Back to Mystery City by Hanoi Rocks

That's crazy how they added crazy sax solo in rocks songs at that time and that actually is really good especially in "Malibu Beach Nightmare". "Tooting Bec Wreck" wtfff was that intro and in the mid part of the song the singer sounded like Donnie Thornberry ahaha but the rest of the song was clearly awesome probably my favorite of the album. The rest of the album was good but a bit weird, I mean there is a weird atmosphere but that means they succeeded to create their own vibe that's dope for sure.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers

"Lively Up Yourself" what a really amazing song, I'm not a huge reggae fan but this one had a different vibe with the guitar and it worked pretty nicely, like more of a rock vibe but the mix of rock and reggae was amazing and what a damn f*ckin good sax solo. "No Woman No Cry" is a classic for sure but actually I'm not really impressed by it like I feel it's a bit overrated, it's a good song but nothing makes it special. "So Jah S'eh" was really nice, the lyrics were really great and well what a really special and viby voice Bob has, once again not a huge fan of reggae but this one hitted differently and was really enjoyable. In general, Bob's strenght comes from his lyrics which are insane for example in "Revolution" but also his voice and his singers which add something really attractive and catchy so basically as a non reggae listener I really enjoyed this album !

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

Damn starting with "Spinning Song" what a song the vibe with the synth is crazy and I almost cried like I had tears in my eyes, what a masterpiece. Those songs with the synth give me some sad Stranger Things vibes. Really weird but powerful and deep. That "Sun Forest" intro was amazing I really enjoyed it and that touched me a lot. The rest of the song is also sooo wonderful like the voices which accompany are insane, for me the best song of the album. That album was clearly a masterpiece, you could really feel the backstory behind this album and that feeling lasted during the entire album, that's a masterpiece a huge 4 but more of a 4,5.

Yeezus by Kanye West

Didn't listen to that album, don't want to support the artist.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Jan 30 2025

I love you and your voice Ella but please next time don't make it 6 disks fgs. The first one was an absolute banger ("Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" my favourite song for sure). Good album to have a classy date with profound conversations. Terrifying album cover but Ella's voice is too smooth so kinda disturbing.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Jan 31 2025

The second song is way too redundant and I think that most of the album is redundant like all the songs are built the same way. I feel like I'm not surprised by anything in this album after listening to one song, you get the mood, a cool mood but boring sometimes even if in some songs you have some great guitar solo like in "Pictures Of Home" or in "Never Before". Usually I don't like classic/mainstream rock bangers from the 70s but "Smoke On The Water" stands out from the crowd, the guitar riff is insaaaane and like I would have loved to listen to it in a concert. I'd like to apologize for saying that the whole album is redundant "Lazy" is incredibly insane, the intro is a masterclass, I think that the song coud have stayed without any lyrics because that part isn't as good as it was during the first 4min. But this song also gave me more of a groovy rock song and not a hard rock song. Special Mention to "When A Blind Man Cries", the slowest song of the album, there was more depth in this song, I usually don't really care about the lyrics but this one hitted me and I got stuck into it. Sad that they didn't make any other songs from this album more into this vibe. To conclude, the musicians are talented that's for sure but as I said way too redundant especially for the first songs but then 3 of them are absolutely insane and make this album better.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Feb 03 2025

Well I may not be objective but this album is a masterpiece, I used to listen to it when I was a teenage boy and that's still one of my favourite album for sure. What I love about this album is the vibe it brings, the singer's voice which is soo characteristic and I love it and also for me the best thing is their bridges in their songs. My top 3 since the beginning is "Somebody Told Me" (I SAID MAYBEEEEE, BABYYYY, PLEASEEEEEE), "All These Things That I've Done" (I GOT SOUL, BUT I'M NOT A SOLDIIIIER) and "Smile Like You Mean It" (I used to imagine this song when I was reading One Piece, when I first listened to this song, I was reading volume 41 where the Mugiwaras are on the court's roof, standing on front of Robin, Franky and the CP9. I don't know why but I always thought that this song would match perfectly with the scene. In conclusion, this album is insaaaaaaane, I love it, it's a big 5 for me.

Hotel California by Eagles
Feb 04 2025

"Hotel California" is obviously such a classic and actually I had a lot of misgivings about it but I really like it's catchy and I love the harpsichord vibe you can have in it and with a good solo guitar. "New Kid In Town" is BORIIIIING, I mean it just sounds like every other cheesy rock songs back from those days but nothing catchy or cool in this one. "Life in the Fast Lane" is good, with a really good guitar riff which they keep during the entire song. There was also a really good bridge. "Wasted Time" again a cheesy song but this time the vocals are pretty good and the lyrics as well. The piano and the drums are working pretty nicely in together for once not too much guitars which was good. The end of the album wasn't bad but nothing really tremendous sadly. To conclude, not a bad album but not a good one either, too cheesy and boring sometimes, who am I to judge but well yeah that's not so good clearly.

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 05 2025

"Country Home" : I'm sorry but that's my own tastes but I hate country and this one song in particular is awful and way too long stop that nooooow. "Fuckin' Up" was actually good I liked it as much as "Over And Over" thankfully this album starts to be clean and well I'm starting to be tired of rock albums but this one is not that bad. "Love to Burn" For once the WAY TOO LONG song was good the guitar solo at the end was actually pretty sick I loved it. "Farmer John" the "OoOoh Ooooh" part killed me, that's terrible I mean like it could have been something funny but this sounds so damn ridiculous sorry guys. Sooooo the album wasn't the best but wasn't the worse as well, some songs were nice with some good instrumental parts but the voice is kinda terrible, sorry Neil but your voice sucks a bit.

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Feb 06 2025

Finally not some old rock, I was even missing Ella Fitzgerald and her 3hours long album. Actually kinda hard to rate this one because I really enjoyed it but all songs were similar but there were some trumpet so I loved it. But I really wanted to dance the rumba or the cha-cha-cha while listening to this album even if I don't know how to dance. Good job my Tito !

New Forms by Roni Size
Feb 07 2025

General review today, well I'm not a huge fan of this kind of music like some songs were terrible to listen to like "New Forms" or "Mad Cat" but you had some really nice ones like "Railing", "Heroes" or even "Watching Windows". I generally don't like songs which are way too repetitive and so that's why I didn't succeed to get into it but I think that this guy made a lot for the dnb back in the 90s. So good job m8 I'm just not a huge fan of your music style.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 10 2025

"Lively Up Yourself" what a really amazing song, I'm not a huge reggae fan but this one had a different vibe with the guitar and it worked pretty nicely, like more of a rock vibe but the mix of rock and reggae was amazing and what a damn f*ckin good sax solo. "No Woman No Cry" is a classic for sure but actually I'm not really impressed by it like I feel it's a bit overrated, it's a good song but nothing makes it special. Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Feb 11 2025

That album was actually pretty sick, I'm sorry I didn't focus on it but listening to it while working was dope af so it was really enjoyable, I think it wouldn't be the kind of songs I would listen without any context but while working best thing evaaaaaa

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 12 2025

"Don't Panic" after listening to this one I remembered why I was a huge Coldplay fan when I was a kid because of the cool and chill vibes with melodies which stay in your mind. "Shiver" what a banger and Chris Martin clearly has a unique voice and the chords in it are amazing and the guitar riffs are dope af. "Spies" those kind of "electonic bugs" used in it are insane and again the melody is really good. "Yellow" and "Trouble" damned these 2 songs are incredible, like I don't know if these songs were used in a film or not but it would be insane for sure. So basically, I really enjoyed this album, it allowed me to remember some great time from my childhood and I could realize that even if Coldplay may have copy some songs, their debuts were great.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 13 2025

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Feb 14 2025

I listen to this album but wasn't focus on it so kinda complicated to judge and I didn't have the time to listen to it again but actually as I listened to it without being annoyed or anything like that I guess it was enjoyable and Aretha had a really nice voice anyways so that's clearly not bad and I recognize some bangers so it's a good one.

Feb 17 2025

I listened to it while working and actually that was good but I didn't pay attention to it but sometimes it was really catchy I was moving my body and enjoying, I'm sure that's a pretty good album but wasn't enough focused sorry.

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Feb 18 2025

Guess who's back !!! It's Neil Young & Crazy Horse, I almost missed them. The end of "Cinnamon Girl" was insaaane the guitar solo but with just the 2 first songs this country vibe is back again so the quality of the music and the melody is amazing buuut the country vibe isn't much my thing sadly. "Round & Round" was actually pretty touching, without any percussions it was pretty nice and I loved the chords of the main theme of the song and the lyrics were really beautiful. The rest of the album was not so bad, I'm not a huge fan of reallyyyyy long songs but these ones were really clean and catchy, the guitar's solo were good as well !

Feb 19 2025

Wasn't enough focused on that one, I appreciated the vibe, the singing was pretty special and enjoyable so I think that was a good one but nothing really special.

Feb 20 2025

The album wasn't bad at all actually in the last songs the looong guitar riffs were pretty insane so I really loved that and the rest of the album was catchy and good but that's not the type of music I'll listen everyday.

Another Green World by Brian Eno
Feb 21 2025

Well that sounds very experimental, I don't really know what to think about even if in the middle of the album you have some really good songs with lyrics like "I'll Come Running" or "Gold Hours" but most of the time I'm confused while listening to this album sometimes you have some weird mix of rythms that's a bit disturbing. That's clearly not my type of music but I have been able to enjoy it sometimes with some cool vibes that you can find in Klaatu songs or in The Alan Parsons Project songs.

Revolver by Beatles
Feb 24 2025

Actually I didn't know much about this album except from "Yellow Submarine" but damn directly with "Tax Man" that was insane so catchy, the guitars were amazing. "Eleanor Rigby" the violin was dope and I love the melody during the chorus really like mysterious but catchy I don't know how to explain it but that was dope af. "I'm Only Sleeping" wasn't the best song I didn't succeed to get into, like there were some weird moment during the song. "Love You To" didn't really like the song, just loved the indian instrument adding a really cool vibe to it sadly it wasn't used the best way to make the song fully enjoyable. WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE, YELLOW SUBMARINE what a baaaaanger obviously. Then the rest of the album was kinda boring but suddenly "Got To Get You Into My Life" arrived and that was a pure banger probably my favourite of the album. To conclude that album was good clearly not the best but you have a lot of really great songs and some classic ones to have.

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Feb 25 2025

Really enjoyable to listen it, the first songs were pretty good like the instrumental part was really good but the lyrics didn't really get me but then I really got into "Get It On" like that's for me the best of the album, there is this part in the chorus which catch your attention and you want to sing along. I also really enjoyed "Lean Women Blues", there was something in the singer's voice that was pretty nice. That was a good album, which made me discover some good ones but I wasn't amazed so that's a 3/3.5.

War by U2
Feb 26 2025

Well this album remember me of my childhood as my father is a huge U2 fan he used to listen to this album all the time and "Sunday Bloody Sunday" has a special place in my heart and also because of the meaning behind the lyrics which is a really sad story but I also remember "New Year's Day" at every New Year Eve which is also a really good memory so for me this album is incredibleeeee.

Parklife by Blur
Feb 27 2025

Really dope album cover, the 2 dogs are moods for sure. Well obviously "Girls and Boys" is a classic and a banger but I have to admit that I didn't enjoy the album at all like there were some good ones but that wasn't really enjoyable or catchy or viby and without "Girls and Boys" I think that I would rate it worse than that.

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Feb 28 2025

What a great album, this is modern samba, it reminds me of Astrud Gilberto work for sure and I love this vibe, I particulaarly liked "Sem Contençao" and "So Nice" that's sooo enjoyable and while listening to it I wanted to dance that's clearly a really good album !

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Mar 03 2025

Had some good ones but wasn't a huge fan of the album once again some songs are way too long.

Mar 04 2025

That was a really good album but I noticed something like for almost every song, it starts with the same rythmic riff so kinda disturbing which is also the same as "Blowin' in the Wind" so everytime a new song was starting I thought it was "Blowin in the Wind". So I don't really know if it's done to give a special tone like a specificity to show that this is "BOB DYLAN" like it's signature move or just it's a lazy move and he used it because it's easy to start a song like that. But it was a good album clearly not a banger but there was some good ones for sure.

Germfree Adolescents by X-Ray Spex
Mar 05 2025

I really appreciated this album, I loved the way they succeeded to use some sax in it like for a punk/rock band that's unusual to see this kind of instrument which is amazing. I really liked the energy of the band during the entire album and I love the way the singer screams the name of the song at the beginning of some like for "Art-I-Ficial" or "Genetic Engineering".

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Mar 06 2025

Not the type of music I'll keep in my playlists but there were some good ones like "The Case Continues" or "Streets of Berlin", she has a pretty nice voice and the duos sound really well.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Mar 07 2025

A really good album, he had such a vibe, I guess it should have been a really good album to listen while kissing or more a girl or a boy. Obviously "Allelujah" is an absolute banger, one of the best interpretation ever as Jeff isn't the creator of this song. I also really looove "Lover, You Should've Come Over" the lyrics are so damn good and the chords and everything. I also loved "Dream Brother" really touching song, the guitar riff adds something soo special and spiritual to the song and Jeff has such an insane voice. I usually don't like long songs but these ones are insaaaaane, damn that sucks that Jeff died so young because he could have made some more bangers that's for sure, rest in peace man and congrats for your insane work.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Mar 10 2025

Was a good album but didn't have much time to listen to it carefully but I appreciate some songs but I didn't succeed to get into it.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Mar 11 2025

Good album even if I didn't really succed to get into it but I think it's a really good work for sure just not my taste.

Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Mar 12 2025

Good album some songs were really catchy with a good vibe like "I hope You're Happy Now" or "Blue Chair" but sometimes his voice sounds kinda weird and some songs are a bit boring so not bad but wasn't really into it.

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Mar 13 2025

Not a huge fan of metal so I didn't really enjoy the album but it seemed like great work I guess so I can't say that it's really bad so that's a 2 but a small one.

All Hail the Queen by Queen Latifah
Mar 14 2025

Really groovy album I enjoyed it a lot. She is a real MC Queen that's for sure, I really got into "Ladies First" and "Queen of Royal Badness" which were reallyyyy awesome, she has such a great voice flow and a certain ego but that's funny.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Mar 17 2025

Really great album "Hero" is such a good one for sure a classic in a few years. The end of "Another Human Being" was kinda disturbing but the transitions with the beginning of the other songs are incredibleeee I loved it. And the vibe in general of this album was really great with such a deep and attracting voice.

The Band by The Band
Mar 18 2025

Really funny name really original, good ambiant music, wasn't focused much on lyrics but it was fun to listen but classic nothing particular.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
Mar 19 2025

Really cool vibe, I really got into the album with the first song. Some sounds used in the songs are weird but funny a good 3.5.

Hms Fable by Shack
Mar 20 2025

Good album but wasn't focus on it but most of the time really catchy especially "Beautiful" and "I Want You".

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Mar 21 2025

What a voice he has !!! Really chill and while listening to it made me want to dance and there were some really great sax parts. Good album in general that's for sure.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Mar 24 2025

Good album I like Arcade Fire but that wadn't their best one for sure so a bit disappointed like I didn't succeed to get into it at all at any time just sometimes some good melody parts for the chorus but that's all.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Mar 25 2025

I really enjoyed the beginning of every song but sometimes the middle part of the songs was really redundant for some songs which sucks because the riffs are insane, the voice of the singer is really great. I gave me some Siouxsie vibes sometimes. Really good album in general.

Mar 26 2025

Well well well I know that back in the 70s making a more than 10min song was normal but 18 MINUTES THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH !!!! The worst is that you have some enjoyable parts in those way-too-long songs so I can't say that I enjoyed the album but the singing part was most of the time really good and there were some good riffs as well.

Mott by Mott The Hoople
Mar 27 2025

Really good album, a lot of fantaisy in their songs a bit like Queen, it sounded really original not a classic rock album from the 70s. I particularly enjoyed "All The Way From Memphis" with a really good sax solo. "Honaloochie Boogie" and "Ballad of Moot People" were pretty nice too especially the second one really chill but with something really powerful in the voice.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Mar 28 2025

"Sympathy For The Devil" what an insane classic I think that's clearly my favourite Stones' song. The rest of the album is good but I think it's not their best album, I mean not my favourite the other songs were good to listen to but not really catchy just good.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Mar 31 2025

That was a really great song to start with "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" was awesome and catchy but the rest of the album was a bit boring like it was pretty good but I found it a bit repetitive on some songs like "You've Got It Bad Girl" so kinda disappointed not my favorite album from him.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Apr 01 2025

40 songs !?!?! Thank god there was some songs of few seconds or minutes which was perfect. Actually I hate albums which have way too long songs but this time that was perfect and Duke is clearly one of the best musician ever so that's awesome to listen to his work, I particularly looooove the first album for sure. So thank you for your work Duke we <3 U

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Apr 03 2025

Wtffff is the name of the first song ??? And wtfff are those lyrics ??? "Something Wicked This Way Comes" that was such a great song really catchy and groovy for sure, what a crazy synth !! "The Vibes Ain't Nothing But the Vibes" daaaamn the name of the song is so accurate that jazzy atmosphere is really great. "Vermillion Kisses" that song at first was sooo weird but the idea of making a song like that is sooo clever but the lyrics are crazy once again. I'm kinda lost to give a rate to that album, wtfff was it, clearly for the originality that's a big 5 but the lyrics were crazy and sometimes the vibes were weird as well so I would give a 3 but it's a 3.5.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Apr 04 2025

Stop with the 2 albums in one pleaseeeeee. "My Sweet Lord", I looove that vibe it reminds me of The Beatles, like George kept that vibe so much in that album in general ! George nooooo not you not the 7 minutes songs that's way too long even if "Isn't It a Pity" is awesome I love it. "Let It Down" what a song daaaamn, so smooth and deep and meaningful. "I Live For You" was soo damn good as well. George is clearly the underrated member of the Beatles, his work is amazing !!

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Apr 07 2025

"I'd Like To Know" damn what an insane to start an album with. You directly catch the vibe of the rest of the album. "Mansize Rooster" I looooved the song but the beginning in particular the riffs are sooo cool !! "Alright" is obviouslyyyyyyy a hugeeeee classiiiiic, this is the kind of song which gives you good vibes energy. "Strange Ones" is a huge banger as well. A bit less fan of the last few songs from the album but really enjoyable in general. Almost a 5.

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Apr 08 2025

Good album I got into the vibe, wasn't really focus on it or on the lyrics but I did enjoy listening to it. Good job my dude Solomon !

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Apr 09 2025

"Blue Orchid" what a greaaaat song to start with. Funny use of the xylophone during the first songs. "The Denial Twist" and "Red Rain" these 2 are pure bangers for suuuure. Clearly not the best album for me from the White Stripes. But the vibe in it is soo special and really interesting.

Yeezus by Kanye West
Apr 10 2025

Didn't listen to that album, don't want to support the artist.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Apr 11 2025

WHAT A VOICE MY DUDE !! He has such an insane which actually makes his songs incredible even if I'm not a huge fan of the style of his music but great work.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Apr 14 2025

She has such a voice especially in "Shadowboxer" or "Never Is a Promise" really profound, really touching but I'm not a huge fan of the music like that sounds weird which actually sucks because she sings pretty nicely !

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Apr 15 2025

"Sixteen Saltines" is obviously a classic with that guitar riff which is so simple but also so catchy. "Love Interruption" is awesome as well I did know Jack White's really rock side but a mor acoustic version is really nice as well. I lvoe the way he mixed rock and chill music in that album. "Weep Themselves To Sleep" wtffff was that guitar solo, kina disturbing and painful to listen to. "Trash Tongue Talker" has such a great piano part, really enjoyable. In general the album is pretty good, you can recognize the vibe coming from The White Stripes but also his own solo work with more chill vibes which awesome.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Apr 16 2025

Clearly not my favorite Radiohead's album but a really good one with always this weird and cool vibe. I particularly liked "Bodysnatchers" really intense and catchy. "Reckoner" is obviously a classic to have really enjoyable. In general the album is good but as I said not as good as it used to be.

White Light by Gene Clark
Apr 17 2025

I'm sorry but I can't deal no more with those country/cowboy vibes with that harmonica and that guitar, the kind of song you sing around a fire camp, I can't stand with that anymore that's way too much I think that the person behind that website is a huge country vibe ! Even if I loved "With Tomorrow" that was so smooth and enjoyable and then the banjo and harmonica and all their friends come back and that's terribleeeeee. But then a classic appear with "Stand By Me" I have to admit it was enjoyable, that's good one as well.

Sail Away by Randy Newman
Apr 18 2025

Really good album, what a really cool voice, it brings a really nice and jazzy atmosphere. I particularly appreciated "Last Night I Had A Dream" and "Dayton, Ohio - 1903".

Doolittle by Pixies
Apr 21 2025

Cool album for sure, I appreciate all the songs in general that weird vibe from the Pixies is awesome ! I particularly liked "Crackito Jones" for the song and the name.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Apr 22 2025

I wouldn't think that I would love that album but damn that was really good those acoustic parts are amazing I loved it really like the solo in "Blue Skies" was awesome and I loved every songs in general except "September Song" but "Georgia On My Mind" was really beautiful and probably my favorite one.

Apr 23 2025

The Last Of Us kind of music, not a huge fan of country music but it was clearly enjoyable and Bill has such a great voice and what a cool album name.

Shadowland by k.d. lang
Apr 24 2025

I'm really sorry Miss Lang I thought you were a man until I heard your voice and you have a beautiful voice but just not my kind of music.
