inoffensively bland radio music that I really only see myself dusting off when I need something harmless to play for company, didn't *dislike* it, but I don't know that I MUST have heard it before I died.

Better than I remembered / expected. Though I doubt I'll be back for another listen very often.

I dig the lo-fi sound. Certainly like this Dr John a lot more than the later work I primarily associate with him. Might have to ask ChatGPT about jumping off points from this album.

I've always liked the kinks track on the Rushmore soundtrack and thought I should look into finding more, but this album has reduced the priority of that task. Not wild about it, maybe you had to be there ...

Didn't love this album at first, but it sure grew on me over the years.

Wasn't an instant beloved album, but it seems to have all the hallmarks of the kind of album I come back to later and ultimately wind up not believing I wasn't completely in it's thrall right off

Solid album, but at some point for me the songs really start to all sound the same.

I'm afraid Family Guy ruined me for Randy Newman. Unoffensive album, but I don't really see myself reaching for it in the future

Very cool! Reminded me at times of listening to In Rainbows. Clearly would never have found this if it hadn't been assigned to me - I could barely find it once it had, anyway
