So
Peter Gabrielanother great album, loved having a little boogie to a few of these songs- sledgehammers always good. for obvious reasons very genesis, phil collins esque

haven’t listened to much prince but it made me feel a certain nostalgia for a time i didn’t experience. a few songs gave very protest song vibes
Great classic rock album, electrifying guitar riffs and strong drums mixed with intoxicating vocals. Many a fav in this album- the last three especially a good crescendo ending
Really enjoyed this album, a sort of folk/rock sound that is reminiscent of my mums favourite Paul Simon. Enjoyed the longer songs, I’ve seen all good people was a favourite.

enjoyed this album, have an iconic sound, no songs too distinctive but overall liked.
another band i’ve yet to delve into but iconic nonetheless- white horse was my fav song, music insanely good and voice on par
not something i ever would have discovered on my own, intelligent and provocative vocals in each song back by a fun swing beat. always random aswell when you discover a song that is the sample of one you love
i liked this album, the type is rock is similar to oasis and the singing of the waterboys, unique songs liked she’s not dead the most
very very rogue but love the rhythm shifts and strong drum beats throughout the songs. could imagine it in a house song ahah
a bit spooky but loved the kinda punk rock vibe, a trend i’ve noticed with older music is the meaning and protest often nestled into the song.
so interesting listening to live versions of songs, always takes me a while warm up to bob dylan, such a lyricist
Apprehensive at first as started off very hard rock, like the change in tone throughout the album.
fav song was “and then i read a book” kinda like talking heads. started off not liking much but the songs grew on me
solid album, not my fav genre but appreciate the era of music, we got the beat was my fav song
powerful, passionate and sensual
made me want to have a good boogie 🕺🕺
little bit tracy chapman vibes- nice album, great lyrics and groovy music- fav song was love and affection
actually my favourite album yet, such a fun beat and groovy lyrics- watching the detectives, mystery dance and red shoes were some favs
my new “lock in” album ahah
i really do like the rolling stones, i’m not sure how or why i hadn’t listened to them much before but you can’t beat them. liked monkey man and let it bleed made me giggle
undeniably talented and extraordinary voice, not my usual genre but still great
i liked this album kind of a soulful soft rock, opening song was my favourite. a nice mix of instrumentals, rhythm and lyrics- would like to listen to more steely dan
I was so pleasantly surprised by this album, the incorporation of different tones and rhythms while maintaining an overall catchy album is impressive. love when artists incorporate strange sounds, very unsettling and slightly eery ahah
no denying she has the voice of an angel, the lyrics aswell have a soulful feel calming you into a joyful and mellow state.
i love the smiths… i said i love the smiths LOVE the sass in this album- would recommend
can’t beat a bit of reggae, defs adding to the rotation
was not my vibe, but would like to give it another chance, didn’t help i was stressed when i chose to listen to it
i like this album, mix between rock and country sound- want to listen to more Neil Young
too long lol will get through it at another time
I LOVE THIS ALBUM, EVERY SONG IS BLISS!!!! fav song is probs reckoner.
really enjoyed this album, will listen again, vocals gorgeous and rhythm so fun.
liked this album a lot, groovy and a rock sound, one of my fav genres.
lovely, lovely album, gorgeous melodies paired with the perfect bluesy voice
i like this, it felt very man rock
random animal theme that i hadn’t noticed before. revolution 9 is super disconcerting. Overall really good album- favs- "For No One", "Yellow Submarine" and "Here, There, And Everywhere".
short and very sweet- homeward bound is a great track. felt very groovy and whimsical. What I've noticed with this older music is the interwoven political and social issues with the music- with an apparent message behind the music like a protest that you don't find as common in music these days. The music and art was the vessel for the movement and I think it brings so much more to the songs especially in retrospect.
absolute king of the game. everytime I listen I envy the people who were able to attend the free concert at Brighton in 2002.
shortest album i’ve ever heard, heavy punk rock, could imagine listening to this album while in a blind rage
so random to get this album today after Brian Wilson just died. Such fun and joyful tracks- great distinction between tracks.
a generational sound, love her voice
weirdly familiar even though i didn’t recognise any of the songs? kind of a rock, country, pop vibe could get my head around it but enjoyed it nonetheless.
very interesting i don’t think i’ve really heard such intriguing lyrics in a song before.
i think this is my fav kanye album, runaway just hits different.
feels like the og “fuck men” album- like sabrina carpenter is a modern day pop version of loretta lynn.
so random bc i so close to listening to this album yesterday, really liked it, will have to listen to more
enjoyed this and put some in my loop
feel rather nostalgic about bruce springsteen, my parents love him and always played him growing, im on fire is lovely
old school dnb lol
