Ok this album rules . Surprising highlights included "things goin' on" and "I ain't the one". Goddamn good time.
This is the most 2002 of albums. Any one of these songs could have been plopped into garden state. At first I felt like, hey, I can dig this sad sad droning. But then...it kept going...and going. It was relentless drone.
This was cool. Nico's whole deal always makes me feel like I'm in an episode of SNL, but regardless, it was an interesting album and I'm glad it exists. Will I turn it on again? Probably not.
Objectively cool, not something I want to hear again, like really all of Queen. But, cooler than I anticipated.
It feels unfair to rate this because it very clearly is not my favorite genre and frankly sort of scares me to listen to. Having said that, there were some cool 80s beats and synth things happening and I liked that. I'm glad it's over and I don't have to feel this uncomfortable anymore.
I liked this album for like 2 songs and then I was annoyed. I can't really verbalize why but I was just over it.
I wanted so badly to like this. It honestly was like nails on a chalkboard for more than half the album. It's a no for me dog. One extra star bc the album cover kicks ass.
I love this album; harvest is one of my favorite songs. 4 stars only because there are a couple of tracks I find myself routinely skipping over.
