should probably be higher in terms of like, HISTORY, but for me i'd say it's very enjoyable but not my favorite thing. for me personally it's maybe more like a 3.5 but that feels wrong so 4 🌟
sounds like being trapped in a demon bar. i like ace of spades, but the rest of the album is consistently not really my thing. some pretty awful lyrics here... also fun fact: "the hammer" in question? maxwell's silver, of course
🦞ROCK LOBSTER🦞 ... awesome no notes.
gimme shelter and you can't always get what you want. some of the songs of ALL time PERIODDDDD. i don't really care that the middle of the album is more forgettable. it's fine and i always liked most of them anyway like fuck yes keep doing that honky tonk shit
goofy as hell. classic shit
i was prepared not to enjoy this but i am favorably impressed
they got bangers on here. some bangers of all time
it's just fun you know
hell yes. i dont know if this is their Best but it does slay. i do however wish i didn't think of robert downey jr every time that iron man riff plays... ugh
i think the nick drake rating by #me is pink moon > five leaves left > bryter layter but i cannot deny i LOVE this guy. it's like an 8.5/10
i have not voluntarily listened to michael jackson in SO long. but there are straight bangers here. god tier groovy shit. i could listen to don't stop til you get enough 50x in a row i fear. and i have not listened to this album in its entirety before, so it was interesting. i'm crying because i only knew the version of "girlfriend" that's on london town #PAUL and it's soooo funny to be like. oh yeah this is a mj song. right. that guy
UGHHHHHHHHH BEST THING ON EARTH. among others. extremely formative album for me. nostalgic but always feels like i'm listening to it for the first time somehow. thematically this is just crazy and so much darker and weirder than ziggy stardust... musically too! when you hear that freaking opening piano to watch that man... ! the absolute serve that is side A of this album like oh my god. and then "time" is one of his best songs of all time. SO JOT THAT DOWN. i think the back half is slightly less engaging but lady grinning soul is also perfect. so. no notes! ⚡️
these songs are soooo amazing. and i actually always enjoyed her voice a lot... "emily" is just... wow. i do think it does get a bit hard to listen and engage with it for the full run of the album. but that would probably change if i got a bit more familiar with the songs. it's so good.
definitely some honky tonk shit to be had here. i enjoyed!
this is fun shout out croydon
sorry for liking the damn smiths. it will happen again
they were cooking here. but maybe a little too much
bust out the fiddle and the harmonica this is fun as hell
i wish this was on apple music SO bad because this was really really nice. i'm so behind on these that i cant listen too extensively right now but i enjoyed what i heard. excellent vibes
ok this one does hit.
it took me a long time to listen to this because i had to shift my brain over to listening to hip hop. but it really is excellent. iconique.
it does sound pretty good but also not exactly my fav style of music and i didn't need to know all that
i could give this a 5 but i sometimes it's just like. No. i shan't. anyway my favorite off this one is ramble on. i am into shit like that
maybe this would hit if 9/11 just happened. i understand why it exists but i do not need to hear any of these songs again. i'm gonna go play born in the USA
i listened to this while cleaning the house and doing various chores and it feels like a spa. very nice vibes, calm but interesting enough to just listen to... i did feel like it got a bit tiring after a while though. would be cool if i knew what they were singing about!!
i feel like. there's some songs on here i realized i Really enjoy... i've listened to this album before but never that attentively and i feel like the reason is because the back half starts to kinda drag. the good parts are great, but the rest of it kinda ... well... blurs together... into a low-fi drone with a british guy saying something to me. and that's okay.
wasn't really expecting to like this but you know what. it's fine. got some bangers here. not offending me. a haw-haw-haw
i generally enjoy the arctic monkeys but for some reason this album just kinda bores me after a while
it's somewhere between a 3 and a 4 just for the drama and paradise by the dashboard light. respect truly. it's not something i'd really choose to listen to though
yeaaaaaah this is still hitting. i'm not even the biggest radiohead guy but like what am i supposed to say
i listened to this a few times over like a month and that of course means i like it more now. i already liked riders on the storm and LA woman but it was the first time i'd really sat with this album... probably a 4.5 but imo not fully there so we're at a 4
honestly this is a fun ass album and the title track is amazing and the rest of it is just like. engaging... never know what's gonna happen on here... i like it
i've listened to this a lot and it just continues to grow on me... maybe some day this will become 5 stars in my mind... for now i say 4 i like you stephen you are my friend
sooo good i wish it was on streaming :(
it should be a 5 but i cannot give it a 5 for multiple reasons not limited to.... paul's contribution.... anyway. you could delete 3 tracks from this and then i think it would be a 5.
aesthetically such a fun time and tainted love is epic.... bedsitter is real as hell... secret life...
second radiohead album i listened to today... actually i think i like this better than kid A but maybe that's just because i listened to it more growing up
not bad tracks, mostly pretty catchy and i wasn't mad...! very spectorized of course... and the sound quality on a lot of them is Bad. also i think it could be shorter...
the first album that made me understand the majesty of wings... for that it should get a 5 but even if i didn't think that it has nineteen hundred and eighty-five on it. among other tracks that are most precious to me. no words for my love...
too long.... sorry... rather be listening to ASTRAL WEEKS.
what do you want me to say. he came in here mad as hell. if i were paul and john i would be really scared right now. sometimes you do get overly phil spectorized i guess with some of these but it's probably the only time i don't care. whatever. all things must pass bitch
not so down with this... it's not awful but i don't really wanna hear it again
thank you leonard for famous blue raincoat
fun! kinda all sounds the same. not in a bad way. i like these guys
i liked this so much more than i expected to. and not that i didn't expect to enjoy her but omg it is so excellent... maybe it's not a perfect 5 but i'm doing it anyway
i had never really listened to this before besides the hits so it took a few listens to click but those vocals.... the harmonies... when these tracks are at their best it's like peering into another universe
when the singles are good and catchy they are very that. but i dont really want to hear this Entire album. also it actually sounds really bad, like this mix is really awful
i feel like this album is solid and sonically enjoyable very 90s... i am feeling a 3.5 which could round down to a 3 or it could go up to a 4 because one time i saw garbage at a music festival as a teenager and everyone in the audience annoyed me so i thought i hated garbage for years but it turns out they're not so bad. so maybe that merits a 4.
nice but a bit boring innit
YEAHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i've never listened to them before this... i think initially i was impressed but as it went on i feel like it just lost my interest... i think i'll still listen to their other albums though
i still enjoy a lot of these songs but listening to the whole album gave me a feeling of fatigue hearing her sing like that. realizing maybe this didn't age incredibly well. still enjoyable though. we love you homemade dynamite and liability and supercut
i love you hunky dory is this a 4.5 not a 5? maybe. but that isn't going to stop me. it has life on mars? on it anyway so it's automatically 5 stars.
i love love this album, i grew up with it so that's probably why but i think all these songs are fantastic and her voice and the arrangement is just soooo evocative. it's so nostalgic and melancholic.... you will always be famous
favorite nick drake album maybe one of the most beautiful things that ever existed. just a thought. bingamoo is onis wey 🩷
