The Wall
Pink Floyd1st album one of my already all time faves don't mind listening to it again :)
1st album one of my already all time faves don't mind listening to it again :)
Roundabout slaps so hard as an opener that by itself would give this album a solid rating. But then the rest of the tracks are of almost the same quality, first time listening to this album and can't wait to replay it already. I can see why my dad loved this band :)
Lots of great songs here that I liked but didn't even know where by Duran Duran like Hungry like the Wolf and Save a Prayer. Lots of rythm here and a very fun album overall, at first listen I didn't think there was a weak or boring song here.
Really enjoyed this one, super chill stuff.
Bunch of alright songs, not sure about the historical context behind the album. A few decent riffs here and there that made me headbang, sounds like a mix between doom/sludge/Stoner. Nothing to write home about if I have to be honest.
Not a single bad track, not a dull moment here.
The second half of the album after 50ft queen (the one greay song here) is definitely better than the snooze fest that the first half is but not by much. Then again this whole album was really not for me I reckon
An absolutely enjoyable ride from beginning to end
I've been dealing with gastritis, meaning I can only eat bland food with no spices. Last night I grilled some chicken with just salt and added some unsalted, plain white rice. It was the most bland meal I've ever had. Somehow, this album managed to be even more bland.
The biggest sin this album commits it's overstating it's welcome. I really think that if they had trimmed at least 1/3 of it, it would be a much tighter and quality album. The songwriting is compelling for the most parts with some interesting ones such as the opening track, zip city and three Alabama icons among others. Unfortunately most of the album is just forgettable tho I will admit this is not rrally my thing, I can see how someone who appreciates southern rock, culture and this type of storytelling will definitely enjoy this more. Deserves to be in this list nonetheless.
Forgettable af
Taj Mahal made me get up off my couch and start dancing, the rest of album is good but wish there were morr full of lively feel good bangers like this one
