Linkin Parkrelisten. if you didn't grow up with an older sibling in the 00s you probably don't get it. i feel like every time i listen to this album it's better than i remembered

relisten. liked it better than the first time id ever listened to it (circa 2017). the opening song is incredible but it feels like it promises an incredible album that never comes and then it just goes down from there. still a solid, coherent album with a pleasant 90s vibe. might even go back to it sometimes.
first in entirety listen. very cool and funky. the late 80s/early 90s old school hip-hop is my favourite.
first listen. typical REM album, pleasant to the ear but absolutely nothing stands out and leaves you wising it was heavier or there was more going on.
relisten. the best Elton John album and one of the absolute best albums of the 70s or even of all time. not a single skip for all the 75 minutes. so beautiful, nostalgic and catchy. sounds like a good memory, old friend or a sunny day.
relisten. not many albums make me wanna get up and dance the way this one does. the title is literally spot on.
relisten. very solid album, many great songs but at the end of the day not really my cup of tea.
first listen. i tried really hard but i didnt like this album at all. it just went from boring to annoying. i prefer Simon and Garfunkel together
first listen. i had no idea Bjork used to be in a band but i really liked this album. i will be most definitely revisiting it.
first listen. pretty good but not very memorable tbh.
first listen. interesting but not my cup of tea.
first listen. not my thing.
first listen. pretty good, not something i would put on myself tho.
relisten. great record, it was nice to revisit it. its not my favourite Dre album tho.
first listen. such a fun album!! i will definitely revisit it.
first listen. this album is phenomenal!! so grateful to this list for introducing me to it. now im gonna listen to Piano Joint (This Kind Of Love) on repeat!!
first listen in entirety. i know its a very good and influential album in general but at the end of the day i don't think I'll come back to it.
relisten. im not the biggest fan of the early Beatles, i much prefer their albums from the late 60s but this one is very pleasant .
relisten. great album
first listen. i cant believe i had never heard of this band before but im obsessed!!!! this album sounds like something engineered to be exactly my taste. another proof that music peaked in the 90s.
relisten. i just love Sonic Youth.
relisten. ironic, legendary showstopping.
relisten. one of the greatest and probably most underrated albums of the entire 60s. so many absolute bangers. still cant believe they put she has funny cars, somebody to love, today, white rabbit and plastic fantastic lover on the same album.
first listen. ive been refusing to listen to Morrissey's solo music for like 10 years now and apparently I was right to do so. Cant believe how cringe the lyrics are. This album in general is so much worse than i expected it to be and i already expected it to be bad. It got better in the second half but after that beginning it was really hard to get into it.
first listen in entirety. cool but not my favourite daft punk album
first listen. Very cool music really did peak in the 90s
first listen in entirety

first listen. pretty cool but i doubt ill ever come back to it
relisten. talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before
first listen. it wasnt that bad but i simply do not enjoy reggae music like at all
first listen. nice , pleasant to the ear, will probably come back to it to pick some songs for my 60s playlist
relisten. i love everything about this record, especially ms Lauryn Hill, i believe she's the reason why it stands out of the crowd so much even tho so many legendary hip-hop albums were released around the same time
relisten. devastatingly beautiful
relisten. great album 0 skips
relisten. if you didn't grow up with an older sibling in the 00s you probably don't get it. i feel like every time i listen to this album it's better than i remembered

first listen. lovely
first listen. hated it couldn't even go through the whole thing
relisten. my 2nd favourite album of my favourite band of all time. i love everything Blur has done but this record and 13 (1999) changed my life and music taste forever. its the epitome of the late 90s music and everything ive ever wanted from an album. i also appreciate how balanced and diverse it is with fun tracks like On Your Own, moody tracks like Beetlebum, devastating tracks like Strange News from Another Star and the experimental tracks on which they really let their imagination flow like Essex Dogs and Death of a Party. i also think this was the first time they implemented that spooky sound (Theme from Retro, Death of a Party) that they later perfected on 13 and Damon carried over to Gorillaz (which was always my favourite part of Gorillaz early projects). long story short: amazing album that influenced even more amazing music
