OK, not as good as I expected
Ett par bra sanger. OK.
I can see how this album is on the list.
OK, I guess. Not his greatest hits.
...make sure to turn down the volume at the very start. mawp, mawp. Messy jazz without rythm.
Yeah!
Groovy.
Meh... not really my jam.
...welp, this was a mess. A reasonably pleasant mess, but still.
Probably decent 90's rap... but rap isn't really my thing.
Now this is more like it! Perfect score.
Knockoff Beatles. Pretty decent for what it is though. Mono can be annoying with earbuds.
Definitively some hits here! That 70's groove.
This one has a lot of hits!
Meh. Bland. It's OK-ish, but nothing special.
"Common people" is good! Rest is OK.
Running up that hill is decent! Rest is OK-ish.
...abrasive, and slightly painful. Is it meant to sound like shit? (Yeah, the warbling low-fi sound seems to be the same across different platforms.)
OK background music. "Hell is around the corner" is decent, but not great! Not really melodic enough for me.
Late 80's rock. Not bad, but nothing groundbreaking ...or rather it probably was, in the 80's.
Not their best album, but I mean it's the Beatles! Definitively more melodic, compared with a lot of the other albums I've listened to lately.
"Tutti Frutti" is great! I don't even really dance, but I can't help but tap my feet and fingers to the beat!
Psycho killer is good! Mood; 70's giddiness! Lyrics; Small everyday oddities. "My building has every convenience It's gonna make life easy for me It's gonna be easy to get things done" (...) "Loved ones, loved ones visit the building Take the highway, park and come up and see me"
Reminds me of the Beatles... just less melodic and with a few screechingly painful sections.
Meh.
Mono is not optimal for headphones. ...reminds me of daytime TV intro-music. It's got some groove though! 3/5
Decent 70's music... but it kinda fades to the background. Nice guitar work though. 3/5
Not what I expected. Very soothing and pleasant. Muzak vibes. The lyrics are... interesting. 4/5
The backup singers reminds me of xtian music. I thought there'd be more screaming xp. Reasonably melodic. The individual songs can be a bit repetetive, probably good when high, but I'm not... currently. 4/5
Decent late 70's punk rock. 3,5/5
Yes, just yes. I mean it's Nirvana! 5/5
More melodic than I would have thought. Very pleasantly surprised! 4/5
Say what you will about ZZ Top, it's decent 80's blues inspired rock! 3/5
Not really my genre. "Ms. Jackson" is good though. 3/5
Psychedelically pleasant listening. 3/5
Eh... not bad, but I don't really see what the hype is about. I'd probably have a different opinion if I'd heard it in the 80's and had feelings of nostalgia for it. 3/5
Some groovy songs here! "Bad moon rising", is great of course. 3,7/5
A bit bland. 2/5
Not really my thing, but some of it is decently laid-back. 2,5/5
Decent blues-rock. Nothing ground breaking... well, at least from a first time listener 36 years after release. Might have been ground breaking at the time though. idk. 3/5
Decent.
"Fight for Your Right" is great of course. The rest are OK. Some iconic songs, but not anything I'd put on my playlists. 3/5
Pretty good. None of the all time greatest hits, but every song is still above average. Melodic and atmospheric. 3,7/5
Not bad. Maybe a bit "background music'y" 3/5
...not very pleasant listening, to my ears. Not melodic. Grung-y, but nothing like Nirvana which has much more feeling in their song. Shrieking "chalkboard" guitar at times. ...please just be done soon, so I can listen to something else! 1,5/5
First reaction was; "I mean, it's not Freebird, but it's easy listening." ...then Freebird comes on. xD 3,7/5
Very 80's. Much sledgehammer! ...wow Reminds me of that old tv show with David Rasche. Don't Give Up is good. 3/5
Groovy start. Expositional intro music. Easy listening. ...Feels kinda like an Austin Powers movie, except they're not being satirical about it. 3,5/5
Background music. 2/5
I mean, as names go, that's certainly one of them... Good guitar work. Pleasant blues music. 3,5/5
Message in a bottle is good, but the tempo seems a bit off in comparison with modern music. Walking on the moon is good. ...I'm not high enough for "on any other day". 3.4/5
First reaction; I could dig this. Maybe something to add to my playlists. Second reaction; Decent, but I'd need a joint before I could enjoy this fully. 3,7/5
First reaction; ...the lyrics are a bit odd, but it's pretty pleasant listening. Each song is really long. I kinda had to check if I'd had a stroke at some point, as the lyrics are so whimsy and nonsensical. I don't think the song writer was sober when they wrote this. 3,5/5
First reaction; Is this the guy from Beac boys? (Yes it is.) I'm not really getting beach boys vibes though. Which I suppose isn't all that odd. Decent flow and feeling. But at the same time, kinda meh. 3/5
I mean, he do be ramblin'. 2,5/5
Calming and relaxing music. Pretty good, just not really my thing. Still, I'll give it 4/5
I mean, I can see why it was popular. 3/5
The titular song has strong Knights of cydonia vibes... Pretty good! All in all; might add them to a playlist. 4/5
Childhood memories. ...I remember it as being better though. Waterfalls is good of course. 3,5/5
Decent punk rock, especially considering it's from 1978. Never heard of the band though. 3/5
Very pleasant music... but it's definitively "sunday-dinner-at-mom's" music. 3/5
Pleasant piano plinkering. The performance is positively plonkers. Maybe a bit too free-form. Would prefer it to be more melodic. I can hear especially one guy yeling in the background... Might be the performer, or someone in the audience. I thought I'd enjoy this one, but it's kinda disappointing. 2/5
Back with another one of those block-rocking BEATS! ...the rest is pretty forgettable though. Never heard "The Private Psychedelic Reel", but it's surprisingly decent. 3/5
Decent music. Just not really my thing, and not really the mood I'm in atm. 3/5
Decent background music. Good guitar playing. 3/5
Decent background music, but nothing that really grabbed me. 3/5
Talkin' 'bout a Revolution" is great. "Fast Car" is great. "Behind the Wall" being acapella is... a choice. "Baby Can I Hold You" is great. 4/5
Budget Beatles. 3/5
The purposefully discordent music is a bit jarring. 2,5/5
Surprising proto-punk / garage-rock. Good guitar playing and blues-feel on "Motor City Is Burning" 3/5
...bit of a language barrier. I have no idea what these songs are about. Some nice rhythms though. 3/5
Great voice and powerfull singing. 4/5
Reminds me of Gåte. Surprisingly decent! 4/5
