I don't hate the concept... But the execution... Oh no Not my cup of liquid

American Idiot by Green Day
Jun 07 2025

I like the there's a story running through the album even tho they are all individual songs.

Tragic Songs of Life by The Louvin Brothers
Jun 08 2025

Felt like I was teleported to the wild west. I really like the sound, also weirdly could hear an essence of Green Days much older songs in it, particularly Kentucky and and Let her go. Maybe they grew up listening to this album from their parents.

Jun 09 2025

Didn't mind the more chilled songs on this, but didn't find it exciting or inspiring. The songs with a faster more upbeat style were a bit chaotic, someone should have told this guy his strength was in calmer songs. Couple of ok tunes, particularly liked Paper Sun, it made me thick of The Beatles.

Jun 10 2025

The only people I've ever known to genuinely enjoy Coldplay have been really angry people. They're still angry.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jun 11 2025

I didn't mind the first song, it reminded me of the ok parts of Red Hot Chilli Pepper songs, but after that I lt didn't hold my interest, I can see how it's enjoyable but it's not for me.

The Bends by Radiohead
Jun 12 2025

They have a nice sound but get a bit repetitive and every song feels like it's on the verge of getting going, but it never does

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jun 13 2025

I did not enjoy this, it felt like when you have strange dreams and a really long night on strong antibiotics.

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Jun 17 2025

If she was still around today I think she'd still be a big deal and a frequent face on TV.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Jun 18 2025

Heard of him, never listened until now, didn't expect him to be so romantic I was expecting something heavier, not my cup of tea but I can appreciate it

Night Life by Ray Price
Jun 19 2025

I see how people like it but it's not for me

1984 by Van Halen
Jun 20 2025

Makes me think of those fathers day compilation CDs from the early 2000s

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jun 21 2025

I've never enjoyed the sound of Michael Jackson... Even before I knew he was morally questionable

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Jun 23 2025

I'm having a hard time understanding what makes anany of these albums legendary 😅

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Jun 24 2025

Really not my cup of tea, very fathers day CD compilation from Woolworths

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Jun 26 2025

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees

I think this guy should have stuck to songwriting, nice words, like the concept of the songs, but his voice is not enjoyable at all. Almost my cup of tea.

Pornography by The Cure
Oct 21 2025

I've always kind of wished I could have gotten into the Cure but after multiple attempts I am starting to see where Morrissey was coming from: (from Google) Morrissey made famously harsh comments about The Cure, calling their frontman Robert Smith a "whingebag" and claiming the band "adds a new dimension to the word 'crap'"
