It's a good album, but not really my style of music. Can see why people like it, though.
Good jazz album. Started a bit too abstract, but I quite liked it.
Good album, but everything sounds a bit the same
The Clash is better than I thought.
Very good jazz. A bit more fast paced than the stuff I usually like, but very good nonetheless.
Good blues, but nothing that special?
Good prog rock album. Not something I'd listen to every day, but has its place.
Amazing album. Such chill, but powerful music.
Meh, quite boring. Can be fun in the right mood, but overrated.
A surprisingly unique album! Very interesting mix of Indian music with electronic. Not exactly my kind, but can see how it's considered a good album for the originality.
Very chill, bit of psychedelic album. Quite enjoyed it, and listened to it at work. If listening to at home, would probably like it even more. Probably worth a re-listen to later.
Indie chill, but I don't see why it's in the list.
Another cool psychedelic album. I don't even remember half of these songs in the movie, though.
Fun funky album.
Fun 90s electronic album. A bit outdate, but can definitely see why it was popular back then.
Another retro psychodelic good album, but nothing special.
Interesting indie punk album. But not really my vibe.
Great funky jazz album. The song that gives name to the album is such a great classic.
Just sounds like a very generic 80s pop album? It changes a bit the genre throughout the album, but still nothing special.
Krautrock. Another psychedelic voyage. Like some moments where it breaks the musicality.
Classic afro jazz album. I was expecting more, but not bad. Felt a bit repetitive.
He was better with the beatles...
Good funky 80s music. Prince is good.
Extremely unique album. A mix of so many different styles. Something a bit electronic vibes, but oldsh style, some part almost a bit folkish , a lot of influence from pop, a lot of rap.
Good slow paced, but deep jazz. The types that would play in a fancy NY rooftop in a movie. Probably a bit too busy to have just as background music, but great if you want to actually pay attention to it.
Just Bowie
Such an amazing album from Black Sabbath. Makes me want to go back and start a band again.
Such a funky album! Liked it much better on the second listen than the first.
Liked more than I thought I would, given it's U2. Sunday Bloody Sunday continues to be a great song.
Apparently not really my thing? Felt like a totally forgettable album.
One of the best of the 80s, which is definitely not my favourite decade. Feel like I should give it a 4, but still felt like giving a 3 for some reason. Great classic songs, and even the more unknown ones do not disappoint.
Chill good psychedelic album. Should probably listen to it more.
When the worst song in your album is Black Mountain Side you know it meant something.
Just a stellar album. Such a shame we lost her so early!
As much as he is an asshole, one can't deny that this is a great album
Really reminds me of Janes Joplin, but a bit more pop style.
Not a bad album, but just felt like quite generic blues? I imagine it was probably perceived as a bit more groundbreaking when it first came out.
I liked it way more than expected, given that I'm not someone who listens to REM very often. They definitely have their style.
Definitely a side of the stones that I didn't know! Way more "country" than I expected!
Think I expected more from an Elton John album? Not bad, but I usually like him more than I liked that album
It's fun how much early rock and roll was very country like. But I liked it more than I expected, as I'm usually not that much of a fan of 50s music!
Not bad, but not really my thing? I'd probably listen to most type of jazz before really enjoying this album.
Surprisingly cool little rock band. Nothing that special, but was a fun listen and something new to discover.
Like Whitesnake, but a bit more glam and worse.
Even though her music is quite "basic", it's ridiculous how good to listen to it is. 15 years listening to this stuff and it doesn't get any worse.
Sublime as always
The day I discovered that Capital Inicial's song is actually a cover from Iggy Pop! Good album, but very different style of songs throughout it? Almost doesn't feel cohesive, despite them individually being good!
It's almost comical how bad some of these heavy metal bands are.
Meh american rock country
Not my favourite Radiohead album, but definitely a good one! It's interesting that it sounds a bit more raw than usual, like if it was their first album, rather than one of the more recent ones. Also gives me quite a bit of Muse vibes (although the influence certainly is in the other direction, haha)
A surprisingly good album!! Had never heard about the band before, but way better than your average 70s rock band!
Definitely did not expect the opening of the album in portuguese! Cool vibes, but a bit too abstract for my taste. Wouldn't listen to this often, but can definitely appreciate that it's good!
There are some good songs here and there, but the majority is just sufferable. Very generic pop. The good songs save it from being 1*.
Like a even more chill bee gees
Not as good as Meteora, but a great combination of rap and rock!
Not as good as "Green", but still a decent listen.
Maybe electronic music was way more basic in the 2000s? But seem a very whatever album.
So groovy! Much better than I expected. Had already heard of her before, but never stopped to actually listen to it.
A 3 that is almost a 4! I usually don't like that style of music that much. Can get boring pretty easily, but he did in a masterclass way! Made me really enjoy a type of music that is usually not my taste!
Less Reggae-y than I expected, and better than I was thought it was going to be!
Such a dreamy album! Deserves to be listened to under acid or shrooms!
A bit underwhelming. Very similar sounding from the beginning to the end. Little variance in flow.
The popularization of punk
Definitely an experience
