Not to my liking! Have never got on with Jimi Hendrix and have not understood why he is regarded so highly. But then other people are entitled to their opinion!

Tone of many tracks sounded pretty similar. Unlikely to be in my top 500 albums

Found it pretty ‘samey’ and gave up about half way. I enjoyed ‘Armed Forces’ so much more.

I was not immediately inspired when I listened to this recently and will have to listen again to give it another chance (REM being one of my most-listened groups) If in the top 1001 Albums, it would be quite far down the list!

A very pleasant surprise. I have no knowledge of Willie Nelson’s music - but definitely had preconceptions! A quiet, thought-provoking album. Very clean sounds and not overly orchestrated. An album for peaceful, reflective times.

Much better than I was expecting - but would be in 2nd half of the 1001 for me I did not really appreciate The Cure at the time but the sound has improved in my mind.

Amazingly I have never listened to his album before - but have heard and enjoyed many of its tracks before. This makes it a genuinely great album as it contains many iconic tracks.
