The Notorious Byrd Brothers
The ByrdsIt's not as transcendent as I thought when I was 15.

This album wasn't for me, and I'm not sure who it is for musically. Maybe the language barrier has me impeded, but the music stylings were a sign of their times and kind of just sounded like I was standing in line at a Häagen-Dazs at the mall.
It's good. A lot of songs blend together. The hits are the hits for their uniqueness, the rest is just kinda there.
I hate Bruce Springsteen, but I liked this album.
Meh
Didn't realize how many of these songs I knew and that they were Coldplay? It's a good, if not one-note album.
As a young millennial who likes Pink Floyd, this was fine. I think I appreciate it more than I like it. For its time it was new and special.
Fantastic
After three songs I was ready to turn this off and I'm really glad I didn't. What a pleasant surprise from an artist I've never heard of.

This album was better each time I ran through it. What a treat.
Holy moly
Passing on Kanye no Nazi stuff here
This album was so good and full of hits and happiness
I liked emo and goth stuff in high school, but I love this. Bring back real raw goth stuff.
I typically love new wave brit pop so maybe it was really my high hopes that let me down, but this album was borderline ok at best.
I'm not sure I was on the right drugs for this one.
The greatest.
Generational hip hop album. Changed the game for everyone who has come since.
I lined this more than I thought I would
I feel like my parents really undersold Bowie and now I'm playing catch-up. This was really good.
This is 1 hr 52 min too long.
This was not something I'd ever heard that sounded familiar and comforting.
This album is not for me, nor is it for anyone not actively shooting an adult video.
Good albeit average 70's rock stuff. Fun to hear that 70's show song.
I remember listening to this album after I heard "More Than a Feeling" on Guitar Hero. I was 13 and it transformed me. 22 years later my stomach filled with butterflies as each song came flooding back. The baby did not sleep on the way to daycare yesterday, we were too busy singing.
Some songs did not suck!
I love this album but there are a few duds. Grace Slick might have my favorite voice of the era.
My uncle has played in bar bands for my entire life. He plays bass and sings one song, La Grange. His deep bass voice is perfect for the intro, and he finds the key each time and rocks the house. When I was a little kid, this was magic. It still is at 35. 4 stars because Uncle Art crushes it.
