1001 Albums Summary

great album a lot of amazing songs, album that i want to listen to on a road trip on the east coast or berkeley.

a lot of nice songs throughout the album, but some alright songs in between.

I see why people love him, but it just didn’t appeal to me that much.. some songs were good though!

pretty solid albums. you can really hear the difference between music from the current gen to the music from like the 80-90s. feels like a remodeled retro house.

sounds very homey and cozy, perhaps maybe because of the older technology but it sounds original and homemade. david has such a beautiful and unique style that just completes his individuality.

reminds of an amusement park and songs you’d listen to on a rollercoaster. or one of those roller coaster montages.

my jaw is on the floor. what the h-e-double hockey sticks. this is amazing. so groovy so nice, great for background music.

Oooo cowboy movie esque. Not my cup of tea, it was an odd feeling..

the music feels really alive for some reason. despite the history during those times, the air feels joyous and bright.

such a classic, love nico so muchh!! her voice and her music is so unique, i’m so happy to have the chance to listen to this album since, i didn’t have the chance to do so. i love how individual the instrumentals are compared to the melody, apart from the strings.

it’s so crazy how the mv was recorded before the 9/11. he’s reminds me of ed sheeran.. or should i say ed sheeran reminds me of ryan adams.

so awesome sauce, i love the zombies, so i’m happy im able to listen to an album of theirs i’ve never listened to!!

i love lives it feels so raw. the music feels alive. his voice is so wonderful i love it so much.

such a long album, but such an awesome concert. again, i’m so weak for live recordings, but the music and the air just feels soooo alive and i absolutely love duke!!

very different compared to what i usually listen to. very enjoyable and reminded me of the time i used to listen to punk although this album isn’t punk at all.

not very much my favorite album, though i do like folk music. it’s good, some songs are just a bit too long.

very soulful, and fun, like a bouncy house you’d play in as a child. honest music. i really enjoyed it!!

Crazy how this is considered jazz, when it’s literal art in its literal form. It was not too loud, it was not the center of attention, but it stood out like a sore thumb in a positive sense.

david bowie is his own fabulous category. i will never get tired of his artistry and creativity. there will never be another one of him.

there were a lot of sounds going on apart from the music. i liked the classic feel to it. i like how its not remastered. the music itself was enjoyable.

sensual and intimate, jazz is always a dream for me.

although different to what i listen to, it somehow feels very familiar. obviously there’s some songs of theirs i’ve heard from them, but even then i felt a familiar feeling.

the album objectively is good. i’ve known a song from the album already. but it’s not the type of music that appeals to me, though the music it self is great.

so fun, reminds me of an old cartoon/silent film instrumental.
